I ordered a sauna 3 months ago that was advertised as "in stock and ready to ship". They took payment up front instead of when it shipped. There has been no proactive communication from them regarding the delays, and I keep getting the run around whenever I reach out. I'm realizing this website is a scam and I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Ordered a Pilates Reformer. I have now been waiting for 2 months and have received nothing from Recovery for Athletes. They also took payment upfront. I called to cancel my order received a run around for 3 days, they said they would cancel the order, never heard back from them, called today and now they tell me not cancellable. When I asked why I wasn't notified of this until today they said we never discussed this which was just an outright lie. They even tried to sell me a different color and give a discount. What a scam. RUN RUN RUN DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

“I purchased a $4,000 massage chair from this company only to have it show up weeks late and damaged. Once they set it up they realized it was missing the internal air hoses. They took it apart and left. A new chair showed up over a month later which was also cosmetically damaged. Once they set it up they realized this chair was too broken and had many features that did not work. I worked with their horrible customer service (Hayes) who sent parts for it to be fixed. This took over a month and when the tech came to fix the broken parts, he left and my chair doesn’t work.

It will turn on then freeze.

I cannot get any help from Recovery for Athletes and spent 4k for a broken chair. I am
taking action in other ways to get this resolved. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY

I have worked in the customer service industry for the past 15 years, have bough numerous items online and local with paid service but I have not witness such awesome customer service and care as show by this company. After numerous emails, and phone calls between myself and Hayes, he had the company hire an outside moving company to move the treadmill to my basement on their dime. I goes to show the level of dedication they have for the customers and I just want to say how much I appreciate their service in keeping me in the loop throughout the entire process. When a company takes care of you from the beginning to make things right, I have no hesistation that they will go the extra mile for you when things go sideways.

Ordered two items from this “retailer”:
(1) Elina Pilates Spine Supporter
(2) BASI Systems Ladder Barrel (Ordered on January 8, 2022, “to be received by late January”)

First, this company is just a sort of filter as they send the orders to the actual Seller/Manufacturer and the products are supposed to ship directly from the manufacturer; Recovery For Athletes does not stock these items, which they fail to mention on their website or over the phone.

My orders sat for weeks with an “unfulfilled” and “paid” status, but the BASI Systems Ladder Barrel never shipped. I’ve contacted them several times and emailed, left messages for, and spoke, with Hayes, whom would give me different dates as to when it “is supposed to ship”. Finally at the end of January, I had to reach out several times to find out the status and Hayes said it should ship the first week of February. I’m fed up by now so I called and emailed to cancel my order and issue a full refund on January 27, 2022; no response. Sent another email to check the status on the cancellation and issue a refund on January 31, 2022; no response. Threatened to open a case with PayPal, which I did, then they responded asking if I would still like to cancel or wait another week for it to ship out; I responded to cancel and that I have already ordered a different brand directly through the manufacturer. They responded again stating, “We were waiting to see if you wanted to switch your order to Merrithew before cancelling your order….” I responded yet again to please cancel and refund. Everything goes quiet again, so I send another email today, February 1, 2022, asking how long does it take to cancel the order and issue the refund as the order is still ‘active’ on their website. I don’t how many ways I can say, “cancel this order and issue a full refund” as they act like they don’t understand what I’m requesting. By the way, this is not a language barrier, but a lack in communication and a deceptive practice as I believe that they are trying to wait me out for the item to actually ship and then say it’s too late.

This company is very fraudulent and will try to keep your money at all cost.

The day I ordered a Stages bike from them Recovery for Athletes they were the best price option for my region so I opted to order through them. Their communication concerning delivery lack much to be desired.
As others have stated, the equipment I purchased was shipped direct from Stages. RFA acts as a middle man as best as I can discern. After over one week of my order status being listed as unfulfilled I reached out to RFA and was told Stages was not shipping because they were "taking inventory" that week. This struck me as odd as people on the Stages Facebook group who ordered direct from Stages after I had ordered had received their identical product.
Two weeks after placing order shipping status still showed as unfulfilled. I contacted RFA again and they said it should ship "soon" and that the delivery company would contact me to schedule a drop off. That night I did get an update with a FedEX tracking number and delivery date and time with no opportunity to schedule. So I arrange my schedule to be at my home at the time of delivery.
Day of (supposed) delivery, I get an email from FedEX 4 hours prior to delivery stating the bike had been delivered... but it wasn't at my house! I reached out one more time to RFA to see what's up.
RFA associate told me, "because FedEX has damaged bikes in the past we ship to a third party, they will contact you in the next two days to setup delivery"
So, J. B. Hunt is going to sit on it four days before shipping it to my house. They won't let me come pick it up; they have to deliver.
I understand the logic of why they choose to ship in this manner, however I wish they had explained the shipping process at the time of order, or at the very least the first time I reached out to check on my order. In all honesty, I now wish I had ordered direct from Stages as most of the people on the FB group report delivery within a week of ordering.
If RFA had been more transparent the first time I asked for the status of my order they would have at least received 4 stars, and may have even earned more business from me in the future.

They don't have the items in stock, they simply order for the manufacturer when you place the order. They don't specify this, they actually said that the item was "In Stock and Ready to Ship". Bought an 1400$ compression pants and the order still hasn't shipped 12 days afterwards. I've tried to contact them several times with no response. Now they say they will ship it on January (3 months after completing the order). They still cant provide an exact date. They are telling me this 12 days after placing the order and after the discount is not offered any more on other sites so I am either stuck with them or I must pay the full price elsewhere. Extremely disappointed with this experience. Had I known, I would have never considered them.

Garbage product and they don’t honor the warranty they say it comes with. Complete waste of money.

I ordered a phone holder for my Stages cycle bike on 3/7/21 I waited two months for the item to arrive only to have the wrong item shipped (thanks for the paper weight). I emailed to receive a blanket response a few days later, apparently the wrong item was shipped to a number of folks that ordered the same item. The email stated they would ship out the original and intended item in 2-3 weeks, that was on 4/19/21 so going on another two months and I still have not received the item I ordered. My last two emails have received no response, I would highly encourage anyone reading this to order elsewhere unless you like waiting 4+ months for your item to arrive, and who knows if I will ever actually receive this...

One of the employees of this company stole my credit card # and purchased tickets for Walt Disney. They were the only company I purchased from in the last 60 days except Nordstrom and Macy's, and I know those two did not steal my #. Then to top if off I think they were also tying to steal my $4000.00 message chair by sending it to their address, luckily I cough it in time. AVOID.

I came across this company when I was purchasing my WaterRower machine and they were wonderful. They had the most competitive prices, helped me greatly in choosing the right model for me and it was just all around a great experience from placing the order to shipping and delivery. It was a backordered product so I was braced for a long wait time but it shipped earlier than expected, perfectly packaged & I got emails updating me of the status every step of the way. Thank you!! : )

They were able to assist me with my order.

We have promoting this website to our blog readers for 2 months but we are discovered that his team steal our earnings and cheat us. Another observation is that the store sell the recovery boots for a high price and their customer sport recommend some brands that doesn't have medical grade and that's can put athletes and diabetics patients in danger.
