There is a reason this is the second time we've used Regent Holidays; the first time was excellent. This second, a trip through the Balkans, was to the same standard, everything planned and arranged for us, we only had to enjoy the experience. There are reasons we'll be using Regent Holidays for future trips - our previous two.

Another wonderful trip with Regent this time to Azerbaijan and Nakchivan. We packed so much in with wonderful scenery, historic buildings, good food etc in this little known and visited country. Nakchivan is an autonomous region bordered by Armenia, Iran and Turkey so we flew in and out for 3 days, well worth going with very few visitors, their loss!

Having decided quite last minute to book a trip to sample a few parts of Norway and always being used to arranging everything ourselves we decided to use a tour operator and chose Regent. This was based on the brochure/website information and to be honest mainly the knowledge and response of the adviser from the first call. Overall very impressed with the offer, service, ability to respond to alternative requests, first class arrangements, information provided and quality of travel/hotels/excursions. In addition keeping in touch whilst we were away and checking things were in place following a slight change with arrangements from a 3rd party demonstrated a very professional approach and attention to detail. Having had wall to wall sunshine for a week, even in Bergen, and finishing the week celebrating Norway's Constitution Day made it an unforgettable experience. Will definitely use Regent again and recommend to others.

As always, Regent's organisation, knowledge attention to detail and itinerary second to none, we've used them for decades an will continue to do so.

Our week exploring Montenegro was wonderful: the scenery is stunning and the people warm and welcoming. Regent organised everything so that we could enjoy every moment.

Our holiday to Scandinavian capitals was excellent in every way.
Regent selected first class hotels in perfect locations close to rail stations and all main sights.
All tickets and connections worked like clockwork.
Whole experience stress free thanks to Regents arrangements and itinerary.

Fantastic tour of Nepal and Bhutan. UK staff were very helpful and responsive. Trekking guides were excellent and the tour included many memorable highlights.

Twelve days in Albania that included 4 nights in Tirana, 3 nights in Berat and 4 nights in Durres. First time in country and certainly not sorry. Both Tirana and Berat are interesting, worth exploring and rewarding. Durres, a seaside resort is in the process of development or improvement to the seashore/beach with lorries and cranes operating all day within metres of loungers but there is evidence that when complete this will be just like any other popular beach resort.
The city centre, some distance away is not unlike other commercial and business cities but with some worthwhile antiquities such as the amphitheatre. The cost of meals is unbelievably low and the people most helpful and friendly. Arrangements went perfectly with reassuring messages about upcoming transport times etc. BUT with one serious exception.
HOTEL COLOMBO, in Berat where we were told there was a spa centre and swimming pool on site for payment as and when used. These facilities were all closed and we were advised by the hotel that they are only available for guests to use between June and September and that this information has been made known to all agents; however, it was not made known to us; on the contrary, we were specifically told "there is a spa centre on site with swimming pool and saunas and Gym".

Just returned from Iceland 1 week self drive. Beautiful country with lots to see and do. Particularly recommend the glacier hike and the snorkelling in the tectonic plates.
Marked down 1 star as the route plan wasn't completely logical and Reykjavik hotel could have been a better standard. That said overall Regent did a good job.

Just returned home from an amazing trip to Norway. 1 night Bergen, 1 week Havila Voyages, 1 night in the Snowhotel Kirkenes and 1 night in Oslo, all arranged by Peter at Regent Holidays. All the hotels were of the highest standard and in great locations. Havila was amazing! For the amount we paid for the whole trip I think it was all really good value for money. First time using this hassle-free, no-stress company and we will definitely consider using them again.

The organisation was seamless and totally stress free. I’m planning to use Regent Holidays again for my next holiday!

Just arrived back from my Tromso/Svalbard experience and all I can say is wow, what an experience. The booking went like clockwork, the itinerary was excellent and well paced, the hotels were centrally located and the breakfasts were tasty.
The companies used for the activities were top notch and their guides were brilliant.
This was my first time using Regent and I would use them again and i would recommend them.

We just got back from an incredible trip by rail across the arctic circle. We've not used Regent before and they were brilliant, and great value for money. Emma Brown (Nordic specialist) was fabulous - she listened to all our requirements and made sure the trip was well booked and seamless. We are already thinking of using Regent for our honeymoon next year! Thanks so much again

I just got back from an 8 day holiday in Tromso and Svalbard. It was perfect from start to finish. I had the most amazing time. I am so grateful and impressed to Emma Brown and Regent for the flawless organisation of my holiday which meant I had no stress and could fully enjoy every moment.

Jo helped me plan the perfect getaway to Lapland and her knowledge of the activities and accommodation was excellent. All the team at Regent were helpful when I had a query prior to departure. We stayed for 4 nights at the Inari Wilderness hotel in the chalet accommodation.

The room was clean, spacious and we had a great view overlooking the lake. The activities were really well organised with friendly, informed staff. They allowed us to change one of activities whilst there. The food was delicious and although buffet never ran out. I would absolutely recommend both Regent and the hotel.

We were even lucky enough to see an excellent display of the northern lights.

We have just returned from our wonderful and very well planned four night trip to the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway. The activities and scheduling were excellent and the scenery is absolutely spectacular. The drive from Evenes airport to Svolvaer added to the adventure but allow plenty of time (3-4 hours) especially in the snow. The Scandic Hotel at Svolvaer has the most incredible views and if weather allows superb Northern Lights displays. We learnt how climate change is affecting this fragile environment so now is definitely the time to go. Thankyou for the excellent organisation.
