Quick, easy to deal with

Grant and the team have given us the most amazing experience in buying our latest car. We found a car that we loved and within a couple of days it had been delivered to us in a very easy transaction with updates and support from Grant the whole time.
Unfortunately the car had a serious engine issue which only became apparent after driving for a few weeks. When I called Grant I was apprehensive with what his response would be but he was amazing. They gave us a courtesy car whilst they sourced a new, almost identical car, for us and even replaced a slow puncture on the new car for us.
What could have been a really tough experience has been from start to finish really easy. Grant kept us updated and informed throughout and has been kind and very responsive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Adam went the extra mile to help me get approved for finance, which I really appreciated. His communication was excellent, keeping me updated every step of the way. I contacted reynolds and was assigned to alfie, he was so fast i was approved for finance within a couple of hours, the paper work was all completed and car ready to be collected the next day, would highly recommend!

Nice guys, accommodating and friendly. Just wished there had been more transparency from the start. I test drove a car but noticed some ‘correction’ work had been carried out and to not a good standard (easily noticed). When I questioned this I was told the truth and shown a few pictures of the vehicle prior to sale.
As much as I liked the car this lack of openness from the start planted the seed of doubt hence I decided to walk.

Had a really good experience with Adam at RMG Southend.
Really took the time to help me find a solution to the situation and a suitable car. He provided me with as much information as he could and kept up open communication throughout the process. Frankie was also really friendly and helpful while I was on site.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Reynolds Basildon to hire purchase a used vehicle and I couldn’t be more satisfied. From the moment I reached out to inquire, the team was responsive, professional, and incredibly efficient. The entire sales process has been smooth. Appreciate the communication from Alfie @ Reynolds.

The car is great, the salesman was very rude! Grant allowed me to pay for deposit and tax on my credit card, then was very rude when I used it for the payment (Grant never said I couldn’t and had let me use it twice already). He called me sly, cheeky and ‘knew what I was doing’ and then tried to ‘make a deal’ with me to rectify his own mistake (basically it incurred a fee from the credit card). Since then, I have waited over 10 weeks for my v5 to come and he has been lying over WhatsApp about why I was still waiting for my v5. The reality being, when I spoke to DVLA is that he never sent it off. I have received it now as I paid £25 to dvla because I gave up dealing with him. I have been nothing but polite in my messages, and even when he was being rude to me on the day of purchase I was apologetic (for something that wasn’t even my error). So, I am disappointed that it has ended up such a bad experience.

Could not fault these guys! Just got my second car from them, got a car about 7 years ago & never had any problems & just picked another one up today with no issues at all. Adam was soo friendly & welcoming from start to end, always happy to answer any questions i had & he always kept me in the loop with everything that happens! When i picked my car up today, Adam even showed me a few bits in the car. Was quick & easy, 10/10 <3

Awful and untrustworthy company. Sold us a car in October 2023, which then broke down by February 2024 and we had to pay £6,000 in repairs, and the issues are STILL ongoing. This breakdown put our family in danger, as it was on a motorway, with our one year old in the car.

The warranty we were sold was useless and effectively a scam. They wanted to tear down the car further even though a professional garage had already confirmed and taken photos of one of the issues which caused the engine to completely stop.

Under the Consumer Rights Act they were supposed to either refund the car, issue a partial refund if we wanted to keep it or offer to repair. This dealership just told us: "You've had four months of happy motoring, it's not our problem".

They are no-doubt going to reply to this review, claiming that they tried to help us, or something to that effect. Please believe us when we tell you, this is FALSE.
