We were served by Paul the store manager. We went looking for a particular tv. Paul was very friendly, patient and helpful, talking us through the options and demonstrating the picture quality etc to us and this helped us to make our final decision and purchase an LG OLED TV. We have bought tvs from Richer Sounds in Middlesbrough for many years now and always find the options and competitive prices and friendly professional staff to be second to none.

Very Pleased with the service and advice, unfortunately the pedestal stand was too tall so had to change it and this was done efficiently and without hesitation by Stuart, who checked the stock and advised on an appropriate one, which has solved the problem. Please note, the Sony K55XRM2 Vesa 300X300 is not central, the 2 lower threaded hole are approx. 87mm from the base, so that was my problem. But as I stated, this was solved by Stuart. Thank you Stuart and Paul for your advice and help.

Excellent service

Really shocking service from Richer Sounds! You need to feed this up the chain. You can deliver new tvs, you can deliver empty boxes for the customer to pack, you fail to collect and you fail to deliver loan tvs. 95 year old housebound customer without a tv for possibly weeks. Fortunately he can afford to buy a new tv to watch while the one under guarantee gets repaired. Back to John Lewis in the future!

Simple to use web site,ordered my TV online to be collected from the Middlesbrough shop i was contacted as soon as it was delivered to the shop,when i went to pick it up the lad in the shop said they had opened it because the box was a little damaged and he wanted to make sure it was OK which was good,that is why like buying my tv's from richer sounds great service Thank-you.

I have made a number of purchases from Richer Sounds over the years and have never been disappointed, the level of service is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable allowing for informed decisions to be made prior to purchasing. I was particularly impressed on my most recent purchase, when I was offered a loan of a demo device to take home and test before buying. I am confident that this kind of service would not be offered at a larger retailer. In my opinion the independence of Richer Sounds is one of their greatest strengths, as they can offer unbiased opinions on a large range of products which gives greater confidence that value for money for the customer is a priority

i wanted to upgrade my hi-fi loudspeakers to something really nice so of course the first place i looked was the Richer Sounds website. what was great about the website was being able to compare specifications of the four products i was interested in. only one area fell short: there was no information about the delivery company and therefore i had to call someone from the national sales team. i needed to be able to request an afternoon delivery but unfortunately DPD were unable to offer this. therefore i called the closest Richer Sounds retail store who were pleased to take my order, were knowledgeable and who even gave me a discount whilst relating to my excitement at the prospect of audiophile sound once again! for payment, i was sent a link to a secure third party rather than having to read the card out over the phone, which i preferred. DPD then delivered my loudspeakers to the store for my collection. that afternoon i was able to drive to the store in my own time, park directly outside, and collect my loudspeakers and cabling in a relaxed and friendly store - they even carried the speakers to my car for me! i would encourage anyone looking to buy hi-fi, 5.1 or tv equipment to check out Richer Sounds. by appointment, the store are even willing to provide demonstrations, which i would have requested if i was uncertain in any way. oh, and the product? my new Wharfedale Super Denton 3-way bookshelf loudspeakers are everything i wanted and more! literally worth every penny. i couldn’t be more pleased. thank you for meeting my expectations, Richer Sounds. next up: a 5.1 surround sound system…
