Ordered autumn vegetable plugs for our allotment.
They arrived very healthy and strong and I really admired the non plastic packaging. I would definitely order from them again , I live in a small London flat so very little space, window sills! For growing seedlings

Another great delivery!!! We ordered leeks and spring cabbage on our last order, they arrived looking fabulous!!! Strong and healthy plants! We weren't able to plant them straight away but were given information about how to keep them happy until we could put them in their permanent beds which we followed and last weekend we put them in their permanent beds and they are all very happy!!!! I highly recommend this company and we have just placed our 3rd order!!!!!!

The plants we ordered were for a school to start a sensory corner for our nursery age children. The plants came beautifully packaged the children really enjoyed unpacking them, touching and smelling our new plants. Then we received a newsletter with lots of tips and ideas. Thank you

I ordered the family veggie package of three deliveries in the year (may, June and September)
Just wanted to tell you how pleased I have been with all my packages. They all survived travel from Cornwall to Scotland brilliantly.
I haven't had success with everything I planted, for some reason I haven't managed to grow a decent carrot at all - probably put them in the wrong places. I got raised bed frames for my Christmas present at the start of the year, but still had to use an assortment of pots and troughs for the huge number of plants you sent. And some plants got planted in the flower beds too.
Also everything has had some problems because of the very dry summer we have had, almost unheard of in Scotland. Since our rivers have also been very low, I have tried to do minimal watering, so at times I have been surprised that anything has done so well. Some of my long-established raspberries finished rather early this year (but not before we could eat a lot and freeze a lot). The rocket was a little disappointing, whereas the lollo rosso and chard were magnificent.
I also failed to keep off the cabbage white butterflies, despite companion planting of lavender, marigolds, and a profusion of borage which the bees love.
Enough broccoli and other brassicas have survived though, for our favourite broccoli and stilton soup to become a regular lunchtime treat again.
But the first Spring good crops were spinach and Kale (cavolo nero) of which we ate copious quantities. Then peas, lettuce, and baby beets before the beans started coming profusely. The French beans didn't do as well as the runner beans, but I have enough portions in re-used take-away and ice-cream boxes in the now rather full freezer to keep us going through all the winter months.

I left my review until the end of the season as “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”. And so, on reflection, all I can say, is that every single item flourished (dwarf French beans, beetroot, lettuce x2) and cropped beautifully. I will definitely be a return customer next season.

Sadly the chard I got from Rocket was diseased and one squash plant in bad condition. Really mixed reviews on the rest, the flowers barely grew and all died, so did most of the courgette plants. The Broad beans are the only ones that are doing well - they’re flowering now. The dispatch was quick, and they came well packaged in eco packaging. The customer service were really helpful and refunded me for the diseased plants though!

My veg plants were delivered in time for me to plant before going on holiday the plants were so healthy and fresh and I am looking forward to seeing how they are faring when I return!

The delivery was very prompt indeed, arrived the day after dispatch. The plants I received were really excellent and I have never had plants so well packaged ever. It was great to see the packaging was all eco friendly and recyclable.

Have just had second order delivered and in both cases excellent in all respects. seedlings on first order quickly established themselves and growing well. Packing was excellent and great to be able to use the boxes for the compost.
Keep doing what you are doing. It works.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from Rocket Gardens but it won’t be the last. They quickly dispatched my order in lovely recyclable packaging, and the healthy plants arrived in perfect condition. A week later they’re all thriving - nothing has failed. I loved the planting guide they included, which is beautifully illustrated, and I emailed them before placing my order for some planting advice which they were happy to respond to. First class service all round, and a great selection of healthy organic plants.

I recently place an order with this company.
I then received innumerable ‘update’ emails.
Eventually I was able to cancel part of the order, the refund was the only thing they did well.
The plants which I did receive were of very poor quality, the had obviously been in the plug trays far too long and were starved of nutrients.
Never again!

Very reasonable priced plants. Very well packed with speedy delivery. Great advice in the plant catalog. Looking forward to ordering again.

Received my first order of a few veg plugs today and they did not disappoint. I found the website after visiting my local garden centres looking for ready sowed veg plants and couldn’t find any at all. The website very easy to use and very helpful as a new allotment owner with not much experience. I was able to click away and find what plants I could plant plant out now and just picked away. Order was sent in a few days of ordering, as expected from the info given beforehand.
Everything arrived neatly packaged, plastic free and I could smell the quality of the soil/ compost they were grown in. The catalogue is a gorgeous and helpful read and I will definitely be referring back to it and ordering more as the months go on.
Just hope my growing skills improve and I end up with some lovely vegetables for winter!!
Would love to visit the farm and see all these plants in their early stages. 🙂

Received my first order plants today. Duly delivered by Royal Mail as promised.
I am very pleased with my plants I have potted them on this afternoon. They look great. They were beautifully packed in brown paper and cardboard all now in my compost bin. So absolutely no waste. I’m delighted the plants are all organic as I’m growing them for the Kirkwood Hospice. Where I’m sure they’ll be served to patients and their families,staff and volunteers in the not too distant future.

This summer growing season, I have ordered so many plants, plugs and seeds from several different place but Rocket Gardens has been by far my favourite plug/plant order. My order contained cauliflower, broccoli anf sweetcorn plugs and I wish I had ordered more but I've already pushed the boundaries of acceptable distancing. All the plants arrived healthy and in one piece securely nestled in recyclable brown paper and card packaging. It's the only order from an online nursery that has arrived all in one piece with nothing snapped, pinched or wilted. On top of that, Rocket enclosed the absolute best catalogue, ever! It is full of extensive, beautifully illustrated listings, a useful planting calendar and lots of information. I will definitely order again!

I ordered some autumn plants from Rocket Gardens. They arrived when expected, well packed and healthy plants. I love the booklet that was enclosed. It has some very useful tips. I'm looking forward to some lovely veg in a few months!

Rocket gardens would get a 0 star from me but ther is no option fir that first of all my order was late 2nd the items they sent wear not what I orderd. 3rd the custmer servis robot herby is broken I was on the live chat on and if f it r 2hrs over 3 days now and still have not heard back iv sent them emails with regards to my orde slso the plants they sent are now dead and I’m not sure how to get the correct plants or a refund this is the 2nd time iv used rocket gardens and had isues with my order I thought it was a 1 of but I can see they don’t care about ther customers avoid at all cost unles you want to be dispoited like I am

I have bought many times from Rocket Gardens. The last few times - the experience has been 5*. I live in a remote and rural area and the only reliable carrier that delivers 6 days a week is Royal Mail. I was delighted to learn the Rocket Gardens now only use Royal Mail. My last deliver of carrot plug plants arrived within 2 days - normally would take 4-5 days, meaning, my plants were fresh. I found the customer service very responsive and helpful, keeping me updated as necessary. Highly recommend and will continue buying from them.

The plants arrived and were really poor. I photographed them and informed rocket gardens immediately. Have sent three further emails and have had no response. I have been a faithful supporter of Rocket Gardens buying plants from them in previous years, their lack of customer care has really saddened me. I spent £70 on my summer veg and have been left with almost nothing to show for the cost.
