Rohan Reviews 

Recently ordered a coat from Rohan website. I found the website easy to use and ordering was straightforward. Delivery service was effective and I received my coat on time.
This is the second Brecon coat I’ve purchased because I love my first one so much I wanted another in a different colour! Bring on the British weather - I’m prepared thanks to Rohan!

Have been buying Rohan gear for years, for travel in different climates, long-distance treks and for everyday wear, as the clothes were reliably comfortable, lightweight and washed and dried so easily: very versatile. Rohan did not smother their products with unsightly branding, and the designs were thoughtful, minimalist and cool.
However, i feel my favourite clothing company are losing their edge: lower quality zips and fabrics, unnecessary 'tweaks' described by the company as 'improvements' but are obviously just cost-cutting measures.
The Rohan design team have ignored loyal customers' requests to bring back the original boot-cut 'Troggings' trousers (very classy) and have left us instead with a generic, lower waisted, stretchy jodhpur style. Similar tweaks with the 'Roamer' trousers.
Recently i chanced buying some 'sherpa' fleeces in the winter sale: they will be returned when i am next in the UK, as the collars are flimsy and don't sit right and therefore impractical for winter wear.
Sadly, like many who remember the Rohan of yore, I will avoid buying from them in future.
A shout out to Rohan staff (in-store and on the phone help-lines) who continue to do a great job.

Bags are great pants and they came on time. It’s a shame you are closing your Manchester store, I don’t buy most things on line unless I’ve had them before and know what I’m getting.

Good priced shorts and as I know the quality, happy they will serve their purpose.

Very good service: my order was despatched promptly and I was kept informed of the forecast delivery. Unfortunately the jacket was not what I required: the free return service was very easy to action and my card account was quickly credited with the initial outlay.

These were nice and slim on my legs but just too tight on the hips ( size10) so I returned them. I have a few Amblers size12 but they are a bit baggy in the legs.

Bought a Crossboarder jacket in the sale at the Durham shop. My size was not in stock but the assistant couldn’t be more helpful and sourced one at the Cambridge branch and had it delivered to my home - no charge - in less than 24 hours! Great service. Great jacket too!

I find that Rohan clothes are well made and fit me well.
They last for ages, I have tops and trousers 30+ years old. I don't recall ever throwing any away they go to charity shops in the end. I think that they can also be returned to Rohan shops.
Good value considering the quality especially in their sales.

I rate Rohan clothing very highly and have been buying it for literally decades. The online service is efficient and the staff in the shops are very helpful. Also the customer service side is good.

l bought a few items years ago but l decided to buy a whole complete kits as l was cruising from Iceland all the way to Japan, in the same temperate zone as UK. l found the light and waterproof trousers, merino shirts and light cardigan, waterproof jacket, linen shirts, UV shirts etc very light and easy packing and quick drying. l bought a complete wardrobe and it was over £800 and worth an investment. The style is suited for hiking and not suited for smart use as it is conservative and dated. But it does serve a function - very comfortable and suitable for cold weather. For the hot weather in Singapore, l prefer to use local shops for cheap stylish linen shirts and shorts.

I bought a pair of trousers in the Covent Garden shop. A seam has started to unravel, when the trousers have only had light use. I sent the company a photo of the trousers and the seam. My husband paid for them and I can not find the receipt. Rohan will only issue a response if I mail the trousers back to them. I repaired them myself so I don’t want to do that. I would buy another pair if the company had been willing to offer a gesture of compensation. I find it unacceptable when I paid £90 and they are not interested in assisting me. I could even tell them the staff member who served me. Very poor customer service from a company who should understand that they should not behave like a two penny retailer if they want return customers. No wonder they dont get a good rating on this website.

I was surprised to be charged for delivery when I spent over £100.
The item wasn’t suitable so I had to pay a return fee as well so all in all I spent nearly £8 on….. nothing

Lovely t shirt looks good and is comfortable too.

Usual standard of Rohan products as expected but really impressed with the next day delivery on sale items.

Easy collect in store procedure, quality products and great staff.
