Not nice experience with Romans in Bracknell.
Holding my deposit without a reason, no communication, no information, nothing.
Everyone in this company seems to have plenty of time and is not interested in getting the things sorted.
Will not recommend that company to anyone.

Appalling service from the start, felt very let down and lied to. Will never use Roman's again

Avoid this company in renting from them.
Nearly 4 weeks since moving outnof one of the managed properties & still no deposit back.
No deductions have been agreed & all I get from Romans is stalling tactics in not repaying
This might sound a small problem to some, but in my mind it's totally unacceptable.
However I am about to seek legal advice on this matter.

A pretty terrible experience from the beginning and of of the most inept letting agents I have had the experience of dealing with.

Punctuality has been poor. Numerous telephone and in person appointments not attended.

Copy of birth certificate lost.

Continually having to chase up on requests made.

A change in property manager with no handover of any sort. We had to contact to locate our own new property manager.

I have looked at reviews and any negative reviews get a generic templated response - which doesn’t surprise me in all honesty.

Aston is such lovely person. Her visit was so professional, she get along well with my little son, she made him laugh! Her visit was so quick, didn’t even noticed and she was done with our 6 months property check.

Valuation, photography, viewings and negotiations handled efficiently. The disappointment came when the Move Manager went on holiday and I wasn't offered contact details for a stand-in, so there was a lack of continuity.

Terrible organisation, think about theirselves and not their customers. Always have an excuse why they cannot provide the correct service.

Great communication. Happy to answer any questions I asked feel happy that they will see through till the end.

Romans have been my property managing agent for 10 years now, and Donna-Marie Brant has been my Property Manager for just over a year.

Donna is always a real pleasure to deal with and is super helpful and responsive. She is very professional and I believe acts fairly in the interests of both myself as landlord and my tenants. Issues with my property are communicated to me quickly and I feel I can trust Donna’s judgement and experience in helping to resolve problems.

I have no hesitation in recommending Romans as property managers and special thanks to Donna, particularly recently with lots of things cropping up.

Like many, I've had a very tough year and to make things worse I have had a lot of problems with the flat that I am renting. However, I have been very lucky to have a wonderful property manager in Lisa Fazal who has been exceptional. She has been superb in correspondence with myself and my landlord - polite, friendly, fast-acting and understanding. Romans have been excellent throughout my tenancy and I have always felt at ease asking them for help, guidance and support.

Having rented my apartment through Romans for several years, I have been very happy with their professional service and wrote a review which reflects that. Since then, I put the apartment on the market and am just about to complete on the sale. I recently realised that I had not downloaded my Statement Summary for the previous 2 tax years and so I requested copies from Donna-Marie Brant, my former rental agent. She replied immediately and not only sent me the information I required, but added in details for the current year. Excellent service as I have come to expect from Romans.

We have been dealing with Donna-Marie Brant for a good number of years now on our properties and always had a very good working relationship with her.
Donna is honest, professional, polite and sorts out any problems that may sometimes occur.

My 5 star rating goes purely to Lisa Fazal whom i have had the pleasure of working with for the last 13 years! She has been such a great support with a really tough situation and has even been a kind ear to listen when all i wanted to do was find someone who would listen to the problems! Nothing is too much trouble for Lisa and she truly goes above and beyond. For me, she is the gem of Romans. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
