Had a wonderful time on the China Cultural Tour. This was an exceptionally well-organised trip, taking in the key sights of Shanghai, Xian and Beijing. The guide was incredibly helpful and had time for everyone; the food was splendid; and it was great to have a holiday where everything went smoothly - no hiccups. Very much recommended - and what a bargain price!

We’ve just returned from our China trip…….it was absolutely amazing. Hotels brilliant, Hu Lei tour guide was exceptional and made this tour unforgettable for us all. We loved every minute and look forward to many 'ore trips with RSD

The trip organised by RSD Travel was a well organised and enjoyable experience. The guide had a good understanding of the country and spoke good English.
The hotels and food were also delightful.
The second week in the hotel was excellent with trips if needed.

We went to China on a fully guided tour. All went well at the airports. Our guide was informative, patient and had a good sense of humour.
We saw lots of fabulous places and also our guide had a few additional trips you could go on. My favourite was the visit to the Great Wall of China and my partner was blown away with the terracotta warriors. We saw so much that we would not have visited had we tried to do this trip alone.
All hotels and the river boat were spotless and we enjoyed great food too.
A trip of a lifetime.

I have a trip booked with RSD to Dubai in November and have paid a deposit.Because of the uncertainty in th which raises at area my wife did not want to travel there.I called RSD and asked if I could switch to another trip.The rep told me that I could but only to certain larger trips and that we could transfer the deposit. I called back to arrange this a month later and was told that it was not possible and I had to cancel the Dubai trip and lose my deposit.The company renaiged on a decision that I was initially given which raises an issue of trust with this company.

This trip to Istanbul and the Aegean was my fifth trip as a solo female travelling with RSD and I cannot rate them highly enough. I find them to be excellent value for money. Every trip that I have been on has been so well orchestrated and the guides have been exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Deniz, the guide on this trip was amazing and so very kind, it was privilege to spend time with him. He was so informative and is so obviously proud of his country, it's history and culture.

Just came back from Portugal, it was a great tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food, rooms, attractions and transport were all fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. The trip was value for money and I'm looking forward to my next journey!

I went on the norwegian fjords trip.
1. There was no rep at the airport to supervise transfer. One couple was left behind.
2. We had paid for the best upgrade cabin with twin beds. We got a cabin with a double bed that occupied all the available space.
3. My letter of complaint has not merited a reply.
4. I feel at the very least we should have had a refund for the upgrade.

I will not travel with this company again.

Easy to book the holiday either online or by phone, with very helpful and friendly booking staff. The holiday went smoothly throughout, Aegean airlines were a revelation - on time, super friendly staff and food and drink provided free of charge! Excellent guide and driver, fantastic places to see and visit but with leisure time also built in to the programme so you never felt overtired or rushed. Hotels were of a good and acceptable standard, especially the second week where the hotel gave us a free upgrade from a standard room to an executive sea view room, which was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend this trip and such good value for money.

This was my 2nd holiday with RSD in 3 years with friends. This one on Apr 14-28th this year was to Rhodes/Turkey/& back to Rhodes for the last week. I thoroughly enjoyed all the changes going to different locations and hotels. Our last hotel in Turkey was my favourite.
The 2nd week we went back to Rhodes. The hotel was a little isolated and the beach had intensive hurricane damage so we all stayed by our hotels nice pool and bar with a wonderful and friendly waiter.
Some of us went out on bus trips to Lindos and Old Town Rhodes which was very enjoyable at our own leisure. Our visit to these places the 1st week was time limiting as we had full day to day schedules. We had a lovely, fun, cultural tour guide on 1st week who was called Rosie.  She was amazingly knowledgeable about all the places and made them really interesting and fun. She also shared with us on the coach journeys about each place and more before we arrived. And also whilst we were at the sites.
Rosie was very helpful and made our holiday well worth it. She joined us at mealtimes, spending time with different tables each evening. So special. Im not sure if other tour guides did this. We were very lucky to have such a lovely tour guide. Best coach as we all got on and had fun and learnt a lot. This is my fave part of these tours...making new friends and relating to one another. We keep in touch when we are back in our homes.
We had a beautiful white coach and nice driver, who was very friendly and smiley.
The holiday is great value for money. I really enjoyed the food in both countries. Hotel staff were very helpful and cheerful, as was our tour guide Rosie.
Myself and friends are looking forward to go with RSD in 2027

The worst holiday ever. They lied, lied and lied. Refused to let me take a mobility scooter, then charge me to rent a wheel chair. Hotels were horrendous, wine was served in cheap plastic mugs, they had no one to wash the glasses! 1 star facilities and service, not 4 star. Paper cups in bedroom, china cups not allowed, filthy showers, cracked glass on the balcony. Both miles away from destinations, it was a walking trip with coach rides and there was nothing luxury about it. Most of the excursions we paid for were free to get in. The guides spoke Italian with a very heavy accent and the radio's did not work so you learnt nothing. No choice in meals, went vegetarian as the meat was so dodgy. They were best described as "school dinners ". Flights were totally unnecessary dog legs Heathrow to Rome via Frankfurt and Zurich. On arrival got left for over an our waiting for another flight. Trip to Pompei, the guide was over an hour late and then the party had to go in via the back (cheaper) entrance. I was told it was not suitable for me to walk so missed the entire thing. I am taking it up with the company as they broke the Equality Act 2010. Every other person on the trip said they were, at the very least, seriously unhappy.

Another RSD trip done and dusted. This time it was China and it didn’t disappoint. We had a fantastic time and there were so many high points. Rogin our guide, couldn’t have been more helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and was obviously very proud of his country. Hotels were great and the whole tour was such an amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic trip to Rhodes and Turkey. Amazing hotels, food and great company on our tour. Totally recommend it.

Very well organised trip, with attention to detail. Great guide and overall experience(though buffet dinners quite monotonous)

Definitely good value for money including paying for the gourmet package and optional extra tours. The itinerary was very full and interesting with visits to many historical and cultural sites. Through no fault of RSD or Sun Express Airways, our flight was delayed resulting in a late arrival to the hotel in Antalya. Instead of the early start required to set off for Capadoccia, Abdullah, our excellent guide re-arranged our itinerary to see Antalya on day two rather than day seven. The journey to Capadoccia, although long, was made easy by frequent interesting stops. Capadoccia was unique, with its unusual rock formations and we were lucky enough to see it from a hot air balloon. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, it was a good group of people and we had a good safe coach driver (Kansu) and our competetent and informative guide. Highly recommended!

We recently went with RSD Travel to Turkey (Cappadocia). We opted for all meals & the cultural tour.
We visited many historical sites between the coast & Cappadocia, visiting hillside houses, caravanserais, Mosques & a beautiful museum.
We had a boat trip along the River Manaugat to the Mediterranean & on another occasion had a beach restaurant meal whilst overlooking the sea.
We also had the pleasure of seeing the Whirling Dervishes.
Our guide was excellent, informing us of Turkish culture & looking after us.
A most enjoyable holiday with a company we hopeto travel with again.

This was our second trip with RSD and the value for money on both trips was very good.The hotels we stayed in were rated from good to excellent and the coach travel was okay but sometimes too long for we in our mid 80's.
For the final relaxing week we stayed at the beautiful Aria Claros in the Izmir area. The room was excellent and the food was really good. However...I suffer from Caeliac disease and become quite ill if I eat anything containing wheat or barley. None of the vast selection of food available had any labels describing what it consisted of. Each time I had to find the Chef to ask if it contained any of the prohibited ingredients. A large area was set aside for specialist dietary foods but in the week we spent there it remained bare at every meal time. Following frequent meetings with the food area managers I was finally handed one small package of gluten free bread which lasted for one breakfast. I actually managed to loose several pounds of weight over the week so that was maybe a benefit.
I have come to the conclusion that if you can generally eat anything then Turkey is a great place to visit.
If you have any food allergies then stick with Western Europe where GF is a known and acceptable issue.

My trip to Rhodes with RSD was both enlightening and enjoyable, as well as educational, thanks to the selected tour.
It was a mix of a very busy first week exploring the local sites and Places to visit, along with the second week relaxing at the Sol resort with time to discover the area on your own.
Our tour guide, Suat, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our tour. It is well worth booking the extra excursions.

Arrived in Rhodes and on the coach was told to speed things up they would collect the tourist tax prior to reaching the hotel which was £10 per night as it was the price for a 4 star hotel. When we got to the hotel some of the guests checked and it was actually a 3 star hotel which should cost £5 per night so we all asked for a refund of the difference! Our rep Rosie kept telling us we were in a great location in Rhodes Town as many complained about the state of the rooms. We had a stained shower curtain in a tiny shower so it stuck to you, horrible. The next day off we went to Lindos. On arrival we made our way to the little square and as Rosie was telling us the history one of our group suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing. Rosie was useless and my brother in law had to step in a give CPR whilst we waited for emergency services. We found a defib but that wasn't working! There was a medical centre there but it took forever for even those to turn up. My relative was giving CPR for over 20 minutes when the medical centre team arrived who were also useless. It was a fiasco, they didn't give oxygen or anything just put him on a stretcher, not strapped in and his arms and legs kept falling off. His wife was told she couldn't go with him but we all complained and they let her go but nobody with her to translate. The reps should be first aid trained as they are usually dealing with older people. Sadly Vincent died, it was a very traumatic experience but they just carried on with the trip. The cultural part of our trip was great, loved the history and very informative. The hotels not up to 4 star rating except the last one we stayed at in Turkey. We kept asking where we were staying on the 2nd week on kept getting fobbed off. Rosie had hinted about tips for her and the coach driver which we would have done anyway. Lots of us all put our money in an envelope, one for her and one for the driver so people gave what they could afford. When we gave Rosie the envelope she went mad saying that is not how they do things there and was so rude, just throwing the envelope down on her seat. Tips are given out the goodness of the heart and should be appreciated which was not the case with Rosie. If I knew this was her attitude she would not have had a tip from me! 2 of the coaches including ours were dropped at Afandou bay resort. Nice rooms, brilliant staff but oh my god, the food was the same all week, if I never see spaghetti bolognaise again I'd be happy. This should never be classed as 4 star, the restaurant was like a school canteen, work was still being done on the outside area of the canteen so not really a relaxing dining experience. What made it worse wasthat the others went to the Cosmopolitan and their food was fantastic. Our all inclusive which we paid for didn't even include bottled water for our room, we had to buy it. All in all loved the history but not the rest so would never book with them again

Well organised trip with RSD to Rhodes & The Aegean. Our guides in both Turkey and Rhodes (Michael and Volken) were excellent - very knowledgeable, concerned for the groups welfare and provided an interesting commentary. Most of the hotels were of excellent quality and provided excellent food. If there was a negative, it was the very early departure from the hotel (04:30) to catch our flight home.
