Sash Window Preservation Reviews

All the craftsmen were professional and obviously took pride in their work. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of work. There is one window I am not happy with as it does not open fully but I am waiting to hear from the company who will hopefully resolve this issue.
I would like to mention that Richard and Nicholas and Daryl and Alex, the two teams who worked here were all great. Daryl and Alex really tried hard to resolve all issues.
Update:
Paul and Gary resolved the issue, yeah! Window now works properly!

Turned up on time, lovely friendly craftsmen, beautiful job on the windows, clean and tidy (you could barely tell they'd been here when they left - except for the beautiful new windows, obvs)

Very efficient. Pleased with them

Really happy with the service from start to finish. We had a small but tricky repair needed to a sill on a sash window. Paul gave us good advice and did excellent work with minimal disruption. Communication was clear throughout.

Fantastic - Daryl and Alex were both so professional and polite, and they did an amazing job.

Really great service start to finish. Jack B and Shay fitted the windows, a mixture of replacement glass and new sashes. They were friendly and efficient, charmed my mother, and left the place spotless when they were finished. Would strongly recommend. Tina & Tom, Cambridge

Sash Window Preservation recently installed double glazing in some of our existing windows: four sash windows, two casement windows and two doors.
We were very happy with the way the work was carried out and impressed by the professionalism of the team, during both the measuring up and the installation itself.

Good communication and excellent craftsmanship from Alex & Dan.

We contacted Sash Window Preservation after they completed our neighbours house. Excellent communication, fair price and Nick and Dan arrived as promised. Charming chaps with excellent skills who did a super job and tidied (and hoovered) each day before leaving. We could not recommend this firm more highly. Truly 5 Star!

Adam and Scott replaced most of my windows in Victorian house with timber sash windows with slim double glazing. Really impressive job. They did it quickly, and efficiently, cleaning up every day, and taking away all the old windows etc. The windows look great and function really well. It's not cheap, for sure, but as they say, you pay for what you get.

The doors and window installed are really excellent quality: worth the wait for our bespoke design. Alex and Daryl responsible for installation were friendly, tidy and efficient. Will use this company again.

Alex and Nick were great. Efficient, friendly and conscientious.

All original sash replaced with timber sash windows with slim double glazing. Really impressed as the windows replicated what was there before meaning I didn't need planning permission as we are in a conservation area. They did a great job and the windows look great, function really well and are much more effective in terms of almost eliminating condensation which had been a big problem.

Alex & Daryl from sash window preservation recently finished draught-proofing our sash windows & french doors in our Victorian basement flat. They did a fantastic job, providing really high quality workmanship, a knowledgeable & friendly service, & great attention to detail. The work made a noticeable difference to the temperature of the flat & the draughts coming through the gaps. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to restore their windows. Thanks again for all your work

Arrived punctually, were polite and considerate, did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to use their service again.

Alex and Daryl did a superb job refurbishing our century-old sash windows. The windows are now restored — function perfectly and look beautiful. We are completely delighted. Their dedicated skill and hard work was matched by a professional and friendly approach. From first to last — initial contact, home visits, informative tour of the workshops, admin support through to final installation — the helpful attitude and attention to detail of the Sash Window Preservation team has been consistently considerate, conscientious and caring. We cannot recommend them too highly.

Fabulous professional job. We cannot rate the quality of work highly enough. Dan with Nick1 and Nick2 we’re friendly, efficient and extremely tidy and lovely guys to have around

Excellent communication from start to finish. Jack and Shay who came and fitted our windows, one of which is a bay window, over two days, were friendly and approachable. From the quotation stage, through to fitting, it has been a pleasant and straightforward process. They also left their work space clean and tidy! Windows are fab and look great. We would highly recommend this company to others.

Excellent service from start to finish. We had seven sash window double glazed replacements installed by Nick and Gary. Nick arrived on the first day and immediately impressed us with his confidence and friendly and professional manner. He and Gary both worked hard and to a high standard. They were well organised and worked cleanly and tidily throughout. They were also pleasant people who we were very happy to have in our home. SWP were recommended to us by neighbours and we have not hesitated in telling friends how pleased we are with the results. Thanks to all at SWP!

Alex and Daryl have been excellent, great job, very professional, clean and tidy. My windows now work! Thanks to Alex and Daryl. Would definitely use you again and recommend
