Sash Window Preservation Reviews

The team arrived on time, were very polite and approachable, and tried to keep the disruption in the house to a minimum.

The windows were installed in the time they had estimated and Alex Shay came and discussed a couple of issues to ensure we were happy with the work. They did a great job.

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that one of the windows had been missed at the scoping stage and had not been made. This is now in hand and will be fitted in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you so much Alex and Nick.

Rococo, sister company to Sash Window Preservation, have just painted my window frames, following the great job SWP did renovating and double-glazing my windows, and I really could not be happier with the standard of the work. Not only this, but Emma provided outstanding customer care, arranging for the work to be carried out while I was away, including the pick up and drop off of keys to a family member as I was already on holiday when Emma emailed to arrange a date for the work to start. I arrived home to find the work completed to my specifications and the flat as clean as a whistle! Highly recommended.

After draught proofing and refurbishing the sash windows in 2017 we asked them back for secondary windows to make it more energy efficient as we couldn't get the necessary permissions for double glazing. Gary did the measuring and he and Matthew installed the windows today. Their work ethics and workmanship are outstanding and we highly recommend them for all sash window jobs.

Three replacement sash windows expertly installed by Jack,Adam and Alex. The windows are perfect and look identical to the original sash windows but are now double glazed and two have solar glass which will keep the south facing rooms cool in summer. Thanks for a fantastic job!

Sash Window Preservation were exceptional from start to finish. The quoting process was thorough and informative, with plenty of choice and no pressure to do more or less than we wanted. They’re clearly in demand as there was a wait for the work to be done but it was well worth it. Alex and Daryl were brilliant the entire time they were on site; diligent, tidy, excellent work ethic and the quality of craftsmanship first rate. Moreover, unlike many tradespeople they did not utter a single word of complaint or bemoan prior work that had be done! We would not hesitate to recommend them and hope to have them back to do the remainder of the house in the not too distant future.

Very happy with the communication prior to the work being carried out. Dan and Nick did an excellent job replacing two sash windows and double glazing an existing sash, they were polite and considerate and left the house spotless.

Excellent customer service from a very friendly and professional company. From the quotation stage, all the way through to fitting, it has been a pleasant and straightforward experience. Windows look great and we'd highly recommend SWP to others.

Beautifully crafted work.
Huge improvement in heat and sound reduction. Could not recommend highly enough on period dash windows. Thank you.

We had a few doors draught proofed by this company. Very easy to deal with, professional and left the house very tidy. Going to be using them again on some future projects. Thanks again.

We had 5 x new casement and 3 x new sash windows put into an extension that we had done last year.
Due to this being an extension time frames from our side changed multiple times and Sash window preservation were very understanding and were able to fit around our schedule.
We found the guys that came to site very friendly and professional and were very happy that they left the site clean and tidy.
A year on and the windows are still working perfectly and we would 100% use this company again and recommend them.

Amazing service and experience with SWP all the way from quoting to completion of the project.
Ricky’s professional advice and knowledge were absolutely outstanding and when we came to refurbishing my grade II listed property Alex and Paul were professional and careful in handling the windows. The works were completed in the time agreed and they left the property immaculate. I do not hesitate to recommend SWP to anyone looking to refurbish or replace old windows.

Extremely pleased with the new sashes. The guys have done a brilliant job installing them.

Clean, tidy and professional workmanship

SWP did a great job replacing our old sash window with a new double glazed sash window - the job was done professionally, timely and they left the room clean and tidy. We’ll definitely be getting them back for future window replacements.

Will not reply to calls and emails. Over 15 repairs later, now having to go to court to hopefully get the issues sorted

Very efficient, skilled, and tidy.
Very pleased.

Very professional team. Almost complete clear up of working area.

NSWP renovated 16 sash windows for us and installed slim double glazing units in these. This included moving windows to new locations and making new ones to match the existing.
They came out to visit us several times before we started which was very helpful as it allowed us to decide how to complete the project.
The work was completed to a very high standard and they were very professional.
There were a couple of mistakes in the finish of some of the windows eg. clear glass put in a window we had expected was going to be glazed. However, they soon put this right.
Overall we were extremely impressed with them. We are very lucky that they are based in Norwich where we too are based.
We certainly would use them again for future projects and recommend them highly.

Three draughty sashes in Victorian house now enormously improved. Helpful, prompt service and good advice about one of the three sashes, where the lower part did need complete replacing. New part works really well and blends beautifully with the older part. Thank you!

A great service. The team who fitted the windows were absolutely fantastic - so nice and professional, and did everything with a lot of care. Really happy with the end result - everything is of a very high quality. It did take quite a long time from the quote to getting the work done, but I think they're just busy because they're so good!
