Ordered new tap aerators
After doing some research I thought I would try and order some new tap aerators as the ones I have are heavily limescaled. Website came up via google searching on the aerator I wanted so I ordered 3. They arrived just 2 days later and all fitted fine!

As my original was faulty, I ordered a Type One 7.5 metre "granny charger" cable for my Mitsubishi Outlander, costing over 30% LESS than any other supplier was charging for a 5 metre one. I didn't pay extra for next day delivery, but by 2:30 the next day, it was here. Beautifully packaged in it's own little bag, it worked perfectly straight out of the box - and, to my eyes, seems to be better quality and finish than the factory original. SMCC supplied a great product, at a great price and with great service - I heartily recommend them!

Moved home and needed some decent light…
Moved home and needed some decent light bulbs. Saw they had bags you can pop in the loo to reduce water usage when flushing so snagged one of those also. Delivery was super quick and the bulbs are great!

Shower has non compatible with standard shower head. This was not made clear in the website before purchase. After speaking with the first customer advisor I was horrified at being told I had to pay to return the item and there was no other option. Then after writing this I was contact by Craig, and he really was passionate about customer service. He sent me an alternative shower head and a return pre paid envelope to return the unsuitable one; and I received fitted and returned the old one all within a day or 2. Everyone should heed Craigs example. Life would be so much easier if customer service was as great at Craig's. Well done Craig!

Helping the environment and my wallet
I'd seen the Grohe kitchen tap elsewhere, but appreciated the SaveMoneyCutCarbon description which confirmed why this was an environmentally-friendly choice.
The price was also at the lower end of options on the web, so it made financial sense and I was happy to support a company with green credentials.

Misleading product listings
I recently bought a showerhead which was listed as being 230mm from savemoneycutcarbon. On the product detail page I landed on from Google a square head was presented as expected, but on arrival it was actually rectangular because the photo listed used was taken from the longest dimension and the perspective of the shorter side was not apparent.
This was misleading and has resulted in being lumbered with an ineffective shower head which doesn’t cover the body (and I’m a medium). The fact that it was rectangular should have been listed in the title and at the top of the description. Alternatively a photo or diagram which showed the rectangular shape of the head would also have cleared it up. Instead the dimensions were hidden at the bottom of of a very long product info accordion and within the specification accordion.
I phoned and spoke to them, despite agreeing that the head looked square in the photo they showed no interest in updating the misleading listing or an order of an alternative square head.
Arrogant company to be avoided.
