Ann at Savvi in Olney recommended this holiday after we gave her details of our likes and dislikes. This is the second time Ann has booked a holiday for us, the first one in Lanzarote, which was also amazing, and ticked the boxes of all of our requests. For this holiday Ann could not have selected anything more perfect. Everything about this holiday was stunning and luxurious, especially for a couple, but I think families would enjoy it as much also.
Airport transfer were ready and on time.
The hotel is stunning, and nothing is too much for the staff, we also enjoyed some pamper time in the beautiful and relaxing spa.
There are plenty of areas around the pool to relax, as well as several seating areas inside and a covered terrace for lunch.
The breakfast buffet included everything you could think of and more, even a section for mimosa’s and Bloody Mary.
The bedroom was huge, we had a garden view, but we could still see a lot of the sea, as you can see in the photos.
The view from the hotel out across the sea is outstanding, one of the best views by far.
There is a train from Cascais to Lisbon, which takes just under an hour, the coastal route is very scenic, it takes you past all of the beaches, which helped us decide which beach to go to for a day.
Cascais has everything and more, restaurants, bars, beaches, a castle, water sports and walks.
I would highly recommend Cascais as a holiday destination, as well as the hotel.

Savvi travel does what it says, a trustworthy helpful and experienced company with great staff who are always willing to go the extra mile. Georgie has once again been brilliant in helping us book a short holiday and we have welcomed her expertise and advice.

We have used Savvi several times, the latest being for our big trip of a lifetime - 8 weeks to Australia.
The team spent time talking with us about our requirements, before then taking time to plan a detailed itinerary. They were then happy to tweak as required and nothing is too much trouble.
I also love the fact that their shop is on my local high street, and I can pop in to speak with them whenever I need.

Following our initial enquiry for an extended family of ten winter sports trip, Savvi Travel worked very quickly and effectively to source us a package that ticks all our boxes.

I have used Savvi's Hitch in office for many trips, including a multi-destinational trip to India and both Georgie and Allison have always been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions and queries with a smile. I will continue to use them on the many trips I am planning in the future and would recommend them to friends and family

Ann in the Olney office arranged a very enjoyable stay at the Excelsior Grand in Valetta, Malta. I visited the office on a Friday looking for 6 nights leaving the following Thursday to somewhere interesting within about 3 hours flight time. We discussed alternatives and by Ann asking questions and listening to my responses we arrived first at Malta and then Valetta. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable and just what I was looking for.
I will definitely return to Savvi, Olney.

Anne, at the Olney office, sourced our first trip to New Zealand and certainly gave us a great taster 3 week adventure. We couldn't fault the itinerary. We saw mountains and lakes, hobbits and glowworms. We jet boated in Queenstown and high top tree walked on suspension bridges in Rotorua as well as being introduced to Hell's Gate hot springs. We enjoyed a Maori dinner and show too. Christchurch and Auckland were both great in their own unique ways and a walk around the observation deck in the Sky Tower is a must, the views are spectacular. Two weeks on South Island wasn't quite enough time to do everything we wanted but it means we will have to go back for another visit.
If you go you need to factor in the distances not just the plane trip and you may want to consider breaking up the flights. We did it in one go and took a day or so to catch up time wise, 2 full days in Auckland helped. The driving is fine as they drive on the 'right' side of the road but when it's 200k between petrol stations and 180k to the next roundabout it puts the size of the country into perspective!
I would certainly use Savvi Travel to book future long haul trips, they were excellent

Have used Savvi for a few years now. So, as always, a great service was provided. Ann went out of her way to find a holiday to Barbados for 2024, albeit I had given up the ghost, of the right hotel/resort being found. She pulled out the stops… so the Lingard family are very happy! But, we’ve still got our 2023 holiday to look forward to first! Again, all sorted by Ann and Savvi 😊

Right from the first visit Savvi made the process of planning and booking our holiday straight-forward. They prepared a full itinerary for our trip to the US within a few days and responded to all of our questions efficiently.
The service was friendly and responsive and we now have an exciting holiday to look forward to.

On our first visit we were not sure where we wanted to go but Donna was very helpful and gave us a few destinations to consider. On our second visit we booked one of the holidays recommended by Donna. Delighted with the friendly service we received and will certainly recommend the shop to anyone.

Last summer we weren't ready to go to back to the "Costa del Sol" so when Jersey dropped all its Covid restrictions we needed a travel agent to sort out a trip as don't have Internet at home. I had walked past Saavi in Hitchin many times although we live in Stevenage. So we booked the trip with Georgie who's knowledge made it an easy task. Now we have booked again this time with Julie to go back to the "Costa" in September. TONY.
