Very helpful in helping with fabrics and leathers. As it is a very New store I thought the staff were quite good they just need to find their feet and get comfortable with what they are doing which I'm sure will happen when they settle in.

I bought a sofa from the Lincoln shop initially but then changed my mind, went to the Grimsby shop to swap this with no issues, we were served in Lincoln by a man called Dave, just want to say what a lovely man he was, I have a son with a learning disability who is non verbal, Dave spoke with him which doesn’t always happen and my son fell, Dave helped straight away, very friendly, helpful and professional, thanks Dave !

sofa sagging not 12 months old yet I rang and complained was told I had not cared for it correctly,I said I wasn't happy and was told to get some legal advice, SCS were no help at all what a disgrace

Lincoln sales team were great. They listened to our requirements then pointed us in the right direction. No hard sell at all. We were given space to decide but there was always help available. We had been looking all over but wished we gone straight there.

The worst service ever, staff named Brian is very rude and having very bad attitude towards the customers and when we bought a sofa and explained that it may not be gone through the door and he said don’t worry we will sort it out. When the sofa came in it won’t fit so now he is blaming that it’s our fault and he can’t come and see our property.very bad service and very disappointing.Now he says that we can’t cancel the product & we ha have waited almost 3 months for the product to arrive.

Excellent product, far better than the other furniture shops I had just visited.
The delivery date was chosen and I was contacted the day before with an approximate delivery time.
The day of the delivery I was emailed the drivers name and an exact time of delivery.
The driver then contacted me to confirm this time.
The furniture was delivered, assembled and wrapping removed and taken.
I would highly recommend and will definitely use again.

The delivery was due on Saturday, but unfortunately the van broke down, the driver contacted me straight away and Tuesday was scheduled for delivery. Everything went like clockwork, the driver rang me & told me they would be with me in an hour, which they were. It was excellent service.

Terrible company and badly made sofas with structural faults. After 2 years springs came through the thin lining. Spoke to an upholsterer online and showed them pics of sofa and lining hasn’t been done properly. His words (I used to manufacture sofas. We put double layer of webbing over the spring clips then a heavy weight polyester insulator over the springs. Like dacron but heavily compressed. I would never use a non stretch platform fabric like they have done there.
The main problem though is that the platform fabrics are fastened level with the springs at the sides. They should be fastened around 2 to 3 inches below to allow the spring to sag. On a lot of these modern corner sets the platform is like a drum skin so you are sitting on a taught fabric. The springs are not functioning. No wonder they tear) Upholsterer’s words!
They must be cheaply made. Lining is like cheap felt material and should have an extra layer over springs. It just looks like weak felt and a bit of stuffing below it covering springs. When I bought it I thought felt lining didn’t look strong but thought it’s SCS so must be ok. 🤦I’m the only one who uses it. No kids so no-one jumps on it. It’s covered with sofa covers to keep clean though material is bobbling. SCS say to have one of their inspectors I have to pay £ 75 but other SCS customers have alleged they’re biased towards SCS and written reports that weren’t accurate. So they had to get comprehensive independent reports which have said the opposite to SCS provided inspectors and they’ve won through small claims court. I don’t want to waste good money after bad on potentially alleged biased inspectors. SCS in their own terms and conditions say their sofas should last at least 7 years. I certainly wouldn’t have bought it if I thought it wasn’t going to last 3 years. Trading standards say sofas should last at least 7-10 years.
I’ve had cheap sofas that have never done this and lasted years. In fact I’ve never had this problem with any other sofa just thought I would treat myself to a suite that would last for years. Thought SCS did quality stuff. How wrong I was. Wish I’d gone for cheap one elsewhere. Now will have to go through Citizens Advice/ Trading standards route now. Sigh!

When i ordered this at the beginning of November and all Lincoln store said was you will have to wait for a phone call thanks for nothing

I ordered a sofa and chair in green leather and was delivered it in grey.
After numerous phone calls to Customer Services and another trip to Store they wouldn't accept any responsibility. I was told I could take the matter as high as I wanted to but the answer would still be the same.
I have been left with a product I didn't order and no support from the company.
This has been a disappointing and hugely stressful experience for me.
I didn't expect this service from a reputable retailer.

A big thank you to Jayne in the Lincoln store today who gave such helpful advice when I was looking for a sofa bed. Jayne was aware I probably wasn’t going to be able to make a purchase today but still gave me her time and expertise in helping find the right model and size! I just need to convince the husband now!
