We walked round with no sales pressure
When we did ask about a settee Glenn was more than helpful checking to see if we could order 2 of the same settee.
He guided us upstairs where there was more choice and he wasn’t wrong. We ended up with a 3 seater and a 2 seater which we liked but was unsure whether it would go through the front door.
Glenn explained that the backs are clipped in and took them off for us to show the difference when they were off. We did end up buying these and even then Glenn was more than polite and courteous.

Great store if you’re needing a sofa quickly, some great bargains as well. Nothing was too much trouble for Yvette who even stayed late to assist us with our purchase. 100% recommend.

Lucy today was so lovely and brilliant. I’m 18 buying a sofa for the first time and she wasn’t pushy or frustrated with my questions and explained everything simply for me to understand and was so friendly and got rid of all my worries about buying a sofa. Got rejected at first for credit being too low and she asked her colleague (Im not sure of his name but he was just as nice and friendly) who found an alternative for me to buy the sofa in monthly payments. Overall super happy with purchase and service from Lucy and her colleague 😊

Ordered a beautiful sofa on Saturday, got it by Wednesday. Our whole experience went quickly and smoothly.
I have to give a special mention to the two guys who moved the sofa in for us- we live in a block of flats and they carried it all the way to the top floor and through the tight staircase and doorways- thanks so much!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my Nanwho recently came in to purchase a new sofa.

She had a bit of a saga with a previous order elsewhere – wrong fabric, wrong style, and it didn’t even fit through the door. Needless to say, she was feeling quite stressed and unsure about choosing a replacement.

Yvette was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She listened carefully to what my Nan needed, took her time to guide her through the options, and helped her find something that was both comfortable and suitable for her home. My Nan felt genuinely supported and looked after, rather than rushed or pressured.

It made a world of difference to her, and she left feeling confident and relieved. She’s now happily awaiting delivery of her new sofa, and she’s very grateful to Yvette for making the process smooth and reassuring.

Thank you so much for the kindness, patience, and professionalism. It meant a great deal to her (and to the rest of us who’ve lived through the Great Sofa Debacle of 2025).

Tim and Yvette were great. Really helpful and happy to spend time discussing options and make recommendations. A real pleasure to deal with. Delivery was a bit hit and miss though. Although within timescale advised, arranged delivery date was changed twice at short notice, and then did not arrive at agreed time (early). Which was slightly problematic as arrangements had been made to remove window for delivery and had to be re arranged at short notice. However delivery guys were again helpful and managed to call back to get in. Would be 5stars but for the delivery issues.

Today I popped into the Nottingham ScS to just have a look at sofas as I’m purchasing my first home. They had an extremely wide selection of sofas and chairs. All the staff seemed very smiley and friendly. We had a lovely gentleman approach us Brad . He made us feel very welcomed and comfortable he also sold me on the most gorgeous corner sofa which could be delivered in 3 days !! The service we received was exceptional Brad is an asset to the ScS team.

From the initial meeting with Brad in -store to delivery and installation, it was absolutely 1st class customer service.*****
The only small problem was the final time slot notification which did not happen. We were advised in advance that delivery would take place between 7am to 12 mid-day but this was not narrowed down to a more accurate time slot, as promised. The only notification on the day was made half an hour before arrival at 10.45 am. This resulted in me having to get up at 6.30 am [ retired ] to be ready for a delivery from 7am as advised. Actual delivery was at 11.15 giving me an almost 5 hour wait??
But overall excellent customer service with Brad instore and the 3 delivery guys were extreemley friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble.

After a bad experience the first time we had an Amazing delivery service the second time, they both were very polite and thorough, they tried there hardest not to scuff the walls and didn't. They put it all together and took the packaging with them. Didn't catch their names but Thankyou to the 2 gents for being lovely and getting it in for us

We came upon this outlet quite by chance and boy were we glad we did! From the minute we walked in the door, when we were welcomed and our questions answered fully, and without any 'pushiness' which would have sent us straight back out, we were treated to expert, professional, friendly customer service by Bradley, and nothing was too much trouble. We were very satisfied with our eventual purchase, and Bradley explained exactly how to set everything up, and even helped us get the heavy, solid chair into our car, having brought it out to the collection area while we drove round the block. As you can probably tell, we were 100 percent satisfied with the service, and the all singing dancing chair is perfect too.
