I ordered a single leather chair in December, which had to be made at the factory and eventually turned up in February. Having paid over £1200 for the chair i have still not received the care kit which I paid for and the quality of the chair is poor. I have complained about the thin leather and loose padding underneath, which is aleady leaving the arms and back looking badly creased and pitted. Despite continued complaints to the showroom manager and emails to customer care, I have had no response whatsoever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I called the customer support number yesterday after I had finally received a voicemail message from them.
As previously experienced, after being held in a queue for 2 hours I was disconnected!

The two young men (Chris & Todd) who delivered my furniture were excellent. The furniture was very difficult to deliver because of the narrow doorways in my home. They did it beautifully and were very courteous and professional

Work allowed me leave for delivery of sofa when mine was due only for the delivery service to go to 3 other drops and pick up the sofa they forgot for my delivery , had loss of earnings at work due to the carelessness of my order being processed and collected properly , will not be using scs again , absolute shambles of a service .

Everything was okay with delivery, timings were perfect, seemed to be polite gentleman.

However, on the whole it was a disappointing experience after being given an estimated delivery date of the 17th February, with dates changing 3 times and finally having it delivered on the 1st April. But that was an issue with the company and not a fault on the delivery men.

Continuous updates on arrival time kept us informed which was really appreciated. The crew were very polite and professional at all times even though it was the first day on the job for one of them. Had to take the sofa bed apart in order to get it into the house and this was done quickly and efficiently with the sofa reassembled and put exactly where we wanted it. We couldn’t have had a better team. Well done.

This is our 2nd suite we have bought from SCS at Lakeside Scunthorpe, there are so many lovely suites to choose from and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We eventually found what we wanted and there are plenty of ways to pay, we chose to pay half now and half just before delivery. When our suite arrived the 2 delivery guys were brilliant, they saw we had a new carpet and was very careful not to mark it or the paintwork, they quickly assembled the sofa and as it and the chair are electric recliners they tested them then cleaned up all the packaging before leaving. It goes without saying we are very happy both with the suite and the first class service from the staff at SCS and the delivery men, thank you, I recommend this company to anyone looking for new furniture for there home.

The purchasing was easy and the salesperson very patient whilst we chose our combination.
Time estimated for being ready was accurate.
The final payment was a nightmare because I wasn’t sent an option to pay online and the shortest phone queue was 143 mins (in 5 attempts). In the end I had to drive to the store to pay. This was the only part that could be better.
The delivery men were excellent. Communication was just as promised, arrived when they said and did an incredible job setting it all up.

I purchased a carpet for my stairs landing and hallway and was fitted December 2023, called them January 2025 as all the carpet has come off my stairs and it is all loose. I wa stood when we purchased this carpet it’s a lifetime guarantee if we bought grippers and underlay too, so we did. Called them and asked to refit the carpet, she told me the fitting is out of warranty so wasn’t there problem anymore, I explained I had already rang them 2X prior as the carpet had come loose in other areas, she essentially said it wasn’t their problem. I said I felt they had lied as it wasn’t a ‘lifetime’ guarantee and they should probably take more time to vet their carpet fitters as it’s been cut wonkey and had to be refitted multiple times. She said to send them a photo and they can see if it’s a carpet fault, I explained I don’t know how they will be able to tell over a photo but she said they could. I explained I am also heavily pregnant and have a 3 year old so when one of us falls down the stairs because of a carpet you sold me and refuse to fix, whose fault is it? Absolutely shocking customer service and will not be buying from them again and would not recommend
Have also spoken to another carpet fitted who has said it is poorly fitted, grippers too far apart and too thick underlay

We found a sofa we love in the sale and yes it was the show room sofa but the discount was amazing.
The sale team definitely new there information and on top extremely helpful. SCS Definitely does not stand for shitty crappy sofas. Only time will tell. I can’t wait for it to arrive
