NOBODY IS GETTING BACK TO ME. TERRIBLE SERVICE

I placed the order on 27th December in the Swindon Branch with my husband. The salesman who served us was called Alex Holman.

We came into the shop specifically to look at 1 sofa, the Savazza which was conveniently at the front of the showroom. We decided very quickly we wanted to purchase with the sofa and proceeded to choose the fabric. We explained that we wanted the exact sofa in the showroom (layout and colour) which was ordered however we did decide to change the colour.

We were going to order the sofa online however Alex did mention he received commission so we agreed to place the order with him in store (which I now wish I didn’t) . This took place with my husband. We left happy believing we would be receiving the exact sofa as shown in the showroom 10 weeks later.

The sofa arrived on Saturday and we immediately informed the delivery team it was incorrect. They refused to take it out of our house and said they did not work for SCS directly and cannot put it back on the van.

We contacted Alex who said it was the correct one we had ordered which it was not. It is NOT the same sofa that was in the showroom. It is NOT the same configuration as the sofa we sat on while placing the order with him. He has said there is nothing that can be done as it is the sofa that’s on the order confirmation. So he has ordered us a £3000 sofa incorrectly and not willing to do anything about it.

Furthermore, the quality of this sofa does not reflect the price and within just a few days it becoming increasingly saggy. There are also black marks on the back from the delivery team which we have taken photos of.

I have tried calling customer services several times where there are incredibly long waiting times (270 minutes). I press a number so they call me back which still has not happened.

I was happy to choose my 2 seat settee and the colour I chose. The young lady was very helpful and I had monthly payments. When the sale settees came up on my phone the same as the one I chose I was surprised to see the price of them. My daughter said it was too late to change anything. I wish it was but I take it that it must stay as it is. Thank your staff for her help D Davis.

Would like to say young lady who we are sorry but can't remember her name but she did buy a new car that morning, she very pleasant & polite & helpful & nothing was too much trouble.

Myself,my son and my daughter visited scs and we were welcomed with a loving smile and we were all offered a delicious cup of coffee on arrival.
One of the sales ladies called Charlotte explained to us that the sofa would be designed with any fabric or leather to our desire, to which we feel in love with a Italian leather 3 seater and 2 seater combo. Charlotte explained and demonstrated how the sofa worked. Due to falling in love with it we decided to go through with the purchase, and now we have our dream sofa on the way. We couldn’t thank Charlotte enough for helping us and we would definitely recommend scs to our friends and family.

Great service from Aaron and Shaun this morning with delivery of my new sofa. Polite and friendly. Set the sofa up and took away all the rubbish and left after making sure everything was working correctly.

I was looked after by a young man called Alex. He was really helpful with what I wanted. He took me round the store to choose what was comfort and style for me, and also discussed the choice of material and pattern I wanted to have. Completely thorough in what I need to add in for protection of my furniture and explained the guarantee process. He knows his job.

Brought two 2 seater’s and just missed the delivery date for before Christmas. We have had to go into the Swindon store with some questions as they have come to mind. We have met a few managers which all have been outstanding, helpful, friendly and kind. They also have two wonderful ladies working there who also have exactly the same attitude towards customers. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who are looking for sofa’s with a high quality and high quality of staff. I like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff again.
