I received a partial order
I received a partial order. I am missing SIX items and seamless customer service did not help AT ALL. they denied a credit, did not contact the restaurant to see if a bag was left behind or the driver to see if the bag was still with them. No refund, no reasoning just "I’m unable to process a refund or concession due to an unusual number of refunds or concessions you've received on this or previous accounts. I understand this is not the resolution that you are seeking; however, it is the only resolution that we are able to provide for you at this time. If there are no other persisting issues that I can assist you with, I will need to disconnect the chat." I called and received the same message. I've never ordered through this company and never will again so their statement of me receiving "an unusual amount of concessions" makes absolutely no sense. I caution you not lose your money as well. The total loss is approximately $70.

Twice now orders were never received by the restaurant, but the app would give 'your food is being prepared' and 'your food is out for delivery' updates that were complete and total lies. When I called the restaurant irate that my order never arrived, they said the never actually received the order to begin with. This makes the restaurant look bad, when it's Seamless's fault.

I will never use this service again. You have service fees, delivery fees and you hike the price of ordered items anywhere between 2 and 5 dollars. Screw you. On something that should've been around 28.00 dollars. I paid 40.00 dollars. Again screw you.

The delivery driver that never existed "OOOOH". Oh it's AI, that makes sense now. I had to go to the restaurant after waiting an hour past the promised time. The restaurant is an honorable restaurant, it's Seamless, that needs to fix itself.
Will not use Seamless again
We placed an order for delivery of a restaurant. After an hour we went to check on the order and found that Seamless cancelled the order because they claim the restaurant did not confirm in time. In the interim the driver went to the restaurant and they had two orders to pick up but he refused to take our order (3 dinners not cheap) claiming the order was cancelled. Infuriating that after an hour of waiting Seamless cancelled our order and refunded the money. The restaurant had to throw out the three dinners we ordered

A screwed up app
Tried to order a pickup from a restaurant through Seamless. Tried 3 times with different credit cards - all ‘couldn’t be processed’. Then I got a notification that the restaurant couldn’t take any orders for 45 minutes. Ok. Fine. So I ordered from somewhere else. And didn’t use Seamless. A few minutes later got a notification that my cc had been charged at the first restaurant. So now had 2 orders I paid for. Terrible app.
Does Not Care About Consumer Safety!
Yesterday 08/01/2024 I ordered from the app and driver Manuel immediately messages me stating that he noticed there was no tip added and would appreciate a reconsideration as it is his only source of income.
Generally, I do not add a tip PRE delivery to confirm that the delivery actually makes it here (I can not tell you how many times it is marked delivered and is no where to be found) and that it is free of spills etc at the carelessness of the delivery person.
I ignored the text as I was busy at work. I get a follow-up text that he is on his way. Ok fine. Then my co-worker brings me the food and said the driver was nasty to her in regards to there not being a tip. Minutes later I receive a passive aggressive text from the driver saying "Thanks for the tip!!!!". I immediately chat with the Seamless app and let them know about this interaction. They say they will take note of it and that was it.
Today 8/2 I put in another order and lo and behold - Manuel picks up the order. I immediately (like within 2 minutes maybe less of ordering) contact Seamless via chat and ask them to cancel because I don't really feel safe - what a coincidence that Manuel picked up the order right?
Same text comes through about there not being a tip. I am fighting with both reps advising them that this is a safety issue - I don't have a good feeling about this based on the interaction from the day before that I already previously reported! Both Angel (rep) and Lara (supervisor) advised they could not be of any help and the order could not be cancelled. By that time, I get another text from Manuel that he is on his way. At that point feel pressured to add a tip pre-delivery to try and buffer the situation so he doesn't get upset again. The food is delivered, Manuel does not say anything, however the soda is spilled. So I got my money back by way of a technicality (spilled soda) vs. Seamless actually caring about the safety of their customers. Safe to say I won't be using Seamless again!

I ordered a meal from a restaurant that is essentially next door. It said there would be utensils, napkins, etc.. I am in a hotel with no silverware. My order was for a $17.99 item. There was $1.08 in tax. There was a $3.00 service fee, a $1.99 deluvery fee. The amout was rounded up to the nearest dollar and called a donation. I did not tip as the utensils were missing, the place was next door, and I had nothing to eat with. Somehow, a tip for $4.81 was TAKEN without my authorization. My $17.99 item was $29.00. I called and I thought refunded the tip. They sent an email that looks like a PayPal refund but when I look at my account, nothing has been refunded! I payed way too much and only 2 service fees showed before I authorized the payment. Charges appear after authorization. This is stealing and it is ILEGAL!

No stars really.. this company charged me for an order and the business was closed. They sent me a message stating that I would get a refund in 3-5 days - it never happen. Then when I contacted them they had an ai tell me there is nothing they can do about it. Please don't waste your time ordering through this company. They are a fraud and will keep your money even after they tell you something different.

Seamless is the dumping ground for Grubhub
Seamless is where Grubhub sends the drivers who were too horrible at delivering for them. Orders have been opened or just never arrive. And in some cases just delivered to who knows where. And the photos they send to prove delivery, when not a image of their thumb, are landscapes or walls.
