Poor Return Policy
I received the item ordered and it was not as expected, so I found an alternate. In the process of trying to return the original item to Sera Fine Silk for my refund, I noticed that they required the item to be returned within 15 days of receipt and it must be returned to Italy.
The cost to ship the item back to Italy was going to be $196 dollars and it was not guaranteed to make it back within 15 days.
In short, the return policy is unrealistic, if you want feedback on how to improve your customer service I would strongly advise extending the period to 30 days and consider a pre-paid return label.
Unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer, but I highly encourage your team to regroup on your return policy to ensure an elevated customer experience with your business.

The hook on the bow tie is unnecessary
The hook on the bow tie is unnecessary, except for children and people who never wear bow ties.
That hook is obtrusive, unsightly, and can potentially damage the shirt collar.
For me, it renders the tie unusable.

Regarding the duty and taxes, unfortunately these are applied directly by UK customs and are outside of our control. They are a standard procedure for international shipments and, as noted on our site, remain the responsibility of the customer.
