When my server was experiencing Blue Screens, the support team straight up advised that there may be extra charges due to the fact it was an out of scope issue, and they explained it in really great detail and pointed me to the fine print so I could have a better understanding.

Once I agreed to the potential extra charges, they did their analysis and found that the hard drive and memory were showing signs of failure, they have asked me if i backed up my data and confirmed before they replaced my server.

The team have been extremely helpful and i am really happy to be a customer for Servers Australia.

I've used other hosts before, but we've been with SA for about 6 years now, servicing pretty much all our clients.

Servers Australia while was good i'm not to sure what happend in the past 12 months or so but their service has really declined and very expensive and when in need of help which does arrive eventually, your left with very broken and unhappy customers on my side while waiting for help. SO i have had to cancel the servers and buy all my own expensive hardware to host on premise. As I am a network engineer but did like using servers australia, without a management plan or extra back up plan, the servers sold can be very very expensive. Unfortunately, just having a server hosted remotely is not all its cracked up to be, especially if you need responsive 100% up time without delay. Like I said, nothing wrong with Servers Australia but they have to improve service reliability and customer service. I can appreciate being charged for support but when the servers are costly anyway, the management plans price you out of the situation and thus costing you downtime. Be very careful when signing up and make sure you know what exactly you are getting your self into. The management plan is quite expensive for a few times a month that maybe needed? or your charged an hourly rate which could cost be hundreds to fix. In my case the more and more problems the server got, the more and more spent on support, only for it to eventually play up again from time to time anyway. Since hosting my own servers on premise in my office, i have no problems at all. Best of luck to servers australia. :)

I've used a lot of cloud servers and similar providers, some international and some Australian. Servers Australia competes so well on price, but the service and offerings are the best I've seen from an Aus company.

Flawless hosting. We had a server with these guys for over a year, absolutely no issues whatsoever. Zero downtime.

Servers Australia would have to be the most Professional and prompt service I have ever had from a company.
The staff are very easy to deal with and really know their stuff.
I have dealt with them for several years now and will continue to highly recommend them any chance I get.

Very helpful when it came to a needy punter.

Firstly, although after reviewing the initial contract (Co-Location), where it stated that it gives a delayed billing period before it commences billing, there is no option to pause the billing further, if a customer was waiting on parts of completion of a specific server build. So, it landed up being billed for 3 months before a small business owner like myself could get the installation done.

Secondly, trying to find the actual building of where the data center actually is, was a nightmare, driving in circles, spending at least 30 minutes on global support service (who was great under circumstances), that could not assist me, because the could not get hold of the actual center staff. I understand the need of anonymity and secrecy of data Centre locations. But directions could have been enhanced with the help of some arial or spatial photographs.

Once in the building, things went slightly better.
I would have expected at a minimum, someone with a technical background who had reviewed my allocation specs, to give me a quick tour and run down of the physical locations of the install, i.e. Port selection, rack allocation etc. Only after having to go back into an earlier support case, could I find the information I needed.

The data center itself was ok. However, the design and availability of the crash cart (Monitor / Keyboard etc.) could have been thought out a littler better. By having a place to plug in the power of the screen on the front panel. You only need 1.

Lastly, there was nobody available to help trouble shoot connectivity issues, once installed to specification.

Anyway, overall experience was one of frustration. Something that should have taken no more than an hour, took a better part of a day.
