Share & Care found someone to live with my elderly father in a homeshare match. The agency was very thorough finding out all about my father – who had dementia – as well as very detailed interviews with potential homesharers. John moved in with my father for just over a year and he was a godsend and enabled my father to stay in his own home for that extra time before needing to move into care. He was responsible, patient and reliable and it was very reassuring for us as a family to know he was there and would let us know if there were any problems. My father really enjoyed his company too – they would watch the football together. Share & care was extremely professional, had a lot of knowledge and understanding about dementia, and always on hand for advice. I highly recommend them.

Time-waister. They advertise on Spare Room and the only response is an automatic one saying too busy to evaluate your message.

They dont care about you at all - avoid at all costs, they're selfish and untrustworthy. Just trying to make money for themselves

This company offers no support for sharers whatsoever and if there's any issue you will be left unprotected as the industry is completely unregulated. Beware and don't make the same mistake I did. You'll end up homeless with no recourse or help.

I was totally appalled when these two the daughter and her husband came to the homeowner to prepare my removal in one or the other way. Dramatic and symbolic moments to demonstrate their unity against me, and to reveal that they’ve been misleading me from the first moment – the first meeting with the daughter in her posh flat in High St Kensington. I observed the power shift of financial control and authority over the homeowner’s budget from the homeowner's to the daughter’s favour, whereas the homeowner was still a formally independent person.

The husband was portrayed as the antagonist in the daughter’s life, he was surprisingly gathering and sorting out all paperwork, and financial documents in the house after the homeowner passed away. The homeowner had short term after my removal as I was the last gatekeeper to protect his independence in decision-making against the daughter, and this was the reason that the daughter had to abolish me. Deliberate negligence took place after my leave and was contacted by the local hospital within 3 weeks in Chelsea that the new 'amazing' people seem to be irresponsible around the homeowner, and I was the last contact on the hospital list, unfortunately, I couldn’t interfere and believed that the hospital will report the negligence to pertinent people if the homeowner is unsafe.
