useless Couldnt find a honey and menthol Tune never mind anything else!

It can't identify small snippets..

Its ability to find any song has dropped significantly ! Not talking about specifics remixes or cover. It is terrible !

I will give zero if I could, utterly useless and a pure waste of time

can't even recognise "fur elise"

which google can, but then again google doesn't recognise anything else and doesn't give enough time to get into whistling a Scottish air

Ne reconnaît pas grand chose! Apparemment juste de l’anglo et encore pas trop dans le bruit alentour!
Franchement, pas de vraie utilité!

Früher wirklich gut. Zuletzt leider katastrophal … z. B. wurde bei einem Linkin Park Konzert auf YouTube kaum ein Song erkannt. Traurig, was aus der App geworden ist :-(

À part Julien Doré et autres nullités actuelles ils n’ont pas l’air de connaître grand chose à la musique ! Mais qui c’est Vivaldi ?

Einem geschenkten gaul schaut man net ins maul hehe , erzähl dat mal troya hehe, Spaß bei Seite, eine geniale App , die kostenlos ist.

Eigentlich nicht mal 1 Stern wert dieses sogenannte Top Musikerkennungsprogramm. Finde es traurig das es von the prodigy - outer Space zb nicht erkennt Blur - Song 2 und noch viele sehr bekannte Lieder aus den 70er,80er und 90er
und das kennt sogar meine kleine Schwester. Aber Hauptsache sowas wie eine schmuttermaier Biber ( Schwulette Justin Bieber ) sofort nach nicht mal 1 sec erkennt und der ist meiner Meinung nach eigentlich uninteressant.

I am old enough to remember when Shazam was amazing tech.
Drink with your friends in a busy bar and we were all like Wow!
Now, struggles with anything outside it's algorithm or who is paying presumably.

Worst thing is it was reliable. It would actually say 'dont know'!
Now it just feeds you up to 7 or 8 wrong answers. Just like Google. Do not go quoting to your friends...

Such a shame

I love Shazam and it's my go to app to search music, especially music that triggers a memory for me.

I listen to music from around the world. I was born in the UK with parents from India and I have been lucky to live & work all over the world, so music search is a regular part of my life.

However, for the latest 6-9 months, I have found that you always struggle to find Bollywood songs, old & new, so that is pretty disappointing, especially because your ability to find those songs is getting worse, instead of better .. is there a reason?

Needs work. I would like to be able to identify songs at live concerts and even just karaoke by different people. It can't find a background song from a commercial. It can't find a song if too many people are talking at the bar. It can't find a song played by low quality speakers. Fix this piece of crap.

Très très vite très très limité.
Si ce n'est pas de la musique mainstream, l'application est très vite dans le gaz.
Ne lui proposez surtout pas de la Soundtrack de jeux hors AAA mainstream ou de la musique de pays lointains, l'application ne trouvera rien du tout.

You need these apps when you can't recall a tune but alas this app isn't much help. If you're looking for something like Abba and Waterloo it'll probably get it but anything slightly off the beaten track and your out of luck. I tried the theme tune to Detectorists and after listening to the whole of it, no joy, so I immediately installed SoundHound and it got it with the smallest of samples.
I think my knowledge of music is better than Shazam's?
