Simplyeasyrefurbs Reviews

Amazing service. Simple Easy Refurbs managed the whole process from beginning to end including planning. It was a stress free experience for me.

Marius, Yuri, Sebastian and their team's handled everything, gave me weekly updates and always had time to answer my questions and explain in detail. Any questions were answered almost immediately via the Group WhatsApp chat

The loft was more or less water tight within two weeks which I couldn't believe. Yuri's team left the site spotless each day and did everything they could to ensure I could still live in the property without being impacted by the construction. Yuri's and his team were extremely hard working and polite. Marius was a pleasure to deal with even when I couldn't seem to make a decision and kept changing my mind. Marius called to the site several times to check in and make sure I was happy with everything.

Emma checked in every two weeks to make sure everything was going ok and to see if there was anything she could do.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am so thankful that I went for this company to do my loft.

Very happy with all the work by Simply Easy Refurbs from start to finish. Sebastian and George at Fast Plans guided us through the planning and legal stages, happy to discuss the design options in some depth before works started. Marius and the team at Root Construction were fast, clean and very professional, giving updates on what would be done each week. The regular check-in to ensure everything was going to plan was also much appreciated.

Really happy with Simply Easy Refurbs & GM Construction. Clear communication throughout, very competitive quote and transparent.
Would definitely recommend!

We have just completed a loft conversion in our 1930s terraced home.
I was initially impressed with the reviews for Simply Easy Refurb and submitted a enquiry via email. Within 20 minutes I had a phone call from Daniel who was able to facilitate a meeting the same day. That meeting laid down the foundation for a truly outstanding project. Loren our project manager is a remarkable man with a spectacular eye for detail and assisted us with every aspect of the construction. His ability to remember even the smallest of detail is really impressive. The contract for the project was 12 weeks but by day one we could see that it was going to be completed so much sooner. In fact it took a total of 5 weeks to complete which included a fully decorated loft and landing and numerous additional extra requests that were accomplished immediately on request.
I highly recommend Loren, Aldo and the team. Their craftsmanship was absolutely outstanding and their attention to detail is incredible. It’s been an absolute pleasure and privilege to witness how professional these men have worked. Their constant can do attitude and work ethic has been absolutely amazing. We would like to thank every team member for their incredible work and wish them every success for the future.
We could not have asked for a better work force and are extremely delighted with the finished conversion. Thank you guys.

A huge thank you to the whole team at Simply Easy Refurbs, who were a stand out choice when we received quotes from four different vendors for our loft conversion.

They were by the far the most friendly, professional and customer focused provider who listened to our wants and added their own ideas which resulted in an amazing final product. Thanks to the teams amazing design and expertise we got an extra bedroom, bathroom and office up there!

We are extremely grateful and remain so impressed with the speed and quality the team built and decorated our new space ready for the arrival of our little boy.

Really great service from the team here for my loft conversion. Easy to get hold of if i had questions and given customer courtesy calls to check-in with me throughout the project. Super friendly people to deal with and i’m very pleased with the quality and look of my loft! Thank you

Great communication from our project manager and their team. The finished project is what we hoped for. All paperwork and logistics taken care of so we didn’t have to. High standard of craftsmanship from the team ✅

We had a loft extension to our Edwardian property.
I read Simply Refurb’s reviews before making my decision to go with the company.
Great decision.
Marius our project manager explained everything in detail and there were no hidden extras.
Great work by Yurij, the actual builder working for Marius, and his team. Could not believe that pretty much all the building work was finished in 4 weeks.
Highly recommend!

Terrific outfit, really friendly, worked with us to resolve problems and a nice vibe throughout. Recommended!

We would absolutely recommend Simply Easy Refurbs. We are incredibly happy with the finished article of our home and can't believe it is the same place. Throughout the whole process communication was clear and consistent and they were able to highlight and deal with any issues that arose. The team had great patience when we were not sure what we wanted to do and helped us come to the right decisions.

Simply Easy Refurbs. To put it Simply, exemplary. From start to finish they were just a call away. Sebastian guided me through all the legal stuff and recommendations were very useful throughout the process. I’ve never come across a better Project Manager than Loren. His knowledge and kindness was invaluable. Contractors were very professional and polite. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great service, very happy with my loft conversion. (Please see below edit)

I obtained about 5 quotes for my works and decided to go with SimplyEasy due to good feedback but more so my gut feeling and I’m glad I did. Laura who I initially met with and provided my quote was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. There was no hard sell like some of the others. I wanted a better technical understanding of the conversion so Laura came back with a project manager who explained things further.

We were matched with our PM Stas, who was just brilliant from start to finish. A real gent and he is very patient despite me being a bit of a pain and changing my mind on a couple of bits even after these tasks had been completed. He arranged to have these things altered the way I wanted. He also gave really good guidance on some design points we were unsure of. Anytime I flagged a point for discussion he would be straight round to discuss. The build team were also fantastic. My neighbours commented on how efficient and respectful the team were and like Stas they would also go the extra mile to satisfy the job.

The SimplyEasy rep called me every week or so to check how things were progressing.

Edit: Jan 2025 - Reduced my scoring due to the incompetence of the glazier sub-contractor. French door panels required replacement due to broken seals causing condensation. 3 x failed visits with last minute cancellation and still not sorted. I standby my earlier review but unfortunately this has tainted what was originally a good experience. Also have noisy extractor fan duct that can’t seem to be resolved.

Provided a good end to end service from drawings to building control through to completion.
Great sub-contractors who pulled out all the stops to get our project completed before Christmas.

After meeting with lots of loft conversion companies in south London we decided that we were going to ask simply easy refurbs to be the company to complete a hip to gable loft conversion for us.

Just a few months on from our initial meeting with simply easy refurbs we have a wonderful loft conversion as promised from start to finish within just 8 weeks.

Sebastian and his team proved to be professional, helpful, hardworking with fantastic communication via what’s app through the whole project. This made it simple and easy for everyone involved. Unlike many other companies there were also no hidden costs for the works.

I had spent around a year meeting other companies and was at the stage of giving up.

I couldn’t recommend simply easy refurbs enough.

Thank you to Sebastian and his team for all the hard work and making the build such a smooth process, we had the same 3 builders throughout the whole project they were a pleasure to have around.

So happy with our experience with simply easy refurbs!!! Their professional, easygoing conduct really matches their company name! Nothing was too much for them, nothing was a real problem, they come up with solutions and they always aim to say yes to the numerous asks, and trust me I had many 😅. Incredibly professional and customer focused through out. We honestly could not have chosen a better company, so happy we went ahead with them. We love our loft so much, it’s gorgeous.
Sebastian is simply amazing, thoughtful, polite, very informative and always tries to help and put your mind at ease. He won us over the first minute he came to visit us to see the house! Very sincere and someone you can trust. He always listened and patiently answered my endless questions.Emma checked in all the time to make sure we are happy with everything. Roberta and her colleague made all the paper work easy and straightforward.

Stas, our project manager deserves a medal for his patience in dealing with me, which was not easy. I am a stubborn perfectionist, and each time no matter how hard - he found a way to make it happen. Extremely grateful to have had him as project manager, was always there for me throughout the process, always with a smile, wonderful attitude and steadfast professionalism.
Overall, the entire team was just a pleasure to deal with from start to end, always polite and professional building team is very experienced and of a high level. They pay a lot of attention to customers’ needs and you can trust that they will create a brilliant loft for you.
Thank you, Simplyeasy refurbs!

I had quite a few quotes from different local companies before doing my loft conversion and was quite overwhelmed with the risk of choosing the best one! I chose Simply Easy because although they weren’t the cheapest option they worked really hard to get me a quote that would be accurate as possible ahead of time rather than avoiding ‘surprises’ later and explained the additions in the quote they thought were worthwhile investments (e.g bigger Velux for more light). I really trusted the team in those initial conversations and received very little messing about compared to competitors who I honestly felt gave me higher quotes because I was a single woman.

Seb and the team managed the project initially then contracted it on to ICS. Initially I was worried about this but it worked brilliantly. My project manager, Stas, guided me through every decision and step and was a real expert. My builders were often on site early, ready to start on time and got the job finished bang on schedule.
When they did the snagging I had a key for a window snap and they sorted it with no issue. Thanks for the huge improvement to my home!

Dear Seb,

We would like to congratulate you and recommend your company to as many people as possible who wish to have any extension work done to their home.
From our initial meeting Georgie and I felt extremely confident in your ability to deliver on what we required. Your presentation from the outset was informative, detailed and transparent. Having then met with Surrey General Builders, the main contractor, again we felt in safe hands with the abilities of Dean and Luan.
Throughout the build there were a number of changes and adaptions to the building and the structure, mainly from our side but all of the team handled this with care, empathy and diligence. We always felt that anything that needed to be changed or upgraded, as it does throughout construction, the team remained fully focused and patient to achieve our dream goals. We as a group have created an incredible extension to our family home and are proud of the construction team and everyone involved.
Finding quality and reliable construction teams are a real challenge, this we overcame by finding you.
We must also give a special mention to Dean who dedicated himself to the build, nothing was ever too much hassle and project managers like Dean are an asset to the company. Thank you for all of your help and support.
We would highly recommend anyone seeking advice on extending their property to make contact with you and your team.

Extremely happy clients

Mr and Mrs Pendleton

I reviewed 7 companies for a loft conversion, and found Seb, SER and the team to be very knowledgable, professional and with good communication. Of course, pricing was also competitive!

When the work was underway, I found all the tradesman kind, diligent and respectful, (our favourite was Constantin). Marius and the team were accommodating to what we needed and left our home immaculate.

We had a small footprint to work with in London so it was a toss up for some time if we should move or extend - and the loft has made a massive difference.

The work was completed without a snag, and we now have a great dormer loft conversion for our growing family.

I am so pleased I went for my loft conversion with SimplyEasy Refurbs & ICS. They weren’t my first choice based on quote however while talking to them I understood they have professional team and are customer centrated. After few rounds of negotiations we agreed on scope, time and budget.
All the works started on time, all trades involved were highly professionals, doing the works with consideration of my needs. I was a bit nervous after reading on other people experience with other firms. However it went smooth. The rest of the house wasn’t impacted. They always covered all unimpacted areas, put carpet protectors, dust sheets etc.
Surprisingly for me, main work were completed ahead of the time just after 6 weeks. This of course happened because of brilliant work of project management team and fast feedback look. We had common WhatsApp group set up that eased communication.

Overall, very positive experience, on time, full scope and on budget. Definitely recommend if you think to do a bit of extension to your leaving space.

Very happy with the service from Simply Easy Refurbs and ICS construction. Team were very responsive and the project ran smoothly.
