I never intentionally signed up for Skool in the first place. I ordered Hormozi’s books and, without my explicit permission, that somehow resulted in an automatic Skool subscription tied to my payment method. I was then billed for a service I never chose or wanted.
When I tried to fix it, the cancel process was a mess. The option to cancel was buried, the interface kept trying to get me to enter card details just to cancel, and it took way too long just to stop future charges. I also couldn’t remove my payment method until I managed to navigate their hidden subscription settings.
In my opinion this is deceptive and predatory behavior: I should never be auto‑signed up and charged for a platform just because I bought books, and canceling should not be this hard. Bullshit

Scam charge and then radio silence
I don't know what kind of scam this is. I will echo what other reviewers have said. I was charged without any reason. No payment shows up on my account, but my card was charged. I never signed up to the paid plan, cancelled the free trial well on time. I'm not signed up to on any community.
The charge was not even for the membership -- it was a larger charge.
I contacted support and received a response that they would investigate. And then radio silence. They are ignoring me.
It's clearly a system issue whereby Skool is making money and the customer support is non-existent or being told to ignore us so they can keep the money.
I would strongly recommend that users DO NOT USE SKOOL.

Quiero alertar a otros estudiantes sobre mi experiencia con la comunidad UMBRAL en Skool, gestionada por Johnny García.
Tras un cobro de suscripción que intenté resolver el mismo día (26 de febrero), me encontré con un muro de silencio. El administrador me ignoró durante 26 días seguidos, a pesar de que la propia plataforma indicaba que estaba activo y conectado regularmente.
Lo verdaderamente inaceptable fue su respuesta cuando finalmente decidió contestar hoy, 24 de marzo. Lejos de ofrecer una solución profesional o una negativa educada, sus palabras textuales fueron: "Haber estudiado" y "si no lo querías es tu problema".
Es indignante que alguien que vende formación académica se burle de un alumno de esta manera y muestre tal falta de ética y empatía ante un problema administrativo. Un servicio que no solo falla en el soporte, sino que falta al respeto al cliente cuando este reclama sus derechos.
No recomiendo a nadie confiar su dinero ni su formación a esta persona. Tengo pruebas y capturas de pantalla de toda la conversación que demuestran este trato lamentable.

paid £9 per month to Join which was affordable only to find hidden hurdles to being able to interact with the user community. Reach level 2 and you can get seen by other creators & members on there but have to reach 90 members within 30days. Skool should explain to beginners these rules before taking their money, So it felt like I had been scammed. The account when deleted gets archived & they carry on taking money monthly. That IS a scam. Then after joining money taken you discover unless you upgrade for 99£/$ per month you cannot set on any affiliates or do anything remotely useful to gather a following it is useless to a beginner if they like me can't afford to upgrade.It is all kept hidden by Google & Skool "partners"! Even chat GPT won't disclose the truth (i asked chatgpt before joining) All too good to be true on misleading FB ads (probs another partner) Misleading & conning trusting folks out of cash. What an embarassment. Why aren't Skool just honest from the get go? More levels of pricing are needed to keep total beginners inclusive of the user/member community & allow them to be able to use affiliate tools from the start. The tools are held to ransom by greedy developers & stakeholders. The Trustpilot scores speak for themselves. Had to give 1 star as there isn't a zero star option. This is the very 1st time I didn't check Trustpilot scores before joining a platform & here I am, that has taught me a lesson. Very annoyed.. Note how all the 1 star reviews reverberate the same dissatisfaction & levels of deceit, misrepresentation and financial abuse. Rant over (on here at least)
Scamming people in the name of Islam
I am a software engineer with over four years of experience. Recently, the job market in Canada has become extremely challenging, so I began exploring opportunities in Muslim-majority countries. During that process, I discovered the MakeHijra YouTube channel and learned about Pivot2Tech.
I scheduled a meeting with Mr. Shuayb from Pivot2Tech and clearly explained my situation. I mentioned that, as a senior software engineer, I was not looking for technical training. Instead, I wanted guidance on acquiring clients, building a network, and participating in a collaborative community where members share projects and opportunities. Mr. Shuayb assured me that their community operates this way and agreed to help.
He then requested a $1,000 CAD enrollment fee and stated that if a participant does not secure a client within 12 weeks, the full amount would be refunded. Trusting this representation, I paid the fee.
However, after payment, communication and support were minimal. I was not added to the community or contacted as promised until I followed up myself. When I eventually spoke with an instructor, he told me:
“You already know more than me. I can’t teach you anything.” He then shared two YouTube videos and a sample project without any guidance on how the work was done.
When I later asked how the promised client-sharing system worked, the instructor informed me that I would have to find clients myself, which directly contradicted what was explained during enrollment.
I then respectfully asked Mr. Shuayb for clarification about the plan for my situation. His response was:
“I don’t think you want us to help you. If you think this is useless, I don’t want us to work together anyway as I find that incredibly disrespectful.”
Shortly after this, I was removed from the community groups. When I later requested the refund that had been promised if the program was not suitable, he responded: “We don’t do refunds. I’m not going to keep explaining myself. Have some shame and hold yourself accountable. Do not contact me again unless it’s with respect for my team and our services.”
I have recordings and screenshots documenting all communications and events described above.

J’ai acheté une méthode pour créer des vidéos et gagner de l’argent sur YouTube, avec la mention claire « satisfait ou remboursé ».
Finalement, je n’ai pas utilisé cette méthode car elle s’est révélée assez compliquée et je manquais de temps. J’ai donc demandé le remboursement comme indiqué dans l’offre. Après 10 jours sans aucune réponse, on m’a finalement expliqué que le remboursement n’était plus possible car le délai serait limité à 1 mois après l’achat, ce qui ne correspond pas aux conditions telles qu’elles étaient présentées au moment de la vente.
Lorsque j’ai indiqué que j’envisageais de signaler la situation sur Trustpilot, j’ai reçu un appel d’une personne se présentant comme « Théo », qui m’a parlé d’une éventuelle mise en demeure, ce que j’ai ressenti comme une tentative d’intimidation.
Je précise également que la méthode vendue contient principalement des liens vers des outils pour créer des vidéos qui sont présentés comme gratuits alors qu’ils sont en réalité payants. Par ailleurs, la majorité des informations fournies sont facilement trouvables gratuitement sur Internet et sur YouTube.
Je considère que ces pratiques sont trompeuses, tant sur la promesse de remboursement que sur le contenu réel de la formation. Je laisse donc cet avis afin d’informer les autres acheteurs potentiels et j’espère toujours obtenir le remboursement qui était promis lors de l’achat.
Charged After Free Trial Cancellation – No Support Response
I signed up for a free trial and cancelled it before it converted into a paid subscription. There is no active paid plan visible inside my account and I am not enrolled in any Skool community.
Despite this, I was charged for four consecutive months.
I contacted support and received no response. After sending the first email, the (1) most recent charge was refunded and my group was suddenly archived — without explanation.
Looking at other reviews here, I can see multiple users reporting similar issues with cancellations, billing, and lack of support response.
This appears to be either a serious billing system flaw or extremely poor customer support.
I would strongly recommend that users double-check cancellation confirmation and monitor their billing statements carefully.

I am very disappointed with Skool.com’s customer support.
When users really need help, support should respond quickly and professionally. I contacted them by email more than a week ago and still have not received any reply. It has now been over 10 days without any response.
I was accused by a creator and removed from a community, and I tried to contact support to understand what happened and to defend myself. Unfortunately, no one answered me. This makes me question how a platform can operate properly if they do not respond to users when serious issues happen.
A platform should protect both creators and members, and at least provide basic communication. Ignoring emails for more than a week is not acceptable.
I truly hope they improve their customer service because users deserve support when they face problems.

I wanted to cancel my membership but its impossible to do so or its so hidden. I sent complaint email no answer. I spent 30 min trying to cancel this should be super ilegal. Ive read more than one review that they requested cancelation and it was done one month late so you get charged extra.

“Lifetime Access” Revoked After Full Payment
I paid in full for two programs marketed as providing lifetime access (Creative Airbnb Academy and a government procurement course).
Despite payment, my access was removed multiple times by administrators without prior written notice or reference to any written policy. No access limits were disclosed at purchase.
Notably, Richie Matthew’s reinstated my access more than one year after inception (June 2024). After this, administrators claimed there was a one-year completion rule—which was never provided in writing or part of the original terms.
No refund was issued, and no written policy explains how “lifetime access” can be revoked. I ultimately had to send a formal legal notice just to request continued access to what I already paid for.
Posting for transparency. Buyers should obtain all access and termination terms in writing before purchasing.
