During the whole experience of choosing our furniture, there was no pressure or hard sell. The furniture sold itself! There was a very wide range of samples to choose from, and there was no rush. The delivery was made on date and time. Martin and Ross took utmost care bringing the furniture into our home. They removed their shoes without being asked. The furniture was placed exactly where we wanted it, and it looks fantastic. It is very comfortable too. This was proper old fashioned good service from start to finish. Thank you.

Cannot thank Stephanie enough for her help, patience and guidance in helping us choose our new sofa, she has been wonderful! We spent a long time choosing, changed our minds mid way but absolutely love what we eventually decided on. It is perfect, exactly what we wanted in style, colour and comfort. I'm not sure we would have got there without Stephanie as there is so much choice and it's overwhelming but Stephanie worked hard to help us get there and we are very grateful. I purchased two expensive armchairs from this company and was extremely disappointed with the quality and transparency of the product. For the price point, I expected a high standard of craftsmanship, but the piping on both chairs was poorly joined and noticeably uneven. This is not what you expect from a premium purchase.
I also selected a mohair fabric, but at no point was I informed that this material can feel coarse or itchy. Had this been explained, I would have chosen differently. Clear guidance on fabric characteristics should be a basic part of the buying process, especially for items in this price range.
Overall, the combination of sub par finishing and lack of product information has left me feeling let down. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience and would urge future customers to ask very detailed questions before ordering.

I was very cautious when choosing a company to buy a new sofa from. When I looked at the history of this company I could see their background was the manufacture of quality furniture - add to that a customer service experience at the Henley Branch that really makes you feel you are valued as a customer – something often lacking today – all the team at Henley were welcoming and very patient and extremely helpful – particularly Nick – I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone wishing to purchase a quality piece of furniture.

The staff in the Bishops Stortford showroom were excellent, both in their knowledge of the subject matter and were happy to take the time to ensure that we were happy with what we chose. Style of furniture, fabrics and details could all be tailored to our requirements.
Nathan and Nic, who carried out the delivery, were punctual, polite, professional in their assembly of our sofa and tidied up afterwards.
Minor administrative issues were dealt with quickly and professionally.
S&S are not the cheapest place to buy a new sofa, but they must be one of the best. We would wholeheartedly recommend them as the place to go.

Absolutely delighted with my lovely, quality, sofa from Sofas and Stuff, and was so impressed with the excellent service I received. Suzanne guided and helped me through all stages from sizing, colour choice, delivery, payment options etc. .. and at no point did I feel sale pressured. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, helped along with a welcome cup of tea on arrival, Suzanne showed utmost patience and assurance on days when I just couldn’t make my mind up, and was able to suggest other possible options/areas of choice … bonus was, that at the busiest time of year, I had my gorgeous sofa delivered in time for Christmas..
Must also mention the lovely delivery chaps, Dave and Jake, who conscientiously provided updates on time of delivery, assembling furniture, explaining warranty and leaving care plan.

We’re looking forward to delivery of two Helmsley sofas soon and hope to be able to review them every bit as positively as the customer service in the friendly Edinburgh showroom. Sara was a pleasure to deal with and understood our brief completely, which was quite exacting. We wanted smart, comfortable sofas that would be family friendly for our younger grandchildren, a change from our current colour scheme but still complement our chairs and rug, and would fit within our budget. Sara picked out fabrics that would look good, but importantly, also cope with the odd mishap. She suggested we choose a different fabric for the cushions to add a bit of texture and impact, and helped us find a great match. Her advice and understanding of our needs were first class, and she helped us bring the project in within our budget.

Terrible customer service. Visited Chelsea showroom on a Sat afternoon, had called earlier to ask if they had a particular item on display and I mentioned I would be coming in later, I was not told I needed an appointment. When I arrived the showroom was virtually empty, maybe 1-2 couples browsing. The two staff were sitting at their desks/ computers, one barely acknowledged me when I entered, the other was polite and got up to assist me but he was clearly in a hurry for me to go and told me I should come back on a weekday or Sunday morning when they would have more time. No where on the website does it say that an appointment is needed. Most people who work cannot come at those times, especially not for a sofa! It’s also not clear what these staff are there for if they don’t have time to serve customers. I had been ready to place my order today but I won’t be going back. This place belongs in the Home Counties not Chelsea,

We ordered 2 cromer sofas from Sofas and Stuff. Both arrived after c.3 months in the wrong shade and with the wrong legs. We sent a photo of the fabric sample against the sofa and their fabric house confirmed that the shade falls outside of their shade tolerance allowed between batches. They told us they would send us replacement legs which will take 3 weeks (3 weeks!) to arrive and suggested they can offer us a discount if we keep the sofas, or they can offer a replacement in the correct shade. The replacement will take 9 weeks. As the time to replace the sofas was quite long and we wouldn't receive any compensation for the error and delay if we decided to replace them, we accepted the discount. Whilst I can appreciate that the colour variance was due to the fabric supplier, it is still Sofa and Stuff's ultimate responsibility to ensure that the orders their customers receive are correct, particularly given the high price point.
On the positive side, the delivery team were excellent. Very professional, friendly and respectful of our home and the sofas are very comfortable. Rianna at customer support was also very responsive and professional and was keen to help find a resolution for us.
