Pricing needs to be clearer.
The book looks great as advertised.
The problem is that pricing is not well spelled out ahead of time. I could find nothing on the site that indicated that I would have to buy a minimum of 10 books, not until I actually went to pay did I know this. Thus I spent multiple hours before finding out that I would have to spend hundreds more than I thought. I had to change it to a paperback in order to make it affordable, which was disappointing. The number of pages increases the cost, understandably so; however, nowhere does it indicate what the cost per pages is.
Your pricing should be clearer.

It's only for 2 out of 7 products where you need to purchase a minimum of 10 copies/order. We try to be very clear on our pricing page showing that: Basic-books (28-1000 pages, minimum 10 books/order) Note! black/white interior, full color cover
You can easily see the exact price for your book on the production part of the site (without creating the actual book). Choose the desired number of pages, click on "Calculate price" and the amount will appear.

After a little bit of playing the…the tools were fairly easy
After a little bit of playing the format fairly easy to manage and figure out and the final product was amazing. I was able to create a book of a story I used to tell my daughter when she was a young child, import HenAI images to illustrate and it turned out perfect!

My book looks beautiful. I was especially worried about a photo of text I had to use to maintain the structure of one of my poems, but the photo transferred perfectly and is readable. The quality is so nice.

I keep returning to Solentro
I have written three books for my grandchildren, using Solentro each time for the publication. Their delivery of the product is fast, the books are produced just as you wrote and designed them. I have no more grandchildren, but I shall treasure the time I took to share meaningful stories with my grandchildren. And, when I am gone, I hope they will keep their books as a fond memory.

I can't begin to say enough great things......
I can't begin to say enough great things about Solento! First their customer service is outstanding. Making a book was overwheming to me so I must have e-mailed them almost daily with my qustions. Not only did they get back to me within 12 hours, and never showed annoyance, but their help was easy to understand and follow. The book itself exceded all my expectations. It is top quality in both the materials and the reproduction. Delivered sooner than I expected. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

The retirement book came out looking great! It was fun to put together and not expensive. It was easy to reach out for customer support and obtain a response quickly. I highly recommend Solentro.

Overall the software is good
Overall the software is good. I had trouble getting my text to flow from one page to the next when I designed and used my own templates. Also I was unable to order two different books at the same time to consolidate on shipping. My only choice was to order multiple copies of one of the books I created.

Text can only flow between pages if you use our three templates marked only for text.
Yes, if you want to order several different books you need to place separate orders due to different work flows and printer capabilities and hence we are not able to gather up different orders into one distribution, we are of course working on improving this in the future.

Thank you for your feedback here on Trustpilot! The books you make through Solentro can (and must) always be viewed exactly as they will be printed BEFORE you purchase them, in order to avoid mistakes like these.
Since we've been communicating through our customer service I will share our communication.
"As you can see in the app, (if you turn the phone into landscape-mode the pages will appear larger) the app looks exactly like the book you have received. The app automatically crops all images depending on the template you have chosen (or the app). You can choose which template works the best for the images you have uploaded. I would suggest the template covering a whole page or almost the whole page.
If you want more control of the book making you can log in to Solentro online via a computer and upload your photos there instead, you will be able to decide not to crop the images upon the upload-procedure (which isn't possible in the app since the app is automatically creating a whole photo book for you!).
Since this isn't an error on Solentro's behalf we can't refound or reprint the order (because it would look exactly the same) but we want you to have a book that you are proud of and hence feel free to use the code below to get 50% off of your next purchase (either from the app or online).

It was not a fully great experience
The quality of the paper used and the speed of completing my project were very good. The largest gap for my project specifically, was the disparity in color between the images that were loaded, on the screen and the finished book. Colors that were white actually turned out grey and brilliant reds or blues were dull.

Regarding printing: We will try to represent your original photo in the best way possible. A screen projects light and paper reflects it. Your screen may have different settings and we can not guarantee a 100% colour reproduction and/or exact match to your screen.

I ordered the premium hardcover book…
I ordered the premium hardcover book after being extremely disappointed with the premium softcover. Solentro offered me a great discount because of the quality of my first book and the hardcover is the way to go! It's so much nicer but I wouldn't have bought it without the discount. Overall, the quality is great but if you're only wanting one copy, it's very pricey!

I have made a couple of books with Solentro and been very pleased with how they turned out. It was easy to use Solentro's design system and I could see exactly what I was going to get.
