Excellent equipment, my system was a Samsung refurbished system but I think it was actually new or an overstock, all cameras serial numbers and date codes were in the same run in manufacturing! I am very happy!!!

Excellent overall experience. Ordered my system on Monday and it arrived the next day (I live in NY.) Great quality Samsung DVR and HD cameras at a fantastic price! I installed the system the next day. All is good. Now I can watch my home from my smart phone. Highly recommended!
No such thing as customer service. Terrible Experience!!
I am repeating customer and referred them to few of my friends due to their competitive pricing. Didn't knew i had to go through such a pain on my second purchase. Received my order on time which was good. Upon installing, I noticed that parts that they sent was never tested or verified. I am currently stuck with partially functioning security system. Don't know how they run their business without having a proper contact information. I tried to reach out to them on many different numbers and none of them works.

Respecting the customer and knowing your business
Being able to contact a business easily and with professionalism should be the norm, you would think.
Those that represent a company, should have the resources available for even such basics as quantity on hand. There should be courteous and knowledgeable agents who respond intelligently and properly review any information available/provided. Don't tell your customer they are wrong, especially when it is clear they are not.
So I seldom take the time to review much of anything. But, when both extreme things happen - good or bad - the adrenaline kicks in and this is what happens.
I will try and keep this as short and to the point as possible.
I was on soltechsecurity.com looking at an item they had. Having some questions, I began looking for a phone number and after much research, found one. When I called, it sounded like a person's voicemail that began with a music clip followed by an automated voice stating unavailable and leave a message. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING. I left a message. Then went back to the website and using their contact form, sent a message. And waited. Two days.
On 5/25, after no response, I called again - getting the same voicemail. Sent a message to their email from my phone and minutes later, got a call back. I began to ask questions and suddenly the rep, who didn't ever identify themselves by name, said there was trouble on the line and hung up. That followed with a text/email saying I needed to ask questions by email. I did just that and the responses were quick. They didn't respond to my last question.
I felt confident enough and placed the order. Got emails confirming order. And then one that said the order was cancelled as out of stock. Followed by a canned email noting refund and "sorry to see you go". I found that to be offensive.
I wrote back as I was confused why no one there I had spoken to or had emailed had not mentioned anything about being out of stock or close to it or anything.'
Two days later, while on Amazon,com, I came across the same item being sold by Soltech Security - at $50 more - showing available 4 units. I was shocked. Sent email with a screen shot noting this to them.
Holiday was on 5/29. They responded stating they did not have such a posting for that item and they don't post refurbished item on Amazon. WRONG!
I asked them to fill my order as it was originally, at the same cost, BUT without being refurb for all the time and effort, and being slighted by them saying they don't post when they clearly did.
Nothing. No response. Nothing. Nada.

Started out very happy with the price …
Started out very happy with the price for the security system. However when I received my package with my system, extra cameras and some loose pigtails all thrown in a very large overstuffed box....Well surprise the box ripped open and either the power supply for the pigtails fell out or were never in the package. Set up what I could at this point and contacted them via email and received no response at all. $798 spent and almost got what I paid for. Waited to review to find out what they would do about it. Well so far no response and nothing done about it. Supposed to open our shop tomorrow and have multiple cameras that have no power. Guess I will spend more time and money to find some elsewhere.
