So easy to use
I’ve used the service many times, mainly because it’s so easy to use. Compared with the rigmarole of trying to get an appointment at my local GP practice - with the Square Health service, you can go from deciding you want an appointment, to booking it, then having the appointment itself all within about half an hour.

Digital GP
Digital GP: Excellent response and result compared to usual local GP service, which would have been a week wait.
Managed to get emergency prescription which alleviated severe head pains.

Easy booking, useless assistance
Booking appointment was easy and Aviva app facilitated the process, conversation and image sharing well, although the ability to add a short video or more than a single image would be more useful. However the doctor only showed half their face during the whole consultation, arranged an unnecessary specialist referral for a minor injury and advised to call my GP or 111 for more immediate assessments anyway, where I actually got the appropriate at home treatment advice that was needed in the first place and confirmation the referral was completely unnecessary, a fact proven by the at home treatment working within a few days.

Not a great experience
The nurse I spoke to was lovely and from this call an appointment was made with a doctor. The call was on a Sunday morning. If I'm honest the call felt rushed and I don't think time was spent listening to my concerns, rather to end the call as soon as possible.

Fast and reliable
Overall, a speedy and reliable service, however some of the consultants don't seem to show any empathy, rushing through the appointments and directing you to GP services rather than providing with an advice.

Waste of time
Booked an appointment to discuss an injury I had 3+ weeks ago as it was not improving and wanted advice on physio or other options. I was told to attend A&E - I pointed out how old the injury was but still been told to visit A&E. I was turned away from A&E (not surprisingly) as it's an older injury so it was a waste of everyone's time. I have also received a referral letter with no instructions. Upon calling back, it transpired the letter was for a private medical cover provider which I don't have so unsure why the GP would refer me.

Nutritional support
I would recommend this to everyone. The nutritional therapist was great. This was my 3rd appointment with Andrea and she fixed a problem I have had for years and years within 2 appointments. No GP had been able to help. She also gave advice and guidance and I had a follow up appointment to ask about next steps.

The online Doctor however gave incorrect information claiming Melanomas are always black, when they can be any colour.
