The product is great and of good quality.
The whole ordering experience was easy and the product was delivered on time and the couriers were very efficient and polite.
I would say that even though badged as a DIY opportunity, personally I could never have done it, we hired a joiner, some of the tools he used I wouldn’t expect a diyer to have.
If you are thinking of taking this on be prepared.

We have just finish doing our StairFurb installation in under 2 hours, we had set the whole aside to do the job, but pleasantly surprised how quick it was. All the wood and glass fitted perfectly and looks amazing. The quality of the products together with the clear and detail instructions made everything so easy. Delivery was efficient and friendly. Good quality fair price delivered on time

The product itself is very good, and I have no complaints with it. But the company aren't great to deal with. I had 2 main issues.
Firstly there is no mention at all on the website that the wood is untreated, I cant imagine anyone wanting to treat the oak before fitting it and once the purchase is made they then offer treatment and charge you an extra £100 to do so, nice little earner for them but transparency from the start would have been better. The second and main issue i have is they are offering customers £200 cashback to film parts of the fitting and leave a Google review. Offering someone £200 to leave a Google review creates a bias, no one is going to leave an honest review if they aren't happy as they want the £200, this in my opinion is a underhanded tactic to increase review scores. They also didn't give me the £200 even though I did as they asked, they offered me £50 saying they didn't want to use my content, even though I had met the criteria which said they would pay that regardless of if they use the content or not.
Overall I can recommend the kit, but the company has left me with a sour taste in my mouth which is a shame. Stairfurb if your reading this, you need to work on your customer service, very quick to take your money, weeks of chasing if theres anything issues, taking days to reply each time.

We did our research and decided that Stairfurb was the best option as their customer service was well reviewed and the product looked straightforward to install for DIY novices like us.

From the very beginning their team were very patient with us on multiple video and phone calls where we confirmed the specs, install process and triple checked our measurements. Once the kit arrived a few weeks later we contacted them again to confirm a few details of the installation which they were quick to clarify. It never felt like we were bothering them with stupid questions as they were always very helpful and polite.

We did a newell post clad and full balustrade refurb and the process was relatively straightforward. Some DIy expereince would have made the process a bit quicker for us but we figured it out eventually. It did take us a little longer than we expected (2 days) but we did have to wait for the cladding to dry before fixing the ballustrade kit.

We would definately recommend Stairfub to anyone looking to update or modernise their stairs.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! The glass that arrived didn’t fit unfortunately, but James was extremely helpful and sent out a replacement piece straight away at no additional cost.

Delivery was spot on. Emails and phone calls making sure that the instructions of the glass bannister was sent swiftly before installing.
The product and quality is very good.

Precision parts, clear instruction (for glass banister be sure to pin fillets between glass as you go).

No reply to messages or request to call. Setup video call and no one attended. Once I did get in contact told the 50% off all balustrade kits as advertised is not of all balustrade kits, only internal kits. This is not detailed anywhere on the site

I used f and h for installing and they sent me Matt and jack . The most knowledgeable men who measured it all for me , helped me order and then fitted . All perfect and amazing customer service

This company was a pleasure to work with, I had some reservations about installing the kit myself but Stairfurb were able to recommend a local fitter who was able to complete the install. We had plenty of support from this company and communication was clear and often.
The product itself is top class and once installed looks fantastic !
I would shop with Stairfurb again if needed, its very rare these days you can feel really happy with suppliers but Stairfurb are the best !

Lovely product, but after sales is poor. Had our delivery 2 weeks ago. Checked it over, but was advised by the driver to not unwrap the hand rail as we weren’t fitting it straight away. Used one of the recommended fitters who found damage on the hand rail. It was fitted. I contacted Stair Furb and I’ve been told nothing they can do basically as it was 2 weeks after delivery ! They will also contact the fitter !! Not a great experience.

Fabulous product, service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble especially when getting the measurements correct.

Great experience with StairFurb, firstly i booked a video call to get some support with the type of glass that would be suitable and got a very helpful man named Fraser, he answered all questions and was knowledgeable so put my order in. A couple of months after this, as my project contained a bit more prep work I then submitted all of the final measurements and gave me a choice to have my order delivered within the next week!
Delivery driver was so friendly, rang on the day of delivery and handed the order with great care bringing it in. Gave us time to check it all over before signing for it.
Then we got straight into it I installed it by myself with my dad and it was so easy, measurements were bang on, holes pre drilled so you cant really go wrong. Within a few hours we were complete!

Great quality oak/glass and great service! Would highly recommend to anyone!

I wanted something to make my hallway look cleaner, fresher and more modern, I purchased the glass and steel kit from Stairfurb. I can honestly say it’s been a pleasure to do this project. From ordering through to the finished project it has been fantastic. Ordering was easy and the option to have a video call for measuring up gave the confidence I needed to ensure measurements were done correctly, deliver was as planned, all items present and no damage or issues. Removing the old balustrade was straightforward and fitting the new was so easy due to everything being pre cut, manufactured and it was all just so smooth, the support offered via email, chat, what’s app etc whenever you need it is brilliant, the finished project is everything i wanted.
