We enjoyed our stay and really relaxed.
The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed.
The hot tub was ready and so warm it was bliss.
Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
The on site pub wasn't open first night which wasn't really a problem but he did open on our other 2 nights, it was lovely inside and the prices were very reasonable.
No food served though mid week but we took everything needed to cook ourselves.
The site literally is in the middle of nowhere, so you must take everything needed.
My only criticism is the lights at night they are so bright outside, our bedroom seemed like we had left a dimmed light on.
We will definitely be back.

Myself and my family booked to stay at the Lincoln White Horse Lodge. We have never been so disappointed. Not only was the lodge too small for a family of five ( the photos sold on this site are taken with a wide lense camera ) but the manager on site Gary was awful, rude, and unprofessional as well as lying and contradicting.
The beds were very small and uncomfortable. The single bed my daughter slept in in discomfort, you could see every spring popping through the bed sheet. The sofa again is uncomfortable with an oversized table in front of it which you have no room to move anywhere.
We were given dirty towels and a pillow covered in yellow stains.
There is no WiFi here at all regardless you will be told that there is.
Although the lodge was clean it was very poor quality and not suitable for a family. There was no essentials provided, no hand soap, no toilet paper, no washing up liquidnor sponge. Not even a microwave.
I very rarely write a bad review but this I feel I wouldn't want another family to waste their time and money on. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but checked out after the 1st night as it was so badly managed.

Lovely, welcome, clean and tidy. Everything you needed in the kitchen area. Booked to come back again.

Great site, not too big. We had a great time this New Year we have booked to try another site next year.

Love quiet site, very clean and such comfortable beds.

Only issues were not enough towels for showers and hot tub use. And on a site like this Wi-Fi needs to be installed.

Terrible on arrival didnt know where we were staying put us in a lodge that wasn’t ready no towels not even a coat hanger in wardrobes not clean found a pan in cupboard with mouldy beans in never anyone around to speak to we couldn’t t use hot tub or shower till late afternoon the following day as still no towels and the chef ended up finding us some used hottub for a couple of hours and next day was black no one came and treated it while we were there couldn’t get in gym as needed key from reception which was never open stains all over bed and generally grubby there was a rodent trap with poison in bottom of wardrobe we were not made aware of and were staying with our dog ! We left early and had to leave keys in bar as again no manger or reception around very disappointing no ones rang me as promised and no ones answering my messages £600 wasted and not even an apology avoid would not stay again i will add the lady behind bar and chef were lovely and tried to help where they could

This lodge was very luxurious and spacious. It was lovely and clean as was the hot tub.
Some bits could be done to maintain it better to maintain the luxurious feel, such as the paintwork around door frames and a bathroom light switch that worked as it had to be kept on for all of our stay. Gary was brilliant and made us feel very welcome.

Fantastic staff nothing too much trouble very welcoming.

Amazing place with amazing people running the park very helpful at all times when my child forgot her blue inhaler, the lady and gentleman running the park where able to source her one for the weekend . Lodge was clean and tidy and partner enjoyed the fishing lake will definitely be returning.

The hot tub was hot and clean, the lodge was cosy and warm, was near to the beach, town.
Staff friendly, helpful when I changed my dates no problems at all switched it straight away

We stayed at black bull in Barmston in lodge 24 for 2 nights from Monday 23rd October, 2 Adults 2 Children. When we arrived (at 4:30) the hot tub wasn’t heating up, we reported straight away and owner advised he didn’t know how to set it but would have a look. He said it was locked and he’d sorted it but it would take a couple of hours to get warm, I checked at 6 and it was still no hotter than at 4:30 he said he would call engineer to come sort it and get it working. I checked again at 8pm still no warmer so I went to the pub to ask what was happening, the pub was closed. I knocked, the owner advised it’s too late to sort now and an engineer will be coming in the morning to fix, he did say I could bucket the water out and fill up with the hot tap if I wanted! The engineer did come in the morning and sort it and by 2pm we could use it, which was a shame as we were only there for two nights. The hot tub was under a tree so it did have a lot of leaves in it, some slimy so had been in there a long time. The lodge itself was introduced to us as the show lodge and the best on the site, I can imagine 5 years ago it probably was lovely, on the surface it looked nice but dated, but there was a rip in the Lino under the table covered up by a Matt that should be at the door to wipe your feet on when you come in so no where to take off muddy boots. There was a lot of dust on top of shelves/wardrobes and cobwebs. Under the beds were filthy not been cleaned under in a very long time and down the side of the bedside tables in the double room were thick with dust. The bedsheets in my sons room had been tucked around the bed and mould and muck was on the sheets from under the bedhead where it had been tucked up against the walls. The toothbrush holder was disgusting and still had mould and saliva from previous occupants toothbrush. The pub was also advertised as selling food however, it is just a boozer, no food so we ended up getting a takeaway the first night. The site is situated in a fantastic spot with nice walks to the beach and surrounding area. Very close to fraisthorpe and Bridlington which we love. All in all we were very disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working and the lack of enthusiasm to get it sorted was just not acceptable. The whole lodge and hot tub needs a deep clean. I have also emailed this to liv lodges and the owners and I have had no response

The lodge was great. Had everything you needed. Could do with little tlc on blinds and shower. The hot tub would be better on patio to far away from lodge.
But will return in a different lodge. W ex stayed next to lake last time. That’s where we would stay next time again. Lovely couple that manage the place. Couldn’t do enough fog you. Thank you Toni

Was not put in the log cabin that I had received pictures of as was handed over when we arrived that the log cabin boiler was out of service, the new log cabin we stopped in was nothing like the one we was expecting to stop in. We would have appreciated a phone call prior to let us know instead of putting us in one we didn’t want to be in. We wanted the ‘log cabin’ feeling.
There was no Wi-Fi and signal on the Tv was very poor, this being an issue as on an evening or rainy days we could not watch a movie. It only had normal free view channels. With luxury you would expect to be able to access Netflix’s .
There was nothing luxury about the log cabin. I definitely think you could pick somewhere else and get a lot more for your money.
Hot tubs wasn’t as hot as you would expect them to be so would have to get out and out the lid on which would take a couple of hours to warm back up.

The weekend stay was lovely.
Would like to see a gazebo/covering over the hot tub when it rains so you can still get in and enjoy it.
