Had a very constructive call with Tesco Credit card customer advisor. Information was received quickly, accurately, politely and with good humour.

Staff failed to resolve query and suggested I call back in December.
Could have made a diary note herself to action

Happy with the service

Had issues with a supplier, commitments and service failed totally, evidence supplied to Tesco yet they opted to deny chargeback. I had been a customer for 30+ years.

I was happy happy with the service

The first time I called regarding not being able to make a mobile payment the customer service representative promised that he had sorted the problem and that I would be able to make a mobile payment "in 10 minutes". The next day when my payment was declined I called again and I was told that the person I called the previous day had not activated the card, and that he would now activate and I could make mobile payments straight away. Then I received an email saying that there had been 'suspicious activity' on my account, and that I was being sent a new card. The following day, my mobile payment was again declined. I am now going to look into getting a card from somewhere else. This situation has been going on since July when Tesco closed my account without telling me because of suspicious activity. I was on a 2 week holiday at the time, and this caused me a lot of inconvenience, which has carried on ever since.

Customer service

90% of the questions had nothing to do with the problem i had had with tesco bank, so most of the answers i gave did not go with the questions, it was all a waste of time.

Poor communication levels with staff manning the phones.Difficult to understand the staff,this makes dealing with problem very lengthy.

When I eventually got through to talk to someone my issue was sorted out immediately.It’s not straightforward to speak to someone,there are a number of hurdles to jump over first

I wanted to increase my loan, & the process in the Tesco Bank app was very easy to understand & complete. There was plenty of information regarding new loans and what to do to increase your existing loan. The interest rates & an example of what you'd be paying was in the app, & the questionnaire was simple to input information. Quick process & speedy response. Money was in my account within a couple of hours.

Prompt service, good customer service and simple to use and connect.

Used a comparison website for the longest 0% credit card for purchases. Tesco came near out in the top 5.
Visited a couple of the sites in the top 5 and the Tesco information was one of the clearest to understand and no hidden clauses.
Website easy to use and decision almost immediate.

There was an error on my credit card due to a web issue while making an online purchase, that resulted in my online account purchase having been billed six times. I found it very difficult to reach a human being, 3 menus related questions, I heard my recent purchases over and over, when I finally spoke to a human being she explained what had happened bit not available via FAQ's other questions. Speaking to an automated voice that repeats please say again do you want me to repeat the question when I had a serious concern re billing. I am giving 4 stars because when I finally spoke to a human being the issue was resolved and expelled.

Very efficient, easy to speak to someone I could understand. My questions were answered vety quickly.
