I am very glad to have found Guido for my hen party. I selected the four course meal for my 17 guests, with a couple of guests who had dietary requirements but Guido was very accommodating. The food was delicious, and everyone was very complimentary. The table was set for us and the kitchen was left spotless afterwards so we did not have to worry about cleaning up. Thank you Guido and Abbie for making the night so memorable!

We hired the Cotswold Chef to cater a family party for my moms birthday and the whole experience was just wonderful. Everything was delicious, on time and the kitchen was sparkling clean at the end!

We booked Guido for my husband's 60th birthday to cook a 5 course premier menu for 16 guests. What can I say, he was exceptional and exceeded our expectations right from the word go!

He was effortless to communicate with and always quick to respond to my questions. He also adapted the menu to accommodate any special dietary requirements. He was also very punctual , delivered our meal in first class style and left our kitchen even cleaner than we he arrived!

Overall, his charm , efficiency and professionalism was only exceeded by his incredible cuisine! I can't recommend Guido enough. Hiring him for our event was the best decision we made and wouldn't hesiate to book him for any future occasion.

We used The Cotswold Chef's services for a family dinner for 6 people in our rented property. We booked at short (10 days!) notice, but Guido was "can-do" throughout, from the first email (in fact, telephone contact with him was quicker/easier than email), through to deciding on the menus, and him being happy to do an extra lateral flow test on the day itself, for our further reassurance. As soon as he arrived on the night, everything was completely taken care of, he was polite and charming throughout, and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

We booked Guido for our New Years Eve celebrations and very glad we did.
The whole experience was exceptional from the absolutely excellent canapés to the equally as good following four courses, accompanied by the service and explanation of each course and finally our kitchen left in probably a cleaner state than when he arrived.
All of our group of eight would whole heartedly recommend Guido to anyone planning a dinner party and we will have no hesitation in booking him again.

The Cotswold chef came to our Airbnb and cooked my family and I (9 people) Christmas Dinner. It wasn't your traditional dinner by any means.

From the moment I enquired about his availability, back in March, to the minute he left after lunch, Guido was the height of professionalism. He was incredibly communicative, detailed and quick to reply to every email (and there were a lot).

We were able to chose several options per course, to suit everyone's tastes. We even made specific requests; to miss certain ingredients off certain plates, and he took care of everything.

Guido served us canapés at precisely 1pm, which was our desired start time. He then cleared dishes, topped up dishes and served courses to us; we weren't allowed to lift a finger.

The organisation, food and service were simply outstanding. We cannot recommend highly enough, and thank Guido for giving us a Christmas Lunch we will always remember.

I would highly recommend chef Guido. Very professional, friendly and accommodating. Guido provides a first class experience. The food was fantastic. I traveled a lot with work and I have eaten in many fine restaurants and I could honestly say that I could not fault the food or the dining experience. He catered for my partners 70th Birthday, he kept the surprise, and worked in my small kitchen to produce a wonderful Italian meal and aperitifs. He even recommended the wine to go with the meal. It was during lockdown when you could have 6 people in the garden. Guido was happy to serve the food outside. It was an Italian themed night and a great time was had by all. We hired Guido for my friends hen do in Worcester and we couldn’t have been happier. The menu he offered catered to everyone and he was brilliant with the communication beforehand. He had quite a task on his hand catering for 15 women on his own but the food was amazing and it was a real highlight of our weekend. I would definitely recommend Guido and hope to use his services again.

The Cotswold Chef prepared and served an amazing 4 course meal for 15 people, catering for the needs of all the group, including half portions for children. They communicated with us all very well.

70th Birthday Dinner for children and grandchildren. The Cotswold Chef cooked for 9 of us on Saturday eve in a holiday home in the Water Park.
He arrived and effortlessly produced Hors D’Oeuvre and a 3 course meal, which was all delicious.
He was very personable and served the meal at the table, cleared each course and left after stacking the dishwasher and leaving a tidy kitchen. Perfect.
It was such a treat and I would definitely use The Cotswold Chef in future.

A lovely meal experience in the Cotswolds. Food was really well cooked and presented

On Saturday evening we celebrated my wife's 60th Birthday with a superb dinner prepared & cooked by Guido. The food was excellent but above all the efficiency and service provided by Guido was outstanding which made for a memorable night.

We were given the link to the Cotswold chef by Bourton on the Water info centre. Thank heavens they did. The evening meal for our Golden Wedding celebration was outstanding. It was like being in a high end restaurant without the bother of going out the door! The food, freshly prepared, was delicious and served by the chef David, in true Michelin style, giving the the details of each dish. He washed everything up and left the kitchen spotless. A wonderful evening.

Guido was friendly and helpful from start to finish, the food was outstanding, beautifully presented and delicious. We were staying at a house at Lower Mill estate and Guido already knew the property and just got on with it, leaving us to relax and enjoy ourselves.

I booked Guido to cook for an office conference. Our admin teams did not communicate very well and all throughout the organisational stage, Guido was brilliant at letting us know what was needed and stayed laid back and easy going through the whole process. On the day, Guido turned up with another chef and between the two of them, they set up everything quickly and efficiently without any input from us. The food was ready exactly when we'd asked for it, there were plenty of choices for everybody and everything was delicious. The whole team (~30 people) said how much they'd enjoyed it and there were very positive responses all round.
We would definitely use Guido's service again.
