DO NOT USE..Dreadful customer service!! I ordered a silver jewellery box for a most special event, it took 3 weeks to come, 2 weeks too late!! When I rang to ask where it was, the receptionist was very rude saying I mistook the delivery date, so I waited and waited. I rang again to ask where it was, blaming Royal Mail for the delay as my package was 'in transit' and the fact that they were busy due to it being wedding season, she reordered it for me on 'priority' .... I waited and waited. I rang, no reply, I sent an email demanding a full refund.They replied, saying they were busy due to it being wedding season and Fathers day soon and that my package was in transit. It came, 2 days later....second class...so NOT priority, in a jiffy bag with the presentation box (that I paid extra for) damaged.

I ordered a next day service over the phone. My order arrived and i was delighted with it. The gifts are perfect and look great engraved. I will buy again for sure.

Received my order which was a leaving present. When I read the reviews after I placed the order I was worried however I contacted the company via facebook which they replied letting me know when the item would be despatched. The item looks really good. Would use again.

I did what most people do, I ordered a product and then read the company's reviews online afterwards. Reading them on here didn't give me much confidence that all would be well with my order but actually, all was well and we're very pleased with the engraved tankard we ordered as a staff leaving gift.
It arrived just on time, the engraving was excellent, the presentation box was nice and I felt happy to present it to our departing employee. He liked it too which was gratifying.
I'd use this company again if we needed something similar.

Great gifts. Good customer service who helped me. I ordered some cufflinks and when they arrived the engraving and presentation box looked really good.

The crystal vase that I purchased looked fantastic, I was so pleased with the engraving and the end result. I purchased the vase for my mums Birthday and she loved it.
The product was of good quality and well made making it worth the money. The service was good and I found them helpful.

Overall I am delighted.

I ordered some hip flasks for my wedding party. The engraving was good and they were well presented. I would have given five but one was missing a funnel but they did resend it.

Placed an order for a personalised money box for my niece on 16th November 2017 for a Christmas present thinking this is plenty of time to receive it...
The order never arrived, they ordered me a replacement, this never arrived either. By this time it is a week before Christmas so asked for a refund, was told to wait 30 days for it and this never happened either. I asked them how to take my complaint further, I got my refund within a week.
The good thing is that my niece was only a few months old and doesn't know that she didn't get a decent Christmas present.
It took me almost 13 weeks from placing my order to getting my money back. But I wouldn't have let it drop. It's my hard earned money not theirs.
This experience has made me question the trust that I place in websites.
Most people ordering a personalised gift is for a reason. If you want to receive a personalised gift, go somewhere else is my advice.

I am absolutely disgusted with both the service and customer service of this company. I placed an order on the 21st Jan which has still not arrived one month later. I called in twice during this time to be told one that my order has got lost in the post and that they would fix this immediately, to then secondly been told after having to call them that my order hadn't been dispatched and I wouldn't be receiving my order for another week. After expressing my views on this to the customer service line I was then told 'to not order the person about' after asking for a refund. I will not be returning to this shop and warn anyone else to do so. Appalling!

Really bad customer service.no responce to 2 emails. Live chat not working. Facebook waste of time. Dont answer phones. Left messages with no response. eventuallygot through and Told it's in the post and it's down to royal mail. They have No tracker for postage. So no proof they posted it. Told have to wait 10 days after postage to prove it lost. I said if I can't prove they posted it how do I know when the 10 days are up.. I said I'd seen bad reviews and she said its not their company. It's another company with a simular name. Very poor attitude. Will never use again.

I ordered an item at the end of November which I have still not received nor have I had a refund!
When the first order didn't arrive I was told I needed to wait a certain amount of days so the parcel could be claimed as lost/missing. At this point I thought these things happen and as they offered to send me out a replacement I would give them another chance. Close to Christmas time and wanting to be able to give the gift I chased it up again. Once again I was told that it must have been lost by Royal Mail and that they didn't have a tracking number...it later turned out that apparently it was still in the warehouse. HMMM!
As I didn't want to wait anymore I asked for a refund and was told it went through SagePay so could take up to 28 days. No refund.....chased this up AGAIN and was told on 16th Jan that they looked into it and funnily enough on the day they were processing my refund they had a freak system glitch and it didn't go though. Shock! They thanked me for bringing it to their attention and they advised it would be re-processed. Today is 8th Feb and still no money! I have emailed again but pretty sure they have no intention of paying me back.

Looking at most of reviews I have come to the conclusion that they are massive thieving scammers and I wish I had read them before starting this ridiculous farce!

I've used this company on many of occasions and have always been very impressed with the service received. Every item I've purchased has been great quality along with the engraving. I would definitely recommend them.

Goods ordered hadn't arrived after a week. Phone line and live chat just a sham as always closed and no response to emails until a disparaging comment was left on their facebook page. Their response was goods had been dispatched a couple of days earlier for 3-5 day delivery. Two weeks later still no show and still no response to further two e-mails.

Just instructed my credit card company to recover funds and re-imburse me and notified Trading Standards.

DO NOT TRUST POSITIVE 5 STAR REVIEWS. They are likely to have been placed by the company themselves given there similarity.

Ordered a gift for my friend's wedding on the 31st August (I was flying out the 9th September) and paid £4.99 for the Royal Mail 48 delivery which should've taken 1-2 working days.

It is now the 19th September, the wedding is over and I still have not received the item.

I have called them twice and they have assured me the item was out for delivery on the 7th. Was advised to contact my local sorting office who can't do anything as delivery hasn't even been attempted so I don't have a tracking or parcel number!

Also, I can't log this until Thursday (10 working days since dispatch) and when asked how long would it take after to receive the item, she said it'll follow the same process as before!

Diabolical. You pay the extra for delivery on the promise that the product would be delivered but it appears it's quite common that no one receives their orders.

Do not order from this site.

Terrible service all round. I placed an order for 5 engraved hip flasks on the 7th of August. Their website advertises a standard dispatch time of 3-5 working days. When I checked on the status of the order on the 16th (8 working days later) I was informed that the order was still with production and would be released that day or the day after. I followed up on the 21st of August to be told it had been dispatched and would be arriving imminently, two days later I called again, still no delivery made and it's clear that the customer service team have no idea where the parcel is (you won't be surprised to hear that the promised return call to provide me with an update never materialised and I had to chase).

I'd advise anyone to shop around and stay well clear of The Engraved Gifts Company, there are plenty of other businesses out there providing the same service who are capable of on time production, delivery and helpful customer service.

Absolutely disgusting service ordered an engraved photo frame at the beginning of July for a wedding on the 15th of July. The frame finally arrived at the beginning of August after many emails to customer service. I will never use this company again!

Quality of the engraved hip flask I received was poor. The leather did not meet the top or bottom metal work so you could see the glue, the leather did not sit flush with the metal work. The engraving is not very neatly done with a number of letters having scratches outside of the letter. I would not use them again. It did arrive in just over a week.

I would suggest that anyone thinking of using this company for any important gift purchase, such as for a wedding or special anniversary, should think again and use a company that can actually promise what they say they can deliver!

I ordered what I considered to be a 'unique' picture frame for a friend's wedding. It was ordered on the 18th May 2017 for a wedding on the 3rd June. Plenty of time - or so you would think. The Engraved Gifts Company told me that my order was posted out on the 26th May and that it should take between 2 and 5 days.

Yesterday, 3rd June, I attended the wedding minus the gift that still hasn't turned up - perhaps the royal mail are walking my delivery from Coventry to my address!

I ordered from these clowns before I had checked the reviews on Trust Pilot and it would seem that many others have experienced delivery issues and, for a company selling the this type of product, delivery problems are totally unacceptable.

DONT USE THESE CLOWNS IF YOU NEED DELIVERY BY A SET DATE - YOUR ITEM WILL PROBABLY BE LATE OR NEVER SHOW UP AT ALL.

I cannot comment on the quality of the item I ordered as it hasn't turned up yet and I have a feeling that it never will. In this and many other cases where a gift is for a 'special' occasion, the cost doesn't matter and getting a refund is irrelevant - all that matters is that it shows up BEFORE the date of the special occasion and not several days later or not at all.

UPDATE: Today 12th June and this company has told me that I can expect a full refund in the next 30 days - they never even sent the order out in the first place - I expect the refund minus the postage and I think that could be their 'scam'. See what happens in the next month. JUST DONT USE THESE JOKERS.

UPDATE: Today 12th July and I have waited the stated 30 days for my poxy refund from these clowns and guess what - nothing. I have sent them my final email. If I don't get the refund by the end of the week then its going to have to be a call to my credit card company and a swift mail to trading standards (not that they will give a toss). Once again I say loud and clear - DONT USE THIS COMPANY.
