Had read reviews regarding delivery issues and mentioned this before placing order. Problem was acknowledged but was assured that the issue was solely caused by a German supplier who had moved premises over Christmas. Was told my order was coming from Ireland and they were no issue. Was told 2 week maximum delivery time, which I was OK with.

After placing order I got a follow up mail giving me an expected delivery date. It was within the 2 weeks so fine.

Delivery date came and went, no further communication.

I called in and was promised a phone call back once they had chased the delivery to let me know what was going on.

Later that day, no phone call but instead an email telling me that the scheduled delivery that I had been waiting on for over 2 weeks was now not only not scheduled, the product on their site was in fact discontinued and had never in fact been scheduled for delivery.

Those was blamed on a miscommunication, although I struggle to see how "sorry its discontinued" can be miscommunicated into "it will be there on the 20th". Guess their Irish accent must have been REALLY strong or something. Or maybe it was all bull. Who can say.

Got offered a bunch of links for alternatives but had had enough of the nonsense so just asked for refund. Let's see how long that happens and hope the written instruction doesn't get miscommunicated as well.....

Took payment but never delivered. No updates regarding where the lights were until i raised it with customer service. Eventually gave up and requested a refund.

Amazing price and quality. Our electrician commented that they were great lights that I chose. Delivery was quick and price was half price. Will definitely return and communication was really good from Steven. Thanks

Where I ordered three sets of ceiling lights two in stock one needed to be ordered .
Received all three after four days packed nicely and undamaged
Prices very reasonable and website easy to read
Nothing negative to report and after installing happy how they look

Really happy with the clearance lamps I bought ,great price and no damages when received. They where really well packaged full wrapped up in padded air bags and cardboard,best packing ever!.
Will defo be buy from this company again. Good communication as well and they did not take long to post them.

Delivery time was changed 5 times because light fitting was faulty.

When light fitting eventually arrived it was still faulty and my electrician advised against fitting.

Customer service was awful from both Nick and Steve who constantly made promises and failed to deliver.

The cost to me with wasted time and rebooking the electrician to fit the lights far exceeded the cost of the lights which were not cheap.

I gave up talking to TLS after about 10 emails. It was not so much the wasted time and costs incurred that annoyed me, but their refusal to accept any responsibility and my lack of trust in them. I did not want to waste any more time with a company I do not trust. They failed to provide the service advertised and the service I paid for.

I am issuing a charge back with my card provider.

Please try another provider and do not use this company.

Item was received damaged. The plastic cord had been damaged, with exposure of wire.
Shockingly when I spoke to them this was not a standard, please return and we will replace instead I ended up paying for a return as I didnt want to spend any more time on a company that makes it this difficult to do business with.

I ordered some unusual spotlights that were manufactured in Germany. Unfortunately when I came to put them up, I found that one of the shades was broken. Steve was extremely helpful in dealing with this problem and I was quickly sent a replacement. Communication about my order was excellent throughout. I would definitely recommend this company both for the range and quality of the products on offer and the excellent customer service.

I used PayPal to buy some lights with these guys, which defaulted to my old address for some reason that was probably my fault. The problem was I only realised that when I received my DPD ‘delivering today’ message.

I emailed TLS customer service who jumped to in minutes, managed to turn the DPD van back to depot with my London-bound package and a refund was organised super quickly allowing me to rebuy the lights in time for the birthday I was buying it for.

Unusually brilliant Customer service, thank you Nick and Jade. I couldn’t recommend this business more.

I posted a review on this company a while ago, when the replacement PIR sensor in one of my Saxby Salde light units packed up after a short time. I have to say that the response from the Lighting Superstore was prompt and very co-operative. They quickly sent me two replacements, because both had failed during the guarantee period(s).

Recently, one of the light units itself failed (still within the two-year guarantee period), and after I had uploaded a photo of the failed unit, the Lighting Superstore arranged for a replacement from Saxby. Very impressive service from the Lighting Superstore.

It's a pity that the Salde units aren't as reliable as you might expect. They're powder-coated aluminium so there are no problems with rust, and the lamp units look so much better than the nasty cheapo units you see everywhere. The best thing about them is you can set the lights to a Warm White colour temperature, again beating the harsh white products sold by the opposition.

Fingers crossed that they keep working this time. I do like them. and want them to keep going (like Land Rovers).

Recently purchased a ceiling light and two wall lights. The delivery was prompt and their after sales service was even quicker

Bought two table lamps recently and had a small issue with one of the lamps. I spoke to Nick at TLS and he immediately had the supplier send a replacement to him. He didn't just send out the replacement to me but unpacked it at his shop and did his own QC to make sure it was in perfect condition.
He then arranged for the pickup of my slightly imperfect lamp and sent out the replacement which I received by FedEx the next day - Brilliant !
Really couldn't ask for better service.

I don't often leave reviews but much impressed in using Lighting superstore for first time. Outside lights and Led bulbs were exactly what I had ordered, delivered quickly and beautifully packaged.

Purchased 3 of these lights for bathroom, 1 has decided to give up after 3 years. The factsheet says 30,000 hours over lifetime, is this 2 or 5 years? (LS only give a 2yr warrany) have to take out a 3yr ext. warranty which I assume is to pay extra, so for this light to give up after this short time I would need to leave the light on for 27 hours per day. Even over 5 years you would need to leave it on for 16 hours a day. Who spends that long in the bathroom? No goodwill gesture forthcoming from LS or the manufacturer Saxby. They just want your money, no after sales service at all.

Very very poor quality of light which came scratched but they sent us replacements which came cut damaged and scratched again.
I believe they getting them from Temu.

I ordered a pole light 'New Orleans' and paid over £300 for it. Delivery was delayed again and again. They said had been received w broken glass. When eventually del it was packed and never been opened, glass was intact well-packed in the centre of the original unopened box. Unnecessary parts were included. Assembly instructions were incorrect diagrams were for another product - final proper assembly impossible. Having to machine a new part to do so. They are just parcel pushers with no technical ability. Difficult to contact, they neglect prompt (or any) replies to queries & make things as difficult to rectify as possible...slippery excuse- based passer-off-ers . Find another supplier.

Good quality lights delivered quickly. One of the shades was damaged on delivery but this was quickly resolved and a replacement sent. Would recommend.

The quality of our lights have been really good and mostly they arrived well. Communication could have been better. Some of our order arrived and other parts didn't and there was no communication about that from the company. When I rang, they were great and sent them straight out.

I was a bit dubious after l’d read some of the poor reviews about this company. But l can only speak as l find. I ordered a bathroom light for my Mum l received an email almost immediately to say my order had been received and being dealt with. 24 hours later l was contacted to say my light was with the courier and another 24 hours later my light was on its way and l was given a 3hour slot when my delivery was due. It arrived as expected. I was very pleased with customer service and very happy with the whole experience.
l would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Thank you.
