The staff at The Whiteley Clinic are fabulous. They put you at ease straight away and nothing is too much trouble. The surgeon was fantastic and I was constantly updated on the procedure all the way through. The whole procedure was professionally carried out but with an air of humour. I would thoroughly recommend The Whiteley Clinic.

The staff were all friendly and professional. I was reassured and 'warned' in advance at every step of the procedure of any possible slight discomfort. It turned out there is nothing to worry about, no more than the slight sting of a needle, contrary to a claim by some random person I met in a shop who told me that laser ablation surgery was "painful"! Ten days after the treatment I was jogging for two miles, and at two-and-a-half weeks the improvement I had in a venous ulcer was substantial, with a scab formed over the whole area. At thirty days the healing was such that standing still was just as comfortable as lying down.

I was nervous about the procedure, but I shouldn't have worried as I was put at ease as soon as I arrived. Everything was fully explained at the start and throughout the surgery.

Omar and his team were excellent they explained everything and made you feel at ease during the procedure. If I had to comment on anything it would be Omar’s singing !
