We noticed a red warning light on our solar battery, the engineers attended the next day to investigate the issue and identify what the fault was. TGP took away the battery and dealt directly with the manufacturer to arrange a repair or replacement, it was concluded that a new battery was being issued so we had the replacement sorted in under two weeks, which was excellent service.

Took out a 10 year plan for our solar panel system promised 48hrs response on any brakedown of equipment and replacement if needed cost £3600 which they wanted the first visit so appointment made for the system to be checked over panels cleaned lad's turned up late for appointed time but must admit they let me know about delay wanted part of the system renewing but hadn't got the part on the van will order it and fit it next week following week got a call from TGP office "the vans broken down" hopefully be with you later in the day or tomorrow no one showed up rang the TGP office rebooked for following week day comes again no show rang TGP office oh your rebooked for next month now as if it doesn't matter because our system wasn't heating our water we was struggling and informed them it wasn't good enough and I wanted the replacement part fitted and working by the end of the week appointment made for end of the following week which was achieved so now all back to normal wait for next years service no out of the blue whilst we was at a family celebration on a Sunday evening gets a phone call from TGP a surveyor will visit tomorrow carry out a check on the building can't get technician out to do repairs in 48hrs but can get a surveyor here unannounced in under 12 hours when surveyor turned up I informed her I wasn't happy about the short notice and that I had not signed up for this service just for the solar system to be looked after and to inform her office of my concerns one month later another call from TGP wanting to book another surveyor told them just had one done don't need another that was 2 weeks ago yesterday Sunday again another phone call from TGP wanting to make an appointment for yet another surveyor by now I am getting a bit stressed so told them I don't want to see another surveyor "oh I'll put you down for next year" we'll see what happens next but if I get anymore unsolicited calls from TGP I'll be contacting my solicitor for harassment so pros and cons of TGP workmen that visit are polite cons they sell you a plan then try to arrange other work at vastly inflated prices which won't be happening on my property as I have my own builders so if I know now before taking out a plan with TGP I would definitely shop around unless things change I will not be renewing

Very helpful advisers whenever I contacted the company & if they needed to call you back they always did. The installers were very professional, there was a problem connecting the inverter to the internet which needed about 5 visits trying different things until the problem was solved but they came with no complaints until they got it to connected, can't fault their professionalism. Thank you so much one & all

Have had several unsolicited calls from this company claiming our solar panel installer had gone into receivership and they offered an engineer to call service our panels etc. Our installers have not gone into receivership. I insisted we did not require a visit from them. I have had three calls since ,they block their number so I am unable to block them. Very persistent. nuisance calls.

We wanted an inverter replaced which we had the part for & bird netting possibly a maintenance plan, we happily signed up for this. Then the problems started. Somebody who said he was a compliance officer when he rang turned up he said we needed some fire protection thing, again fair enough. He also said our power was running at 248v instead of 240 so we needed a voltage optimiser, now this is where the problems started, this was incorrectly wired in so they sent somebody out to rectify it. We then suddenly started using 10 times the electricity we normally use, I'm not even exaggerating, we ended up having our power cut off by UK Power Network in the middle of all this. We ended up getting a local electrician in to take it out. Total waste of money.
This isn't all, we also signed up for a boiler maintenance plan, they rang a couple of days later to arrange an inspection one slight problem my boiler is a gas boiler..... We cancelled this & got our money back just within the time frame.
This wasn't the end of it, I posted a review at the time, stating all the above & got a phone call pretty much asking me to amend my review to remove all my negative comments as it affects their business & promised me £500 in compensation for my problems.
I'M STILL WAITING FOR IT.
I now keep getting phone calls that they want to come & inspect the ventilation in my loft WHY, THERE IS NOTHING IN MY LOFT RELATING TO MY SOLAR PANELS OR BATTERY!!
PLEASE DON'T CONTACT ME AGAIN AND NO I WON'T TAKE THIS POST DOWN.

Had problem with our panels got a same day call out everything was fully explained and we was advised to have a maintenance plan in place for future issues, was very impressed with the price and Tony who came round, thanks guys

Installers very friendly and knowledgeable,sorted everything out with a smile.

After having my original invertor fried by an electrical storm, I contacted TGP, who came, gave me a quote for a new one, on which I agreed.
After the work was completed, I agreed to also take out a 5 year maintenance contract.
On contemplating this, I decided to cancel my maintenance contract and contacted the company requesting a refund.
This was in June 2026, and, after numerous emails and promises from them, I have received nothing. I am now in the process of claiming through the courts.
BEWARE! This must put the bona fides of this company into question

Clear explanation of the problem and what was required to resolve the issue.
Breakdown of cost of materials, timescales were convenient.
The work was completed within the given time frame and the fitters were excellent.

Very polite engineers, got straight on with the job and asked me if I happy with the work at each stage

I requested to relocate my batterys and charger from my loft to a brick building in my garden.
After contacting TGP who installed the system, it was arranged to carry out the move, a few days later two engineers arrived and carried out the job in a very professional way, all was completed in a few hours, making sure that all was working OK.
A call back a few days later to confirm that all was OK.

My solar panel system stopped working in January 2026. Since then I have been trying to get it repaired. Companies I contacted insisted on my having scaffolding erected before they would come and look at the system. I finally found a company on the internet, Switchable, and they arranged for TGP to contact me for a free survey. They came the next day, explained what was wrong and told me what they would do to repair it. Two very pleasant and competent young men, Alfie and Harrison, came the next working day and repaired the system, accessing the roof using only a ladder. They worked very efficiently, without a break everything seems to be working correctly again. I would certainly recommend TGP to anyone having a problem with their solar panel system.

TGP provided an excellent level of service in all respects. their staff were knowledgeable and professional in all respects.

Unsolicited phone calls. I have no history with TGP, and do not want to deal with them. But they want to do do free assessment on my solar system? Does TGP not subscribe to the Telephone Preference Service? Where do they get my details from? Industry regulator is clearly not doing his job either!. Looks like pressure selling to me.

our heat pump has been doing for some time, our contract with think green partners has finally got the heat pump working! This is the first time in a long while we have found a company to trust and who stick to their word

would recommend think green in the future, we had our system serviced and now working again

Good so far. They've identified the problem with my batteries which has been stopping them charging properly.

They do still have to come back with the part and install it in a couple of weeks so I am looking forward to having a fully functioning system again then.

I had issues with my solar panel system showing zero output which was traced to a faulty inverter, a vital part of the system. I contacted Think Green from a Google search and within a few days a new inverter was fitted.
Very satisfying. Avery efficient company who handled the process quickly and professionally
