Our kitchen floor was in a seriously bad way and we didn’t know where to begin to sort it out. After Barry’s work, it looks fantastic - the difference is unbelievable and the tiles and grout look beautiful. In fact, it looks like a brand new floor. Barry’s tiling experience definitely helped with what wasn’t a run-of-the-mill problem to solve.

Barry and his team were really helpful throughout the process. They dealt with our many questions about the tiles and offered gentle suggestions. They were very good at taking care of the house/carpet as they moved equipment around and we appreciated their help with clearing the kitchen. When the work showed there was another issue that needed to be sorted out (which explained a lot), Barry pulled out the stops so it could be done as one job, although I think this made his Christmas week busier than it should have been. We also really appreciated the work being completed before Christmas and this flexibility from Barry and his team. Customer service from head office was also good.

Tom came to remove some mastic from our porcelain tiles after a glass room installation. He was absolutely brilliant! Went over and above what we expected him to do and came to sort it out very quickly for us before Christmas. Can't recommend him enough!

First class contract from ordering to delivery as always

Steve was very good at communicating and Tile Doctor as a company were also very good at letting me know what was happening. We had spilled red wine on our Portuguese limestone fireplace. So it was a large area with splashes too. Steve was brilliant and cleaned the whole fireplace and then sealed it for us. It looks as good as new now. Don’t be put off by the quote - it can seem a little expensive but get what you pay for - quality job and my fireplace was in safe hands. Thank you Steve - I have already recommended you to a friend.

The guy that did the work was very professional, got on with the job and was very tidy. He kept me up to date at all times with the appointment. The floor looked great after he’d finished with the tiles looking so much brighter and the colours standing out. It was definitely worth doing although I did think the cost was a bit pricey.

For personal reasons this review is some 6 months late. However, our experience of using Tile Doctor is well worth sharing.

If we could give 6 stars we would. From start to finish it was impossible to find fault. Our shower developed some black staining on the floor shortly after it was installed. For several years we tried various off the shelf products to no avail. In desperation we decided we needed specialist help and googled Tile Doctor.

We sent photographs of the shower by email and by return were put in contact with Tom, our local man. He diagnosed the problem and recommended a solution with the caveat that it may not work. With nothing to lose we agreed to try it and arranged a date for Tom to do the work.

On the day he again advised us that it might not be 100% successful but after his efforts we ended witha shower as good as when it was installed. And 6 months later it is still as good.

We would also add that Tom was one of those people that you wish all your workmen were like. He was with us for most of the day and repeatedly going in and out of the house. He just got on with the job, got his head down and we hardly knew he was there.

Initial communication was excellent and all our questions were answered carefully. During the work, Lucas and Steve were extremely polite, pleasant and considerate. They worked carefully and neatly, making sure that furniture and skirtings were covered so nothing got damaged in the process. They worked quietly, the work was not rushed and done to a very good standard. I would highly recommend them.

Jack Day was fantastic. He was a expert in his field and has made my bathroom look brand new. He even took the time to explain each step and what to expect. I have already recommended him to my family. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Matthew surveyed the job of renovating our 100+ year-old hall tiles and then did an excellent job. He was very professional and explained the process fully and we can't rate him highly enough. Very happy to recommend him.

Steve cleaned, repaired and restored our 20+ year old travertine tile floor, which covers the kitchen and hallway. He worked diligently with great skill and expertise going over each individual tile - no detail was too small. An absolutely comprehensive job.
I would recommend the Tile Doctor service without hesitation. Our tile floor has had such a new lease of life that we have changed the colour scheme that we were going to re-decorate with!

Excellent experience. Took a huge amount of detailed care with our floor. Brought very old grout and tiles back up to a great standard. Also explained future care very well. Very tidy afterwards and job completed on time! No complaints at all!

Suzana and her colleague were extremely professional. They informed us what work needed to be done and why and were very adaptable to our needs. We required the job to be done at short notice due to an upcoming kitchen refurbishment and they managed to find us a space on a weekend despite such short notice.

They were very thorough and provided us with great advice as to how to mantain the cement tiles we have in future.
