Here I am again, writing a poor review for Vauxhall Toomey Basildon

My previous reviews seemed to of been removed.

Customer service as Toomey Vauxhall Basildon repairs … appalling, along with the manager who seem to ignore my emails, they have had my car for 10 months (bar 2 weeks in January when I paid my bill) they have it back as the part “fixed” wasn’t correct so had to order another. Here I am 7 months down the line still without my car. Finance is due to end in sept 2026 and no confirmation of proof they are chasing the part as they have told me a number of times. WHY the delay!!! You know I want to hand the car back to Stellantis I paid my bill and I can’t hand it back until road worthy. It is out of my hands. I need a call today

Very disappointing, tried phoning 3 times, 2 of those times I was on the phone for over an hour with no joy . I just want to book my car in after problems after my service with them . They also told me i needed 3 new tyres and they can fit them while i wait , i declined and took it to another garage who told me only 1 tyre is illegal . Which makes me wonder why i was told I need 3 new tyres . I certainly wont be getting a vauxhall again with the service they offer

I bought a new MG ZS last week and had very professional care from both Steve and George in the sales office. I cannot rate them both enough for their expert care and kindness. After a stressful start they were able to iron out the creases and I have now had my dream car. A week later and I am in love with it. They are both a credit to Toomy's MG Basildon.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received from Chris, Connor, and Jack during my visit to the Vauxhall (Toomey Motor Group) Centre in Laindon. From the moment I arrived, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and care.
Chris guided me through the entire process with clarity and courtesy. Before I even reached the reception area, he was already there to welcome me and introduce me to Jack, who had all my paperwork prepared and ready for signing. The handover to Connor was seamless, and he completed the airbag recall work far quicker than I expected, with impressive efficiency.
The level of coordination, teamwork, and customer care displayed by these three gentlemen was remarkable. They made the entire experience smooth, stress‑free, and genuinely pleasant.
My heartfelt thanks to the entire team at the Vauxhall (Toomey Motor Group) Centre in Laindon.
Chris, Connor, and Jack, you guys were truly outstanding.

Shay at Toomys Vauxhall in Basildon in excellent. She is friendly, calm and warm and does a great job. She's super organised and very knowledgeable. You just feel like your car is in good hands and she keeps you updated

Following on from my review from last week and the response from Toomey, having spent £2k two weeks ago for a new ECU and already returned to Dunton Vauxhall following an issue 3 days after my car being “fixed” it was fobbed off that nothing was wrong. Well it returned to Dunton yesterday for further checks, apparently a load of codes that are being cleared and why is left is basically the ECU that should have been coded to my specific car HASNT!! Now awaiting further info from Vauxhall on what the next steps are! Could be several days…. I’m still without a car after 4 MONTHS! And no courtesy car! The manager clearly is not interested in replying to my emails today or calling me as requested! I still cannot get to my place of work for an office day to work around my children’s school times! Absolutely disgusted by the service I have received. No goodwill gesture!
People need to start avoiding these places it’s nothing but agg!! Considering I have stupidly been a loyal customer for 15 years!
