Ordered 2 items in 21 August and still waiting on them. Have contacted customer service on 3 separate occasions and no reply. What do I do next

I placed 2 orders for kids clothes for my granddaughters but received nothing. I did get an email saying they were experiencing difficulties but nothing happened.
Made a claim through my bank and would you believe, they are challenging the claim!
I would love to know what grounds they are using to challenge the request.

Do not order from this company. I would not give this company any stars if that were an option. I ordered a dress on 10 August and nothing has arrived. One email came a while after the order saying there were warehouse issues. Having chased a few times, no response has been forthcoming. They do not appear to be in business and the website is down. I have escalated this to my bank to try to get my money back

BEWARE. Turtledovelondon took an order from me, and took my money, after their company had been dissolved at Companies House. I never got my item. My bank has initiated a charge-back and I'm hoping I'll get refunded, but this has already dragged on since July and it's now almost the end of September 2026. They may have been now been bought out, as the newsletter is displaying a trustpilot score of over 4, and here is has it as 2.4 currently. I'd avoid this company completely.

Checked reviews prior to ordering from this website and generally were positive, so I place a substantial order on 13th August but still awaiting an update on order or a refund. I have contacted customer services twice for an update but haven't received any comms. Website also appears to have gone down so not feeling hopeful about ever receiving my order or a refund!

Returned two t shirts for a refund but never received the money. The t shirts were nice, just too big. Emailed this company several times to chase up but have never heard back!

This company no longer seems to be operating and haven't informed customers.

There is a severe lack of communication from customer services. I have sent several emails and they have been ignored.

Terrible company. I retuned items I ordered weeks ago and still haven’t received a refund or any communication. No contact number for customer services and no response to emails sent. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a dress in July, had to return it due to it not fitting well. Never got any acknowledgement of my return arriving with them (despite me knowing it was there as I had tracked it with Royal Mail). Company ignored me on every attempt at a resolution, so in the end had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. Their website is down so unlikely anyone can order from them, but avoid!

I returned an item over a month ago. And despite the tracking showing the item was received by them I’ve received no confirmation of return and no reply to my emails for weeks.

Avoid this company.

Ordered a dress in a large and couldn’t get my arms through the arm holes, I’m size 14 with not particularly large arms so I was a bit disappointed. Returned the dress at my own expense, tracked it, I know it was received over 6 weeks ago and I still haven’t had my refund. They do not respond to any of my emails. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! They owe me £60.

I returned 2 items on 14th August which I paid for, no reply from the company took my money have read they have gone into liquidation, what can I do??

I made a considerable order 6 weeks ago and despite being informed that there is a delay in getting stock out I have not received my order, communication or a refund since! Now the website has gone down. What do I do?

**Do not place an order, they have apparently gone in to liquidation. They should be prosecuted if they are still selling**

I loved the clothes but have had a lot of problem with refunds. No response to e mails even though tracking of my return shows that it arrived.
If I receive a response and resolution then I will update this review but It seems that they are failing to respond.

I've received no refund after returning items over a month ago. I've contacted customer service several times and received no response. Terrible customer service!

I want to love this company as I do think the quality of the clothes is good... however after repeat purchases over the course of the 4 years, I have been put off ordering again by the poor customer service and lack of a refund for a lost return. I do understand that the Return policy states that returns are at the risk of the customer, but the manner in which my query was dealt with was rude and shortsighted.

Turtledove London has gone into liquidation, however up until 2nd October they still had their website running and were taking orders. I placed an order with them on 15th August, did not receive the goods and customer services do not answer emails. Be aware, that's £42 of my money paid to them and no goods

I ordered trousers which were not suitable on arrival - the material was very cheap as you would expect from somewhere like SHEIN.
I returned the item via tracked post, and never received confirmation of receipt from Turtledove, nor did I receive a refund. Over a 3 week period I emailed customer services outlining the issue on several occasions, and heard nothing back. I have therefore lost out on all the money spent on the trousers, initial postage and return. Avoid this company.

Returned two items a month ago and have had no refund or communication despite multiple emails and a message on Instagram. Will continue to message until I get a response, but despite being a regular customer I would not order from them again.

Initially I had a good experience with an order earlier this year. My items were received reasonably quickly. I returned one item and received my refund with no issues. I had checked their rating and reviews beforehand. So when I ordered more items again late July I didn't think to check reviews again. I now see that their rating has dropped significantly with delayed orders.
Something is amiss for sure. I'lI be pursuing a refund, but don't hold out much hope that they will do the right thing. Thankfully my spend was only £30 for two items in their sale.
Not cool to take people's money if they have ceased trading.
