Was a Ucraft customer for 4 years
was a Ucraft customer for 4 years. I used their platform to build and run the website for my social enterprise, a cloud kitchen here in Ireland. For the entire duration of those 4 years, they never once hiked my price. Not once. In a world where every SaaS company seems to creep up pricing every renewal cycle, Ucraft just quietly kept delivering.
The platform itself did exactly what I needed. Clean, simple, reliable. No unnecessary complexity. It just worked. And whenever I needed support, they were responsive and helpful.
I have recently had to move on because my business needs evolved and I now require a more integrated app and ordering system. That decision had nothing to do with Ucraft's quality or service. They were excellent throughout.
To Gev and the team: thank you for 4 solid years. I genuinely respect what you are building and I hope you go from strength to strength. You deserve to. Companies that treat their customers with this kind of loyalty and fairness are rare, and people notice.

Full of bugs and no help to solve them
Full of bugs, poor customer service, my website was down for security reasons most of the times. I was basically paying for a service no one was using, the customers wouldn't visit the website for security reasons. No help to solve issue. Can't even chat with customer service as their software detects a space character avec the @, even if there is none, so I can't chat with customer service. On all levels, plenty of problems with no technical support. You pay for a non-existing service. Waste of ressources spent to build the website, so over 20 hours of design and such, and then you pay monthly fees for a website no one dares to visit for security problems.
Deleted my account erroneously for…
Deleted my account erroneously for supposed non payment. CS corrected the error but I can only access it through my email. No one else can access it and now CS won't respond after numerous attempts by me. I am canceling.
CRITICAL Data Loss & Non-Existent Support for a Paid Service
I am writing this review after several days of trying to resolve a critical issue with Ucraft: the complete disappearance of my paid website.
The Problem:
My site was active, under an Essentials Plan. The site vanished from their servers without any action on my part.
The Unacceptable "Resolution":
After opening a ticket (#60860), the support team's final response was that their technical team "is currently unable to locate your site within our database." The ticket was then immediately closed.
This response is unacceptable for a paid hosting service. The site's existence and my payment are proven by the invoice showing the transaction ID and the site name.
A hosting company must be able to track the data of a site tied to an active subscription.
The Support Failure:
Since then, all attempts to re-open the issue or communicate via email have been met with silence. There is no live chat, no phone support that provides help, and the team will not reply to emails regarding the escalated issue.
This is a clear case of severe data integrity failure combined with non-existent customer support for a paying customer.
Ucraft must take immediate responsibility for locating and restoring my website from a backup. Closing a data loss case because you "cannot find the data" is not a solution.
I highly caution anyone considering Ucraft to be aware of their severe lack of accountability and the risk of catastrophic data loss.

Never got prorated my difference for upgrading my annual pro shop account so I essentially had to pay twice. No customer support could prorate me the difference. Ridiculous.

Initially I really liked Ucraft, but no service or access to website
Initially I really liked the company and the free hosting. Then the free hosting became a paid hosting, which is fine. But for $100 a year, I can no longer access my website to do anything (including edits for broken links etc) and the only support option is a bot that neither connects to a human nor solves the issues. I'm disappointed but I now have to redo my website on another provider, but the plus side is that I can get a better website on a cheaper plan with better service elsewhere.

Ucraft (now under SoftConstruct umbrella) used to work well. Not anymore! Just AI non sense a poor customer service. 6 days with an expired domain because of their mistake. They told me to buy a new domain because they can't solve it. Imagine that!
There is no real time support
There is no real time support, it’s always after hours. That is very frustrating.

I absolutely love Ucraft
I absolutely love Ucraft! Outside of the ease they give to create your dream website, their customer service is superb! I just finished speaking with Ellen and she helped me with my website - something I could never have done on my own. They have this neat feature where if you give them access to your site, they can fix your problems. I also love their surprise deals, like Halloween promos and one free custom domain. I love Ucraft, you will really love them too!

I truly enjoy uCraft. Been site building here since 2021. The ability to customize your site's features goes beyond what any other website builder offers. I have absolutely pushed the limits with my creative content. It doesn't feel like work, in fact it's quite fun. I've been able to iterate without limit, organize my ideas, and build upon my company prototypes and assess engagement. SEO tools are helpful. Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to find efficient solutions to assist any issues that arrive. Prices are also reasonable and it seems their products are ever-evolving, all while the initial products are not being phased out and still accessible and still impressive in their offerings! Much constructive details and instructions are available in help sections and even from the forums from other customers' experiences -once you encounter a fork in the road, you won't be lost for long as the directives are certainly user-friendly and simple to understand. The company is also quite generous with their server space and specialized functionalities. Suits all my purposes. I've been challenged to learn some coding and uCraft has definitely supported my understanding of website innerworkings. I won't go anywhere else :) Happy here.

Great customer support, still difficult to use.
I have been using adobe's macromedia for many years to develop websites so I thought I would try UCraft for a change. They do have very nice templates, but I had great difficulty with certain aspects of the program. The good news is customer support is very good and quite responsive, the bad news is I had many many questions. After 5 days I still do not have the website that I want, but it is acceptably close. It's not sophisticated, in terms of modern websites, and the mobile representation of the site is not acceptable.
Really bad product and service
Really bad product and service. It charged cost from me but I can not use the product, and the website always had problem loading the right page. What it always does is to lead you to the payment page and it will only wants to get money from you but does not provide any service. The 24/7 support is just a joke, when you have a problem, you can not find anyone from the support team, neither a reply. I do not recommend and will add this company to my black list. Feel really angry, because I cannot get my money back.

Not helpful enough, not really giving a viable option for a matter where I specifically described my request, regarding showcasing a product configurator, with a mandatory upload feature (which by the way it is an option in the dev tab), which simply won't work. I've been referred to use a form type instead of the product configuration from Ucrafts eshop
