Disappointed
I had really high expectations for this website. Ordered 2 wallpaper samples, which never arrived. Emailed the company who did then resend them, however they weren't samples of the actual wallpaper. They were samples of the material and the picture was what I ordered but it wasn't to scale or full size so very difficult to see what it would look like when on the wall, despite the small square showing 'actual size' in the corner, which looked grainy and blurred anyway. Unfortunately went with a different company instead which is a shame as I loved their designs.

First of all I would like to apologise that the first sample order got lost in the post and for any inconvenience this may have caused.
In relation to the samples you received, they were samples of the actual wallpaper on your chosen wallpaper type. Due to our wallpapers being made-to-measure we can’t provide to scale samples for every sample order as each wall has different dimensions. Furthermore, we look to include the majority of each design in a sample to ensure that all areas of the mural are seen before ordering. If we were to scale the samples up you would only get a small section of the design and its colours. We introduced a 100% crop box on the right hand side of the sample that shows the mural to the scale of an average wall. This is to give you an indication of the print quality of your chosen design. In this case you were not happy with the print quality and chose not to order. This is the purpose of our samples, we provide actuate samples to ensure that our customers are happy with the print quality of the mural they are looking to order.
Finally, before we add any designs to our website we ensure they are of optimal print quality, if they are not, we will not add the design. We have strict print quality standards and print to 600 dpi which is more than our competitors. The two designs you ordered samples of are indeed on other websites, however, this also means that are using the same source design file so their prints will either be of the same quality or less.

Great design but some shrinkage
Lovely design and good delivery. We bought the heavy grade paper as wanted best quality. Paper shrunk a little on the wall. Looked lovely when first hung but pulled away and shrunk leaving gaps and seams that weren’t there when hung. Lovely design but a little disappointing.

Thank you for your review. I’m very disappointed to hear that your wallpaper has shrunk. With a paste-the-wall wallpaper that is very rare and is only usually caused when the central heating is turned on before the paste has had time to dry, therefore, causing it to shrink.

As someone who has purchased and…
As someone who has purchased and installed wallpaper on a number of occasions, I am really disappointed to have to write this review.
I was very excited to have found the Wispy Cloud wallpaper as it was exactly what I had envisioned for my daughters nursery. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed since the moment I started the process of purchasing. The chat support was amazing and very responsive, but whenever I needed to talk to the design team or anyone via email, it would take them 5+ business days to respond. So the ordering process ended up taking nearly 3 weeks, which is a very long time, especially when you are 33-36 weeks pregnant. Due to how long it took to get my questions answered and purchase the wallpaper, when it arrived and I was disappointed, I wasn’t able to make any last minute changes as it got too close to my due date. *Additionally, I sent them an email ahead of posting this review to give them a chance to try and provide some customer service and it’s been over a week with no response.
When it came to placing my order, the guidance around measurements was off significantly. I ordered the exact size I needed for my wall and was told I would be receiving 8 drops (49cm each) due to the size of my wall. In my experience (5+ wallpaper purchases from different companies), when they say 8 drops, they will send you 8 full drops. Instead, wallpapermural.com sent me 7 full drops and an 8th drop with only about 5” of mural on it. Then in addition to this, the first instruction for installation is to measure out from the left side of the wall 45 cm and draw a line. Then you install the first drop along that line which means you are cutting off 4 cm from the start. Thankfully, I noticed that the 8th drop was incomplete and chose to modify the first step and draw the right vertical line at 49 cm (the exact width of the drop), otherwise my wallpaper would not have fit.
Regarding quality - The image of the wallpaper is beautiful, exactly what you see on the website. But the quality of the paper itself did not meet my expectations. The wallpaper is extremely thin, construction paper is thicker. I reached out prior to purchasing because I have textured walls and I wanted to confirm that this wallpaper (1) would adhere to my wall and (2) would look smooth, and was told if I went with the traditional wallpaper that it would work great. Well I am sad to report that it in fact does not look great and you can see the texture through the wallpaper significantly. The wallpaper we purchased for my son’s room was bought on Etsy and I assumed going through a company that specializes in wallpaper that it would be even better quality and I was very wrong. My sons wallpaper was SIGNIFICANTLY thicker and better quality and shows zero texture through.
Regarding installation - I have installed 5+ wallpapers in my home and never has any one of those been an edge to edge application. That is usually saved for the cheap off the shelf wallpapers. Unfortunately, this was an edge to edge wallpaper install and due to the texture in my walls, the seams are EXTREMELY noticeable because the edges of the wallpaper itself are white so wherever the edges are uneven due to the rise and fall of texture, you can see the edge of the wallpaper. It doesn’t matter that they are lined up edge to edge perfectly. My sons wallpaper doesn’t show any seams at all and I think that is heavily due to the fact that his wallpaper is very thick and the application process was the overlap and cut method. Just looks so much cleaner.
Overall, I would not recommend that you order this product.

In relation to the email, you have sent in, we have in fact replied to you on Monday 6th of March offering assistance to try and resolve this issue. We are yet to receive a reply from you - I assume the email must have landed in your spam inbox based upon this review.
We aim to reply within 1 working day to all emails that we receive. We are small company of only 4 people so any design requests or edits can sometimes take longer than 1 working day. Having looked through all our email conversations, the longest period over which we did not reply was two days from the 4th to the 6th of February which happened to be a weekend when we are not in the office. You sent in multiple design proof requests on the 8th and 9th of February which were all replied to and dealt with on the 9th of February.
In relation to the wall sizing, all our wallpaper murals are printed made-to-measure. For a wallpaper to be made-to-measure we use the dimensions provide by the customer when an order is placed. We then add 3 cm to each edge to ensure margin for error as well as some trim. Our wallpaper is then cut into 48 cm wide panels that are numbered from left to right. Therefore, there is no reason why we would print the final panel the full width. Doing so would distort the design crop you had chosen during ordering as well as create more waste - something we actively try to avoid. Furthermore, the first step in the instructions says to measure 45 cm from the left because that would mean that the 3 cm we had added as a precaution would then be trimmed away (48 cm wide panels, not 49 cm). If the wallpaper would not have fit even with the 4 cm overlap you tried, then your measurements were likely wrong as the total width we add to the dimensions stated by the customer is 6 cm which exceeds a 4 cm overlap.
We are glad to hear that the design and print quality exceeded your expectations, but disappointed to hear that you think our Traditional wallpaper is thin. I can assure you we only use premium papers that are of the highest quality. Our Traditional wallpaper is 150 gsm which is thicker than industry standard as well as our competition at 130 gsm. Installing any wallpaper over a highly textured knockdown wall such as yours may always allow the texture to show through, wallpaper should be installed onto a smooth flat wall. We do offer a Heavy-Grade wallpaper that is 300 gsm that might have been more suited to your requirements – this is something we have mentioned in our reply to you via email last Monday.
In relation to installation, edge to edge application or Butt Joined panels has been the standard with wallpaper for hundreds of years. Overlapped panels are not the standard but were introduced when cheap vinyl wallpapers entered the market. The reason for the overlap is because cheap vinyl wallpaper shrinks, therefore the overlap would then hide any shrinkage gaps between the installed panels. The noticeable seams you are seeing are caused by the highly textured surface underneath the wallpaper.
Overall, we are extremely sorry to hear you have had a poor experience with WallpaperMural. We would really love to resolve this issue as soon as possibly so if you could please reply to our email that would be greatly appreciated.

Instead we use thick, premium and sustainably sourced papers that have a better overall finish and print quality. For durability, we do offer a coated, water resistant Heavy-Grade wallpaper that might have been a more suitable option for you.
In relation to the wallpaper peeling off the wall, this is something that does not happen often. It is usually caused by damp conditions, a poorly prepared wall or installation. However, because we have received no contact from you, we have not had the opportunity to rectify this issue.
