I wanted an extension to the warranty on my new car as it's 3 years old now, it was quick and easy to do this with Warranty Direct and a lot cheaper that the the place I bought the car from. The policy has all I need to carry on motoring without worries as buying a used car can be a minefield so taking no chances, this company came recommended from a few people I know so quite happy, pay in installments option too. Hopefully I will never need it but never say never hay.....

LOOKING AROUND FOR A WARRANTY SO HAD A FEW PRICIES FOR OTHER COMPANYS. GOT ROUND TO THESES JOKERS WHO SIAD THEY WOULD NOT COVER MY CAR AS ITS TO OLD AND HIGH MILES . THE CAR IS A 7 YEAR OLD MERCEDES GLE AMG 63 S WITH 52400 MILES WITH FULL MERCEDES SERVICE HISTORY THIS TELLS YOU THIS COMPANY TALKS RUBBISH .OH AND THEY WILL SAY WE DONT COVER ANYTHING ABOVE 5.O AND THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO GO TO WARRANTY WISE OR MOTOREASY WAY BETTER SERVICE .

Unfortunately, the decision is made by our underwriters, who assess vehicles against specific eligibility criteria. On this occasion, they were unable to offer cover for your vehicle based on their current underwriting guidelines, which take into account factors such as vehicle age, mileage, engine size, and overall risk profile.
We understand that your vehicle has been well maintained and benefits from a full Mercedes service history. However, even well-maintained vehicles may fall outside the acceptance criteria set by our underwriters.
We regret that we could not assist you on this occasion and wish you the best in finding a warranty provider that meets your requirements and hope that would try us again in the future should you purchase another vehicle.

I’ve had a WD warranty policy for seven years and, to be honest, I was always slightly sceptical about whether it would ever prove useful. I was wrong.
WD has just paid out just over £3,000 towards repairs to my Range Rover Evoque. The claim was authorised within two days and paid 7 business days after submitting the final invoice,
Quite rightly, WD queried the initial estimate and went through the garage’s proposed work. Some items weren’t authorised, but I have absolutely no complaint about that. The garage wanted to replace certain parts that weren’t necessarily damaged so that it could guarantee the overall repair, and I was happy to pay the difference.
Because I used an independent specialist, WD also covered the garage’s labour rate of £130 an hour.
After paying for the policy for seven years, this was the first significant claim I’ve made and when I actually needed the warranty, it did exactly what I hoped it would.
Very impressed.

Better than one of the other companies in this field
My son had a very bad experience with a different warranty company (E+++) and the engineering company (D++++) that was used. The complaint is still ongoing after 15 months! For this reason I continue to use WarrantyDirect. I have now been with this company since July of 2023 and their service response times, assistance when I had a problem and they did not balk or contest or drag their feet on two claims during this period of time. As a result I am happy to renew for another year. If there was anything negative to say is that, as a pensioner, I appreciate, car gets older, mileage gets more and therefore premium increases. I have no problem with that, but as a pensioner, it is a shame they could not offer a 50% upfront payment with 12 monthly Direct Debits for the balance. This would have helped my finances but, I have renewed the policy for another year.
