Warrington Borough Council Reviews 

I want everyone to be aware of the bus lane at Scotland Rd Southgate centre of Warrington.it is very hard to notice as you come around the bend so make sure your tyres don't even touch the boundary as you will be fined. Warrington council must make an absolute fortune out of hard working people. Maybe try making the bus lane clearer to spot but I doubt they will do that as their strategy is probably get as much money of as many unsuspecting road tax payers off as possible. We have been caught twice going shopping into Warrinton twice in the last 3 months. We didn't have a clue it was even a bus lane or on a boundary line. We will avoid the centre from now on and go to the Trafford Centre instead.

Useless morons, won't issue you a residence pass until you move in and have bills to prove you live in the House but will happily fine you for parking your car outside your own house while unloading it to move in. Bins haven't been emptied in months and they have 0 common sense or deceny.

Central 6 road scheme is causing so many problems.
Standing traffic causing more fumes
Access issues for residents older people at Lyon Court will have to wait lot longer for ambulances.
The whole scheme seems to be creating more car pollution from additional driving needing to go round the closed off roads.

Impacting business in Latchford won’t be long till business start closing in the village leading to another boarded up high street.

Scheme needs scrapping asap.

A very corrupt Council. Forcing the Central6 road closures on people with out proper consultation
Closing roads and forcing people to spend 25 mins sat in traffic to do a journey that took 5 minutes, and travelling extra miles and extra fuel costs.
Says it all when Council Leader R Bowden is due in court for fraud.

Yet again this council has taken it upon themselves to make decisions that affect peoples lives. Not only have they invested peoples money in money losing businesses resulting in £1.8 billion debt they now close roads causing traffic chaos. Council is not fit for purpose and the sooner out the better.

This council is the most corrupt in the uk and has become a dictatorship, the man in charge russ Bowden is already in court for corruption, so just about says it all , rotten to the core

They have no idea what the people of the town want and need just interested what they want. With these Road closure are a joke and coursing massive issues.

Central 6 is a seriously BAD IDEA it wont work, how can it when it creates more traffic jams resulting in more pollution. WBC should listen to the people that actually live in the town rather than ignore them - terrible behaviour by Councillors

Diabolical stopping Traffic from using Grange Ave in Latchford, especially after openly encouraging commuters to divert down Grange Ave from Knutsford Road, having its own access lane and road markings for many many years.
As a Pensioner this past week on 2 separate occasions I have been sat in traffic gridlocked for hours with no other way of getting across Latchford Bridge to get home.
This has caused no amount of stress and upset.
Change for the better I have always welcomed, however this is absolute lunacy and whoever passed these plans either have no knowledge of the area or just Bonkers Conkers and need locking up and the key kindly thrown away.

I always thought that we voted for a council to serve the people of the town. This lot don’t listen to what the residents want, are actually harming the environment by building on any green space they can find when the lack of infrastructure can’t support new houses. They are changing road layouts on a whim, without any thought to the protection of the residents and businesses in the area, and spend our council taxes on ridiculous schemes (often out of town) while our roads crumble and their buses run without MOTs. They think they know better than people who are affected by their decisions, and that could prove costly as soon as another vote comes around. The people won’t forget the distain that this council has shown to them.

Overpaid clueless people. They close a couple of important streets to ease pollution. causing massive congestion and pollution everywhere else. Totally disregarding the people of Warrington which this is costing their time, money and sanity

Central six is a complete shambles, the council will not listen to the residents. Roads being blocked with planters will not solve or help encourage people to walk or cycle.

Disgusting how this council ignores the people who live here and carry on regardless of how much it effects peoples lives. I just hope they take full accountability when something really bad happens, and sadly I really think it will

No faith in this council. Do not listen to residents who voted them in. Central6 is just driving more traffic onto an already congested road hence more fumes for those living there. Also traffic is now diverting into the estates opposite the road closure to bypass the queuing traffic so we to are also suffering but no consultation was given to us. We heard when signage went up. Ever Labour councillor voted in favour of this going ahead they should hang their heads in shame. Lost my vote

This council is a shambles needs a big shake up and spend our money on something we actually need

Shocking, implement measures nobody wants putting solutions to problems that don't exist. Increasing pollution not reducing. Investing residents money without consultation and lose it all

They ignore and have utter disregard for the views of residents, who vote them!
The new closure of roads (central 6 plan) is causing gridlock through the town and making roads dangerous for school children to cross!
You cannot make Warrington a greener area when you have turned it into a car park during peak times!

Total disregard of the people they were elected to represent.

Nothing but a gang of shysters, led by a cabinet of careering who are taking the public for a ride. No consultation, no assistance and do not listen to the residents. This so called council are run like a politburo, money grabbing leaches, it is time the Labour Party takes action and rids our proud Town of them.
