Warrington Borough Council Reviews 

Difficult to write just how bad this council is . Appalling leadership - nodding dogs as labour councillors - a 2 billion quid debt mountain a failed energy company and cloud bank - no meaningful communication - no openness honesty or accountability . This council needs to listen to the town - we’ve had enough !

This Council does not consult its electorate and does not listen to them when they complain.

It's financial mismanagement means that accounts from 2017 are still unaccepted and the town is in billions, yes billions, of pounds worth of debt

A council that does not listen to anyone's views to important changes who live in the surrounding area, or even inform them of the changes. A council who does not care about choices they make that will effect people's lives hugely, as well as pollution. A council who does not care if an ambulance could reach a very sick person in time. A council who does not care if a fire engine could save a life in time. A council who does not care full stop. I could go on. Disgusting

They don't care about the residents they are supposed to represent. All they care about is money. They have got our town into 2.6 Billion pounds worth of debt. They need to consider the people that they represent.

This council have lost the trust of the electorate

Awful council that don’t care about their residents. Central 6 is a joke. Causing major traffic issues and making roads more dangerous. Listen to what your residents are telling you and stop thinking about the money!!

How can these labour councilors think they know whats best fir our town when they give permission to knock listed buildings down 😡 , then block roads off saying its a go clean air area , yet divert more traffic down narrower streets/avenues just doesnt make sence,

If I could I'd give them zero stars a council that never listens to the people they serve only in it to line their own pockets they are so corrupt and a total disgrace

It’s a poor review due to the consultation process they have provided to the good folk of Warrington with regards to the Central6Traffic Plan. It’s very evident it is not wanted by Westy and Orford residents yet WBC Labour Councillors refuse to pause. This is unacceptable in my view.

You need to listen to the people of Warrington. This traffic system is a shambles.

WBC are a shambles! implementing "green" traffic schemes, which will increase travel times, increase queuing, and increase pollution on the majority of roads to improve air quality on a minority of roads. Introducing bus gates to prevent to cut out people using roads as "a rat run" when roads have always been thoroughfares. Minimal consultation and a complete disregard for the constituents who elected them.
Would give zero stars if it was an option.

Thet have blocked roads of without prior consultation, a letter 2 days before, my letter was torn as just shuved in letterbox. No though how emergency services will get through, extra traffic, especially when bridge repairs start. Today I had to pull out and go round kingsway roundabout as was fed up waiting to pull across kingsway, my journey should have only taken 2 minutes but took 10, where is the sense. Won't be voting Labour again

If they want active travel they shouldnrole model it and provide the infrastructure to support it..poor access to public transport, apparently unable to recruit, poorly maintained roads so cycling not safe and as for walking…anyone tried walking from one end of Warrington to another…I know our councillors don’t but expect us to
As for reducing pollution…it’s promoting the opposite along some main roads

WBC are terrible they don’t listen to the people of the town and issues they have. They have introduced a scheme called central 6 and it is causing road issue through out the they are embarrassing

So they decide to close roads against the wishes of majority of people living in the area, and those including myself who live just outside have no opinion even though I work in Latchford and have to travel there every day.

Absolutely disgusting they all haven't a care in the world for the public selfish the lot of them

Warrington borough council is full of crooks and fraudsters that have destroyed Warrington for there own gain , it’s one of the most polluted towns in the U.K. due to them building on every bit of land they can , absolute disgrace .The dictatorship continues with this un democratic council that seem to think they can ignore the will of the people

They are a disgrace they are definitely not customer service friendly I was enquiring about my council tax bill at the council place in town the woman was not helpful at all and a had a very bad attitude, also now with blocking roads around warrington with planters to save air pollution is the wrong move warrington borough council needs sorting asap to avoid accidents

This is a council who do not have a brain cell between them. A children's reception class would be better in the planning department than these clowns.
If you are thinking of visiting Warrington do not bother as you will never get out of the place due to the Central 6 plans they are applying to our roads.
They do not care about residents or small businesses that will go under if they continue this madness!!!!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! I can't decide whether our beloved Labour councillors are severely lacking foresight or if they're just this stupid - and that's me being polite about it! They're supposed to represent 'the people' but it's safe to say that the will of the people of Latchford and Westy has been totally ignored. As someone who lives on Broadbent Avenue, I know what a hazard that road is due to its narrowness at the best of times so to now make it the main access through to Reynolds Street is utterly mind-boggling. Ambulances and fire engines struggle to navigate the road and I now fear we will see multiple people lose their lives as the emergency services will now be left trying to navigate Latchford with the increased traffic pressures and poor access.
If you wanted to make a difference to Latchford and make something safer, they should have been looking st the ju cation of Bridgewater avenue and kingsway South- people are always crashing, knocking people off bikes, running over pedestrians etc as that junction is an absolute death trap.
To forge on with the Latchford and Westy central 6 plan despite the outcry from those of us who live here (and already pausing the Orford trials) just shows that our councillors aren't in their positions to represent us, they're in it for self-gain!

PS, your planters are hideous and they look full of weeds. If you really must cause us great inconveniences and kill some of us off, at least make them pleasing to the eye!
