Amazing product! I can play casettes from my childhood to my kid on a modern BT speaker. Love it! The only thing that would be great is if there was a version powered by normal AA batteries.

Another quality, vintage/contemporary design purchase of the Orange 10 Cassette Tower.

I waited giddily for the belt clip to come. When I got it, the packaging was so cool that the product seemed a little underwhelming. Then upon use, it's love. Such a good invention!

The music player with tape and Bluetooth is fantastic. I love it. You can carry it with you anywhere. It gives me the feeling of 90s.

Firstly, this unit is the best-sounding portable cassette player I've ever owned and I'm 40. I went through a few plastic walkman-style players since 1995 up until around 2005 and these new tape players surpass anything I owned during my childhood and youth. This is both in terms of build quality and sound quality. I really appreciate that it's not overloaded with features, only key updates like Bluetooth connectivity and, most importantly, USB power!! I give endless thanks and praise because I no longer have to deal with alkaline batteries. The only thing that I am uncomfortable with is the door mechanism. It's a bit on the basic side and I'm always afraid that I'll snap it while opening because it closes and holds the cassette firmly in place. Other than that, I am loving this product and am already considering which friends of mine would appreciate it as a gift. Thank you kindly!

We love We Are Rewind. Since buying a Blaster for the family for Christmas, my sons have become audio cassette-obsessed. We ordered personal tape players / recorders to play our growing tape collection. We also then got the matching headphones! All great products, delivered quickly by a company that obviously cares about what it does. Long live magnetic music!

Great little cassette player, looks great and brings music from 40 years ago back to life

I purchased £559 worth of cassette players and accessories from ‘wearerewind’ on the 11th April. Order number 15623

Their website had a constant rolling message across the top of their main page stating:

NOTE TO CUSTOMERS RESIDING IN TH UK: ALL OUR ORDERS ARE SHIPPED ON A ‘DELIVERY DUTY PAID’ (DDP) BASIS, SO YOU WILL INCUR NO CUSTOMS DUTIES OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES UPON RECEIVING YOUR PARCEL.

I would not have purchased but for this message.

Fedex notified me just after midnight on the morning of the 15th of April that my parcel was held up pending payment of import duty and charges to the amount of £126.52UK.

12 email exchanges followed between ‘Wearerewind’, Fedex and me between 12am midnight and 15:21pm. On the 15th of April.

Rather than explaining my feelings, I offer the following email transcription between ‘wearerewind’ and myself so that potential customers can judge for themselves if the customer service ‘wearerewind’ provide would meet their requirements. They don’t meet mine. I only wish to trade with sellers who recognise and understand what an inconvenience for their customers is, customers who set out to buy products or services and don’t expect their order to generate a load of work for them.
‘wearerewind’ just piled on the instructions like it was my mistake not theirs.
If the roles were reversed, I would have apologised, paid and immediate refund and said leave it with me:

To ‘wearerewind’. I placed the above order from UK. Your website clearly stated that I will receive no customs duties or additional charges. Fedex inform me that my order is held at customs awaiting payment of £126,52UK import duty and charges!
Please cancel and refund. Thankyou. J John

Hi John. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by these unexpected customs charges. We will investigate this situation with the carrier to understand why these fees were applied. In the meantime, please pay the requested amount and send us a copy of the receipt. Once received, we will refund you the full amount of the duties and charges.

To ‘wearerewind’. Thank you for your response, I’m not willing to pay the charge. Your website was clear, no charges. Shopping should not be this difficult. There was no need for me to write this email, I’m very busy. I have asked for a refund.

Hi John, I understand your frustration regarding these charges. As you mentioned, you should not have been charged for this, and we would like to investigate exactly where this fee is coming from. Could you please forward us the email you received from FedEx? This will help us resolve the issue with the carrier.

To ‘wearerewind’ Fedex Email forwarded. Just to be clear, the only thing I want now is a full refund. I have no desire to buy your product now. Thank you.

Hi John. I understand that you would like to proceed with a full refund. Please contact Fedex or refuse the parcel upon delivery. We are contacting FedEx on our side to manage the return, and we ask that you also contact them to confirm your refusal. Once the parcel is returned to us, we will process your refund.

To ‘wearerewind’. I certainly will not, as I said shopping should not be this difficult and your responses are making it very difficult. I already attended to about 7 emails today on this issue and this is my last. (Actually, it was 12 emails) I will not contact Fedex, the seller is responsible up until delivery, it’s down to you. If it’s dumped on my property without a signature, I will not take responsibility for it so I suggest you contact Fedex quickly. I won’t be replying to any more of your email’s ether. Get your customer support together. This is very bad.

The cassette player is excellent quality. My son loves it. The Bluetooth feature allows him to connect it to his headphones or speaker. Shipping a No. 2 pencil with it was an excellent touch. He was very excited to be able to choose a color that coordinated with his wardrobe. The turnaround time was extensive.

I love my throwback cassette player. It is well made, nice and solid and connects easily w my Bluetooth speaker!

Very fast delivery and comunication prompt.
Yet what I must say is I bought the same machine a few months ago. And just one day it stoped working. So I have had to by a new one and when I'm ready I will send in the machine to have it looked at. Thank you.
