Wickes - Beverley Reviews 

Bought a Wickes kitchen and initially delighted with design and service from staff in store in Beverley . Beware a few years later the corner doors are cracked , the skirting keeps falling off! , the dishwasher catches on the skirting and the extractor hood doesn’t work! Really not built to last and very disappointed with response as quoted almost half of original price the put right! Staff in store did best but product and installation shocking

Our fitters were brilliant. Cant fault them, did a lovely job. However one of our radiators has a faulty valve and we cannot get Wickes to either come out inspect, fix or replace. When I called customer services after weeks of trying to get a response from them we were not even on the system properly. Our fitter came back to see if he could sort it but the valve is leaking. When we tried to claim under the warranty, they said the designer cocked up our order and forgot to add it to our main installation paperwork so it does not come under the same warranty as the rest of the work, so not our fault, their mistake but not acknowledging this either. We are now left with a beautiful new utility plus the attractive addition of a pile of paper plates to catch the drips from the faulty valve on the radiator. We are being passed between customer services and the supplier who suggested we try tapping it! No way we are touching it as this would be another excuse for them to say they are not going to do anything about it if we make it worse . We have just spent around £40k with this company and they are quibbling over sorting this out for us. Not acceptable.

Very helpful staff and the lady at the till Tracy M was very pleasant and professional.

Went into the store with the intention to look at bathroom sinks/ units and had a few questions, well!! Pam can to our rescue and everything she suggested/ put forward sounded great & even opened the box up to check the colours (nothing was too much trouble) we will definitely be returning for all the ancillaries required

Good store, well stocked.
Tracy M is always super friendly too and has helped me out several times.

I love going to the store in Beverley rather than hull even though hull is closer (it a big no no it's like going back in time and staff are shocking)firstly the Beverley store is easy to navigate it's clean the staff are helpful and pleasant knowledgeable Tracy m on the till always smiling and happy and brightens up your day even if you are not in a happy mood

Use Wickes a lot and find staff very helpful generally. Tracy M was particularly helpful today and friendly. Nice to get discount with my Trade Pro card.

Tracy checked if there were any large water butt's in stock for me as there were none outside. Joseph brought one from the store for me and offered to carry it to the car if I needed help.
Very helpful as the standard reply when shopping in general is often 'we've only got what's out' if you query more stock.

Andy went above and beyond to help with our questions and queries. He made the whole process much easier and so much smoother. Highly recommend Wickes - and especially Andy, if you need DIY help!

Pam at the Beverley Store, picked my click and collect in minutes of ordering and I had it ready on the job within the hour.

Wickes is a great shop. Well laid out, clean and they generally stock what I want.
The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They never just point to something. They will always take you to the product you want. I can always rely on their advice.
I'd like to mention Tracy M, whose Customer Service is excellent.

We went into Wickes in Beverley tonight 26/02/26,well we couldn’t decide on paint we wanted for the house,we had daughter on phone trying to help,then a lovely lady came to us and she helped us choose our paint for our rooms she was so funny,polite and helpful
My husband and I must of been in there about 45 minutes before she appeared,she had us sorted in half hour and had us with all our paints and brushes on trolley she even put labels on tins so we didn’t forget which rooms they were going in

My experience with Wickes has not been great. Had issues with my shower for months, the staff in the bathroom design area were of no help at all. They just kept saying I needed to contact the supplier, even though Wickes ordered and fitted my shower. 2015 Customer rights act, stated Wickes are responsible. I wouldn't give the one star! However a lovely lady on the shop floor called Tracy N. was excellent, she sorted out my issue the same day and I would give her 5 stars.

Very friendly and helpful floor & check out staff. Tracy M was thorough in checking for what I couldn't find on the shelves and very apologetic when she couldn't find any stock. The store is clean and well laid out
