I was looking for Sandtex paint but could not find the colour.
Jason helped me look and eventually found the last couple.He spent time to help and was determined I would go away happy. Perfect ,helpful,courteous service.

Me and my partner have just brought a house and have become frequent shoppers at Wickes. In particular we want to thank Lewis for being so amazing and helpful as first time buyers we definitely need it xD
Would recommend shopping at Wickes as all the people are helpful, they have an excellent range of products that are good quality as well

Staff were really helpful, was showed all the different offers that they had on. Even saved abit of money on the purchase, one happy customer 😀

I was sent to Wickes to buy felt for the top of my garden waste bins. I only had the measurements and little idea of where to find the product. I was helped by a young man, who found the correct nails and felt and afterwards another young man carried the heavy felt to my car and placed it in the boot. Excellent customer service for a woman in her 70's. Thank you, Vicki

Visited the store on a busy bank holiday and I was so pleased with my experience.

I am disabled and needed support to the car with the bark chippings I purchased. The team were run off their feet but were more than happy to help when someone was free.

I would like the disabled parking closer to the store but that’s not the stores fault.

Popped into Wickes to get some fence posts and fence panels great availability & staff service on the till.

Had an issue with an order i had but after speaking with staff they were more than helpful in sorting out the issue and rectifying it quickly.

Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The managers are approachable and friendly. Would highly recommend using this store.

Been to wickes a few times the past few months and every time I always ask Nathan for help. He’s always willing to help and give good advise on what he thinks we should use for certain projects we are doing.

Went today to look for timber post for a fence, staff were really helpful as I have no idea what I needed, even told what was on offer to help make the job cheaper

To be honest I was really disappointed from the kitchen designer to the installation. I bought the, “Lifestyle” kitchen and it was measured up and designed by one of the staff-I visited the store face to face and she came out to the house to measure and look at the shape of the kitchen. She also recommended a kitchen fitter they used to use in Wickes. When the kitchen was unpacked, three units were missing and one worktop was a different colour. It took a lot of running around and chasing up to rectify this as it is not simply a case of going back to the store believe it or not! When the kitchen was fitted by the recommended fitter, (which included tiling), one of the worktops was fitted on top of another one, (it looked really out of place!) Eventually we had to buy yet another worktop and pay someone else to refit it properly. The finishing off of the tiling was poor and the grouting was even worse. This has also cost more money to rectify. I am not really impressed with the quality and overall feel very disappointed.

Went to wicks as we were looking for a new kitchen they have a good choice so we spoke to Jayde and we arranged a home visit for a kitchen design. When jayde had done our design we were very impressed so we ordered the kitchen. Just have a few weeks to go now for our installation so will let you know how it went.

Went in for some screws and electrical tape today, first time being in the store and didn’t know where any items were so I am lucky that Morgan and Meghan were so helpful and helped me locate said items, will be definitely be coming back if I need anything else

Utter Disappointment and Unacceptable Service

I am writing to warn others and express my immense frustration and disappointment regarding the appalling after-sales service and numerous issues with our recent kitchen order. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and it’s unacceptable that a company of wickes' size operates with such disregard for their customers once you have their money.

Firstly, let’s be clear – my partner and I are not kitchen fitters or designers. We trusted Wickes to provide a full professional design service. We were shown a CGI of how our kitchen would look and placed our order in good faith based on this. At no point were we told we needed to meticulously double-check the work of their designers – because that’s what their job is. So imagine our shock when our kitchen fitter flagged a 20mm void between two cupboard doors – a void that was not shown in the design and that now sits awkwardly in our kitchen with no filler or solution provided except us having to buy a new door without them taking the old door and paying the price difference. When we raised this issue, your response was essentially to blame us for not noticing. Excuse me, but why would we, as customers, want or expect a random 20mm gap between two units? That is your design flaw, not ours.

Secondly, we were told there was no upstand included in our order – despite the fact that not only was it delivered, but the kitchen would look ridiculous without it. Then, to add insult to injury, not enough was sent, and once again we are being blamed for not catching this during the design process. Not only are we left with an unfinished look, but we’re now unable to return the excess, and have lost hundreds of pounds on materials we can’t use – through no fault of our own.

And finally, the countertops and backsplash, which we were told were the same product and colour, have arrived in visibly different shades. The lack of consistency here makes the kitchen look disjointed and cheap – not what we were promised, and not what we paid for.

In summary, we have paid thousands for a kitchen that:

Was poorly designed by your team,

Includes mismatched and missing elements,

Leaves us out of pocket for materials we can’t return,

And results in us being blamed every time we raise legitimate concerns.

This is not just unprofessional – it’s shameful.

The staff were really helpful. I was ordering goods and Laura helped me at the till to order what I needed and was very friendly. I was also browsing the kitchens and a Dale helped me book an appointment using my phone and showed me the products on offer including demonstrating the kitchens. This was so easy and I felt really welcome. A very clean and organised store

Been visiting Wickes Bridgend à lot lately for various projects and have been served by Kirsten. Have to say she has a wonderful happy demeanour and is always really helpful. À credit to the company. Thanks Kirsten
