Wickes - Hall Green Reviews 

Came to wickes after securing a kitchen with wren just to see what quartz options wickes had. After speaking with Richard (when i asked for some help around their quartz options) i was super impressed. Richard was honest, informative and very helpful. So helpful infact i decided to cancel my order with wren and sit down with richard to talk through what wickes has to offer. We were very pleased with Richards expertise, patience and honest approach. He has helped us now design our perfect kitchen that we are looking forward to receiving in the new year. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a new kitchen to visit Richard @ wickes in Hall Green.

Choice between Wickes and Wren! Wickes won hands down. Happy with the pricing and had quite a quirky kitchen that required a lot of work to divert water and waste pipes. Went for their bespoke kitchen which is top quality, Their design consultant Richard made some good suggestions, things I wouldn’t have even considered, which I went with. Couldn’t have gone better.

I had my dream kitchen and vision from Wickes !! Lovely Richard spend a lot of yours in designing my vision and he explained evrything which was and not suitable!! He was patient with me an ld my friend and only a phone call away. Its was for me once a purchase of a lifetime and I got everything I wanted!

A big thank you to Richard Probert who has gone above and beyond to design my dream kitchen. Nothing has been too much trouble for him when I was worried about the slightest alteration to my kitchen he came out again to my house to put my mind at ease. His kitchen experience is second to none and I would recommend him to anybody who was thinking of having a new kitchen. Richard you deserve a medal I can’t thank you enough.

Richard was very helpful and gave great advice and options. Didn’t rush us and provided a great deal within budget.

Richard the design consultant went above and beyond designing our kitchen with us with a tight budget. He was very supportive, kind and informative and with his vast experience in design gave us excellent ideas with the kitchen we didn’t think about!.

Richard, had excellent customer service and designed our dream kitchen. He gave us such a good ideas on how to make the vision Into reality, and cheaper than B&Q. He deserves a cash voucher for employee of the month! What a guy

Having looked at other stores for a new kitchen we decided to visit Wickes in Hall Green in order to get a ‘comparison’. The customer service we received from both Ash and Richard made our minds up instantly to order! Nothing is too much trouble, they both fully understood what we wanted and advised us on the best options for our budget. We placed our order yesterday and can’t wait for our new kitchen to be fitted in January. I would 100% advise anyone to go and see these two wonderful, knowledgeable, understanding and helpful guys. We had our kitchen about 2 years ago from Wickes in Stirchley and wanted to make some additions to it, so we wanted to consult Richard Probert again who did the original. He had moved to Hall Green so we went there and received the same wonderful service from him again. His advice is first class and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Richard. 👍👍

We had been anticipating a kitchen refit, and replace the old one, which we purchased from Wickes over 22 years ago. However the carcasses were in good order and required door replacements, new soft close hinges, new pelmets, kick boards, Handles, etc... We spoke to Richard Probert, from the kitchen department Hall Green who quickly and fully understood exactly what we required. A new order was compiled with Richards help which when delivered amounted to 105 boxes of components. I have now fitted the new kitchen and my wife and I are absolutely over the moon, the ease and simplicity of ordering to delivery was second to none. Many customers I imagine would be quick to criticise but slow to praise, We have nothing but praise for the service and the attention we received from Richard from the onset. We feel this is the best money we have ever spent, in regards to service follow up and quality of the result. Thank you Richard you are a great ambassador for the Wickes Brand.

Excellent customer service, knew & delivers exactly what we required rather than ‘up-selling’ our kitchen.

Will definitely only be sourcing our kitchens from Wickes, because of his customer service alone.

New bathroom and kitchen over 25k spent appalling customer service from customer relations - Wickes assigned an absolute cowboy who damaged our property and did such a poor job of the installation it had to be ripped out and started again by a Wickes corrective fitter. Cowboy sub contractor overcharged us and we took them to court- they didn’t show ! A CCJ stands against them with thousands owed yet they haven’t paid. Wickes still continue to employ them even knowing this.
The corrections - had to chase Wickes customer relations for 11months , they finally sorted it a year later.
The thousands pounds worth of damage to our house from the installations and corrective process even after saying they would resolve at the end of we documented everything turned out to be a lie! Wickes took no responsibility for as “their contractors are sub contractors “ NEVER EVER use Wickes anywhere in Birmingham and surrounding areas and NEVER EVER use one of their sub contractors! absolute cowboys and thieves who have no idea what they are doing and happily damage your property and refuse to pay court judgements. I tell this to everyone I meet Wickes are despicable and do not deserve to trade with how they treat their customers. You have been warned.

I got my kitchen from Wicks Hall Green and Richard Probert was really friendly and helpful. His design suggestions were great it not only looked good but suggested how we can create maximum space in the kitchen.

I wish there was a minus option in rating the costumer service in this place. I ordered 6 bags of soil which i needed support in loading in car. The old lady gave me a go saying i need to bring someone in with me to do it and there workers can't. Anyway after she got one of her workers to load in car for me which even him had a proper strop threw in my boot didn't balance properly and said its done and just walked off. Who even gave these guys a job without even knowing or delivering proper customer service. Honestly never have i seen it so bad!
