Great customer service delivered always by the guys at Wickes Hemel Hempstead. Always so friendly and polite. Stand out staff for me is Oliver and Nassi at my recent visit to the store. Was looking for wall mouldings and they were very helpful. Tried their best to help me find them in the store, when they couldn’t they helped me order them for home delivery.
I know it’s their job but for me it’s great customer service going the extra mile.

Excellent service at Wickes from Kai.
Without hesitation he happily helped take a large number of heavy products to my car and load them into the boot. A really pleasant young man and a credit to the company.

Great service at Wicks Hemel Hempstead and had an excellent service thanks to Nassi. She went above and beyond to help me find the tap cartridge. She made me feel valued customer at Wicks.

Kirsty and Flo were particularly helpful in helping me to manage my purchases on Easter Saturday. I am elderly and temporarily disabled by a bad foot so I couldn't have managed without their help.

We applied to the Wickes Community Programme and Elliot at our local branch in Hemel Hempstead was super helpful and kind. We have received a donation of two lovely new wheelbarrows, which are really helping our volunteers to move things around the garden safely. Thank you!

Use them continuously for DIY products on numerous occasions I go in and speak to Ian. He is always so helpful. Has a good knowledge of products and points me in the right direction. The service he gives is on and above anywhere else.

Every time I visit, I have a fantastic experience. The team is consistently helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel at ease. Among them, Alfie and Oliver stand out as incredible helpers. They always go out of their way to assist me, whether it’s answering my questions, providing detailed explanations, or offering solutions to any issues I encounter. Their dedication and willingness to help are truly commendable, and I can’t thank them enough for their exceptional service. Quality products and great customer service provided by Oliver. He even helped me carrying stuff to my car as I have tennis elbow at the moment.

We popped in purely on the off chance after being quoted a lot for tiles somewhere else. Saw exactly what we wanted for half the price. Kevin who helped us was great, really knowledgeable, polite, friendly and a credit to the wicks team. 2 very happy customers.

Sadly I did not enjoy my experience, very frustrating as I had high hopes and the process of designing and having a new bathroom should be fun and exciting. This was not the experience I hoped for. The designer was very friendly, but I wish there was a little more communication before hand. Most of what we went through I could have done at home prior to the appointment so we could get designs done. Lots of my questions were unanswered and they didn't have the products I was really keen on. I will try somewhere else for my bathroom. This isn't their strength.

I ordered multiple bags of quick set cement, gravel and a sheet of plywood. I paid £35 delivery for a SIX hour time slot. Instead of plywood I got MDF (which had been on the back of an open back delivery lorry and was drenched). Totally useless for my job. All bags of cement which were on the bottom of the delivery pallet were split and leaked all over my drive. It was raining so I had to spend half an hour clearing the leaked cement away before it set. I spoke to a very abrupt and frankly rude member of staff later in the day. No apology at all and a definite sense of boredom with my complaint and lack of belief in what I was saying. I insisted on the return of my delivery charge. Paying £35 for a six hour time slot was appalling anyway. I would have swapped my damaged/wrong goods but was not able to spare the time waiting in another massive time slot. An appalling experience overall. Out of pocket and had to clear up in the pouring rain. Would give zero stars if possible.

We visited Wickes' store in Hemel Hempstead after Christmas to see about a new kitchen. Deepa was very helpful and has been very efficient in coming out to see us and turning round a new kitchen design in a matter of hours. Also got very clear and honest advice. Order now placed, very happy.
