Visited Wickes in Hull today and received excellent service, the staff that I spoke to were all very helpful and polite. Great service

We have been going to Wickes for many DIY projects and Rebecca was very helpful and pleasant.An asset to the Hull store.

The worker that helped me was called Nicola. She was very good with communicating where the products I needed were and showd me exactly what I needed with the perfect brand of paint.

I often visit the store in Hull, on Leeds Rd, I find the staff friendly and helpful, this week it were a lovely girl called Nicola, who went above and beyond to help me in my search for what I required. Always full of great products at good prices,

Attended to by James Claxton to finalise our kitchen order personally. He talked us through the whole process professionally and concisely. He is clearly an absolute asset to your business. We also received great service from Nickolas Scruton a few days earlier when we were simply choosing a kitchen.
Big up to Wickes for the brilliant service.

Called in today for some garden compost, it was easy to find at the entrance,paid at the Till and collected outside.
Colleague was really helpful and asked if I needed assistance.

I only popped into Wickes for a couple of bits… but thanks to Kerry and Shirley, I somehow left with enough supplies to renovate Buckingham Palace. Their service was so good, I couldn’t even come up with an excuse to escape! My wife’s home improvement plans have officially taken over my life, and these two were more than happy to help her cause. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly in cahoots with my other half—thanks for the top-notch service (and for keeping me captive just a little longer). Highly recommend!

Horrendous 50%sale apparently we went in-store Saturday, we were told could work to our budget, he said sending someone to measure up, never measured anything all talked about was green kitchen and price, not nice attitude made a sneering noise our kitchen is old but clean, hence need new kitchen.he said do you want hob extractor tiles he went be £12000 how is that half price kitchen? It was just hard sell he measured nothing knew nothing of conversation in-store or budget, I knew if I said a price he'd double it so didn't.They don't care what you want just want big bucks no regard to Customer massive red flag probably lucky didn't go ahead.i said let's not waste your or our time, Wickes are wrong doing this to Customers wasting our time, half price should mean half price and work to Customers budget, James Caxton had a bad attitude minute walked in went uurgh at old kitchen Unprofessional to say the least.Why say one thing to us in-store then send him not knowing anything we've agreed to do hard sell? That's not the way to treat paying Customers wasting our time not being truthful deceitful to say the least, you said he was coming to measure up he didn't? How can I reply when you've not sent any private message Dylan? lying saying you've sent a private message? Think we had a very lucky escape imagine what mess we'd be left with had we allowed you in our home? I will find a reputable Company that values it's Customers and get a kitchen at a good price not be ripped off. Don't lie on here tell ppl you've sent a private message fieigning dealt with it, not true. You certainly have not

Attended wickes Hull today, I must say what a team. Kerry, Shirley, Becky, & Mo. Assisted not only me but other customers in the store. I received assistance from both Kerry and Shirley loading the trolley and putting the items in my car. Thanks guys good team effort. Excellent customer service.

Had a bathroom fitted and sub contractors did an excellent job. Suffered a leak. Wicks did nothing. Paid out for an emergency plumber. Despite numerous attempts at trying to discuss the leak Wicks have yet to respond adequately Very disappointed. No idea why they boast a 2 year guarantee as it seems totally worthless at the moment and we are out of pocket.
The only good thing that’s happened is a chance meeting with our subcontractor has helped in trying to repair the damage but I would never recommend Wicks to anyone. Do not trust their guarantee.

I called into Wickes Hull and a colleague called Kerry helped me when I didn’t know what I was looking for. She was very helpful and I came away with exactly what I needed. Thank you Kerry!
