We’ve just designed our new kitchen with Adam and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From our very first chat in the showroom, he was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. He came out to measure up the very same day, and within just two days we were back in the showroom reviewing the designs — which were fantastic.
Adam really listened to what we needed and worked within our budget without compromising on style or quality. When we asked for a couple of tweaks after seeing the visuals, nothing was too much trouble. He updated everything on screen there and then, and the appliances he selected for us were spot‑on for how we live.
Thank you, Adam — we’re absolutely delighted with the design and can’t wait to see it come to life in a few weeks.

Ive recently bought some doors from wickes. Several of the doors arrived damaged but one of the doors in particular I couldnt salvage as the frosted glass was all damaged and the frosted film wasnt repairable. I spoke with wickes and sent them all the pictures etc that they need and they assured me another company who they buy them off would be in touch within 72 hours to arrange swapping the door with a new door and taking the old one away. Now nearly a week later and ive still not had any response from either.
Please could somebody get in touch as this was a £1200 order and each day without the replacement door is costing me a lot of money through no fault of my own.

I was short of time trying to find something at the Preston branch today and when I couldn't, I approached a member of staff for help. Sarcastically she said 'Didnt you see it on the first isle?' and left me to it, without even pointing to the correct isle. Eventually found it, but I was so cross, I went over the road to the Dulux Decorator Centre, who were amazing and located the product I wanted immediately. Will never go to Wickes again. Sarcastic and unhelpful woman. Needs retraining.

Wickes Preston store staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more polite and helpful but let down by a poor delivery company (XDP) and customer service team (still waiting on 2 emails from them with delivery slots and outcomes from failed deliveries)
I arranged for a £1000 delivery for 24th April. The delivery slot was for between 7am and 7pm. The driver turned up at 9.30pm and said he was unable to deliver the items as it was a flat and needed 2 people. I pointed out that there were two people. The XDP staff member said the other person was just there for the ride. I asked him to wait whilst i got someone to help me take them up. on my return the XDP driver had left with my items.
I contacted Wickes customer services in the morning and was told they would be delivered the next working day and they would put a report in. I had to cancel my joiner as he was due to fit them costing me £200. XDP did not deliver on the Monday and again Wickes said they would raise it. Tuesday no delivery and again a cancelled Job costing me another £200.
XDP finally turned up at 2.30pm but did not have my items in there van and assured me they would be delivered within the hour. they didn't arrive. (i later seen an email that stated i had refused to accept the delivery along with a photo taken at 2pm of the front of my apartment. I showed staff at the store a photo i had taken of the driver which was taken at 2.55pm and asked if i had refused delivery at 2pm then why was the driver still at the property at 3pm and why would i inform customer services that day that there was a failed delivery)
I eventually emailed the CEO- david.wood@ wickes and it was only then that things started moving. I was informed that the manager of Wickes Preston branch had said that the store was not to help me resolve this issues due to me purchasing online and not int he store. If she had asked me i would have told her that the order WAS placed in store but despite that surely it is good customer relations for staff to assist customers. When i threatened to cancel the order i was told by customer relations that it would take 20 days to get a refund. eventually the items were returned to the store and another delivery company delivered them to my home nearly 4 weeks later and £400 out of pocket. Wickes offered a £50 voucher which was donated to an elderly neighbour.
What i can't fathom out is there are numerous reviews complaining about the delivery company (delivers from Depot) and how customer services dating back a long long time but these issues are still occurring.

He came to measure our kitchen, listened to what we wanted & was very helpful & professional.
He explained everything in detail including the various units available, different types of work tops, appliance options etc.
We went to the showroom about a week later to see his plan of the kitchen.
We were there well over 2 hours & he explained everything in great detail.
He showed us the range of available integral appliances, worktops, taps, sinks & basically everything you want or need in a kitchen!
He even used a sample door & worktop to help us choose the floor tiles.
He also took time to explain the various payment options.
Nothing was too much trouble for him & we would highly recommend Adam to anyone looking to design a new kitchen.

Adam has been fantastic in helping us design our new kitchen. We have been really impressed by the level of customer service so far. Nothing has been too much trouble - he didn't even complain when we kept him for 2.5 hours trying to decide on a colour combination. I would happily recommend Adam to anyone wanting a new kitchen!

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to praise the service I received from the wonderful Kim Balch, she came to my home and put together a wonderful kitchen mock up, her ideas were spot on, she was very professional and patient in giving me time to decide whether I would proceed with the kitchen.
Nothing was too much trouble for her. I am happy to say I am delighted with my brand new impeccably designed kitchen.
I am also very happy with the quality of the units.

Dreadful customer service today in your Preston branch. We were"served" at the checkout by Willy H. There was no customer service, failed to make eye contact, constantly fidgeting (to such an extent that both I and my partner felt he was on something, did not speak to us to say hello, how much our bill was or anything else. As someone who was previously a manager in retail I found the level of customer service unacceptable and wonder what, if any, training and monitoring you have for this vital part of operating a customer facing retail business?

Kimberley designed our kitchen and utility room and they are better than we ever imagined.
She added so many thoughtful personal touches to the plans, with incredible attention to detail, that made it truly ours rather than a standard design. She didnt just look at the space and measurements, she really took the time to understand us and thoughtfully incorporated who we are into her designs.
From the very beginning Kimberley was patient, extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. She showed us real pictures of kitchens she had completed which really helped us visualise ideas and feel confident in our choices.
Her knowledge was outstanding and there was never any pressure, just care and a real desire to give us what we wanted.
Kimberley is a genuinely lovely person who really cared about us and our home.
Carl, Adam and Clayton fitted our kitchen, they were professional, trustworthy and extremely conscientious. We felt completely at ease having them in our home.
Carl repeatedly said he would only do a finish he would be happy to have in his own home and that really shows in the quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail. His suggestions were thoughtful and genuinely improved both the look and the usability of the kitchen.
Nothing was rushed. Nothing was too much trouble and every aspect was completed to an exceptionally high standard. More than fitters, Carl, Adam and Clayton are true craftsmen who take real pride in their work.
We feel so lucky to have had the best designer and fitters, to give us our dream kitchen. They were all exceptional in every way.
What really set them apart is how deeply they care, not just about the kitchen looking beautiful, but about it being practical, functional and right for everyday living.
We could not be happier with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them without hesitation.
