Will is always so helpful from helping me find things to wheeling heavy goods out for me. Wickes Preston is a very friendly store which makes shopping there much nicer.

Came in today clueless about which plaster to buy. The workers were all great and helpful. Ended up that 25kg is what I needed but was finding it difficult to carry so Alistair stepped in to help and even got me a basket and then served me at the till so I was not waiting. Great service!

For the 2nd time the representative didn't contact me.

Its frustrating when 1 representative ruins the reputation of a company.

Ill have to shop elsewhere for my kitchen and bathroom renovations.

Contacted customer services and nor had a reply since Saturday 8th, missed appointments were 31st July and 7th August 2026 scheduled for 8pm.

Emails reminding me of my appointment and then hoping I enjoyed my appointment just make the whole experience rediculous when nobody concerned me and there was no appointment on 2 consecutive weeks.

Kitchen planned to be fitted in one week took 17 and still not finished. Communication a total joke! Repeatedly called customer service to complain with weeks passed before a response. Repeatedly asked to talk to a manager ,they never called me back.Left for 2 weeks with no electric sockets working as the tiler went missing. Kitchen fitter promised on 12 occasions to turn up to address issues and never did. Offer of compensation of £450 when spent 14k on a kitchen.Currently I have doors that have dropped and not level a dripping tap and kick boards which should not of been fitted but have as I’m awaiting a new floor to be fitted (from another company I may add)Never again will I use Wickes DIY. Not even to buy a can of paint. This company has zero customer service skills. They take your money on day one of the order and offer 3% refund when kitchen is not complete and 3 months late. The worst customer care I have ever received. Would not recommend Wickes DIY to change a lightbulb never mind fit a kitchen. Take my advice and shop elsewhere. They do not care.

We visited the Preston store today to purchase some flooring. The store had everything we needed and our server (Will H) was helpful and friendly with a great sense of humour. Fab customer service.

Deryn was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. Also she had great product knowledge and when I couldn't find the paint I wanted, she ordered it on line for me.

We visited the store at Preston Lancashire on the 3rd July at 15.00. We were looking for an item with regard to decorating a seam roller. At first we could not find the item but with the help of one of the team ( Will H) we foundthe roller.
I was very impressed with Will's customer service skills friendly and professional an asset to the company.

Went into Wickes Preston looking for a brand new bathroom suite, really didn’t know where to start!
Thankfully Neil Wadsworth helped us to choose everything we needed, right down to the plug for the sink!
If you’re looking for a new bathroom or kitchen, I would highly recommend the services of Neil.

We had our kitchen design service at the Preston branch, and the experience was fantastic. Kimberley Balch was such a bubbly, energetic, and professional designer who made the whole process easy and enjoyable for us. She was incredibly informative throughout every step, taking the time to answer all of our questions and making sure we felt confident with our choices. We would definitely recommend Kimberley to anyone looking for a great kitchen design experience. Thank you for all your help!

We’ve just designed our new kitchen with Adam and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From our very first chat in the showroom, he was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. He came out to measure up the very same day, and within just two days we were back in the showroom reviewing the designs — which were fantastic.

Adam really listened to what we needed and worked within our budget without compromising on style or quality. When we asked for a couple of tweaks after seeing the visuals, nothing was too much trouble. He updated everything on screen there and then, and the appliances he selected for us were spot‑on for how we live.

Thank you, Adam — we’re absolutely delighted with the design and can’t wait to see it come to life in a few weeks.

Ive recently bought some doors from wickes. Several of the doors arrived damaged but one of the doors in particular I couldnt salvage as the frosted glass was all damaged and the frosted film wasnt repairable. I spoke with wickes and sent them all the pictures etc that they need and they assured me another company who they buy them off would be in touch within 72 hours to arrange swapping the door with a new door and taking the old one away. Now nearly a week later and ive still not had any response from either.
Please could somebody get in touch as this was a £1200 order and each day without the replacement door is costing me a lot of money through no fault of my own.

I had a new bathroom fitted I like my new bathroom it was fitted well it talk 3 weeks to fit it but will worth the wait.

Had a kitchen design carried out with Adam Bowerman at the Preston branch. He couldn't do enough to help realise my ideas. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for expert advice and a professional experience.

I was short of time trying to find something at the Preston branch today and when I couldn't, I approached a member of staff for help. Sarcastically she said 'Didnt you see it on the first isle?' and left me to it, without even pointing to the correct isle. Eventually found it, but I was so cross, I went over the road to the Dulux Decorator Centre, who were amazing and located the product I wanted immediately. Will never go to Wickes again. Sarcastic and unhelpful woman. Needs retraining.
